I love the whole app situation. And the fact that these 2 fell hard and fast for each other. I love the support he provides to her and trust he puts into her. Cute book!

Okay, so I really should have seen my not liking this coming. I strongly dislike instalove but even for that trope this was too much, too fast. Despite it being a novella (I think even that is too strong of a word), it still felt incredibly rushed and forced. You can do short format romance and have it work, but this was not it. I didn’t like any of the characters, the sex scene was… meh… and I just didn’t care. The only reason I read it was because it took less than 20 mins 😂.

Save yourself the time and find a better book.

Very short but good

That was fast, spicy, and so much fun. From the moment we first see Mercy and Maxwell on the page together, their chemistry sizzles. And it only goes up from there. I loved Mercy’s sassy, snarky self. It was pretty awesome to see her own the value of her creation as well as her own worth. Maxwell may look like a shark in a suit, but I got the sense there’s a bit of gooey marshmallow hiding in the heart of the bad boy. These two were so hot together, and just so stinking cute. I can’t wait to read what comes next.

This is a very short, sexy story. Mercy is invited to a charity event where she is part of the winnings. Based on her dating app she will be paired with a man, she is hoping to gain sponsors for her app. I enjoyed this story.

A dessert of swoon & spice. If you're looking for a short read with swoon & spice, this one is for you. Mercy & Maxwell's chemistry is off the charts from first collision. Maxwell's sinful charm has Mercy getting over her rule of not mixing business and pleasure, & what pleasure it is. Will definitely be reading other books in the series.

A small slice of spice!

This story packs a full punch.
I enjoyed the emotional growth of Mercy and how she learned her worth. To live in the moment and not let fear guide her path. She was hilarious, too. The "wandering" girls.🤣
Maxwell...hot, dominate, knows what he wants and takes it. Fire... that's all I have to say.

I love this book so much! I can't wait for the next in series. Highly recommend.

For being only 39 pages but to be short, sweet, to the point and for it to be grabbing the reader. It was really fun to read. I did like this and if I could, I would come back and finish this series. It is a short series, all four books are small reads, but it is kind of like a little boost BACK into the fantasy world if you were having a hard time finding your next read.

This is just what i needed to come back to reading after a stressful two weeks of work.

Sweet, steamy romance

It's short and sweet, and full of heat! Mercy needs donations and uses her blind dating app to get them at a fundraiser. Maxwell Hastings has the winning bid. He introduces her to his world and she never looks back. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

This was super short, smutty romance that hit the spot. There’s not much I can say tbh, it was under 40 pages but I couldn’t help wanting more of it!
