That was one of the less romantic books I’ve read…
The man is a coward, he listens to his friends like he is a teenager, he mistreats her constantly and never apologizes, he puts her in an uncomfortable position and never protects her from his friends, his ex, his employees… awful hero
The book is confusing, the writing too

Someone on internet told me there’s a grovel, it’s a lie! No grovel, no love, bad sec scenes and a childish hero…
Really bad bad book… don’t trust TT
I’ve read until 85% of the book and you can’t convince me he loves her, even the relationship with her son is non existent the second part of the book, just when the ex appears with a boy who she says is his son- he’s not- but I felt like if now that I have my own son I don’t care about yours… really awful hero! 👎🏼

This was my first book by Bonnie Poirier, and it definitely won't be my last. She did a beautiful job with this book! And it was the perfect mix of angsty and sweet.

A swoony cowboy, an adorable little boy, and a sweet-as-pie single mom!! Yes, please! Bonnie did a wonderful job on this book! And an equally as good job casting this sweet book! Gideon Frost brought this grumpy ranch owner to life so well! I loved his performance as Kipp. He only added to Kipp's swoony character! I just love hearing Gideon play grumpy cowboys; it's always a win for me! Allie Martina played sweet sweet Nora. And I couldn't have loved her performance more. She brought out the best sides of Nora perfectly with her adorably delightful voice. I haven't had the opportunity to listen to Allie enough! And I found myself researching other books she's done while I was listening to this book! Thankfully, I found quite a few that these two do together! 👏 and I'm looking forward to moving them up on my TBL!

If you're looking for an adorably sweet cowboy romance with a gentle caring single mom and a swoony cowboy who has NO problem being bossy in and out of the bedroom then this book is absolutely for you! It was so sweet and exactly what I needed.

Rancher's Edge is Book 1 of Flying Diamond 5 series. It's a steamy, instslove, grumpy sunshine, age-gap, single mom gets her hunky cowboy boss romance. And it is SO good!! I started this book and literally read it through the night as I could not put it down!! Nora is a sassy, single mom to the adorable 4 year old Cooper. Kipp is a hunky, grumpy rancher and cowboy. When he sees Nora working in the local coffee shop and being harassed by her boss, he offers her a job as the live-in cook at the ranch that he runs with his 4 best friends. Both are instantly attracted to one another but have their own baggage they are dealing with. The chemistry between this couple was panty melting hot, and I thought my ovaries were going to explode watching Kipp interact with Cooper. There is some drama, but we then got the most amazing HEA. I did not see the twist at the end but loved it! I can't wait for Nash and Fallon's story!!! I loved everything about this book. Kipp is totally a new book boyfriend, and Cooper was the cutest 4 year old ever. This is going to be a great series!!!!.

After Nora has a verbal encounter with a customer, Kipp cuts in to protect her. There's immediate attraction between the two. Kipp is a rancher and despite not knowing her qualifications he offers Nora a job on his ranch. Nora is down on her luck and her son isn't happy so she decides to take the job.

Bonnie Poirier is a new to me author. I loved her writing style. She jumped right into the story. I felt the sizzling chemistry between Kipp and Nora. I loved the character development and the found family aspect. The pacing of the story kept me enthralled the entire time. The twist was so shocking. I didn't expect it at all. It was executed really well. Bonnie has a new fan in me!!

Most recently I listened to the audiobook and it's fantastic!! Performed in dual narration by Allie Martina and Gideon Frost. They were perfectly casted. Allie is a new to me narrator. I loved her range in voices. Allie captured Nora's quick wit and love for her son. Gideon was amazing as Kipp. I loved Kipp, he was such a sweetheart. Gideon captured Kipp's caring side and how he wears his heart on his sleeve. He also exuded Kipp's protectiveness and willingness to help Nora. You can also hear the fondness in his tone when Gideon was portraying Kipp's love for Nora and her son. I enjoyed his different tones for each character. If you loved Sunlight by Devney Perry you will love this book! I highly recommend the audiobook!

Audiobook coming soon!

Once I started reading, I could not stop!!! This was fantastic!
Nora has been running for almost 5 years, never staying in one place very long. Until she meets Kipp and her life changes. It's been Nora and her son, Cooper for the past 4 years, never belonging or wanting to stay.....but Kipp changes that. Kipp the cowboy.....the smoking hot COWBOY 🤠.
The slow burn is there, the anticipation, the longing....
Cooper is a 4yo with the oldest soul....he is a breath of fresh air and I adore him!
This book touched my soul, it made me laugh, made me angry and even made my cry.
Excited for the next story....I think Kipp might just be my new book boyfriend....

new to me author

Just finished chapter 14.. where the hell did the time go if three months had past .. what happened in those three months? I don’t like when all of a sudden a big amount of time has past with no story.. ugh

Okay just finished chapter 15.. I’m done lol..
-Julie put her arm gently around my shoulder, and we turned back to the house. “So, you and my son. How’s that going?”-
… it’s not going anywhere, because apparently 3 months have gone by and nothing was written about it..

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. This isn’t my normal go-to read, I prefer darker romances but it’s refreshing to read something a little lighter sometimes! I enjoyed this and loved the characters.

What to Expect:
🌾 Small Town
🌾 Swoon-Worthy
🌾 Single Mom
🌾 Cowboy/Country Boy
🌾 Found Family
🌾 Sweet Romance
🌾 Age Gap

I made a promise to myself in January to start reading more books outside of my comfort zone that aren’t my usual reads and books by new authors. I signed up for this book knowing it was something different for me, I wasn’t expecting to like this book as much as I did.

I am obsessed with Kipp and Nora. The chemistry between these two was intense and made me swoon like crazy and then you add in the relationship Kipp had with Nora’s son made my heart happy.

The heat and the banter between these two was *Chefs Kiss*. It was perfection. It had me hooked from page one right through to “The End”. This book only took me a day to read.
It was the perfect happy ending for these two and it has me excited and curious to see what else this author has up her sleeve!

Take a chance and read this!

5 STARS!

A single mom and a cowboy? Sign me up. I loved watching Kipp & Nora fall in love, I loved watching Cooper turn into a cowboy-in-training, and I loved some of the twists that came up! A few spots felt a bit disjointed from one moment to the next, but I devoured this one, and I cannot wait for more–especially after that ending!!

I had the opportunity to read Rancher’s Edge as an arc and really enjoyed it. If you like small town, single mom, found family, cowboy romances, this is a really sweet one. It was like a Hallmark movie with just the right amount of spice. It definitely left me wanting more and hoping we get more books about Kipp Miller and his family.

Nora, is in another small town with her son doing everything she can to provide and give her son the best life. Even it means working at the coffee shop, and having sexual remarks thrown her way every second.

Kipp, he finds the newest resident in his hometown intriguing and he also hates what she has to deal with, so he comes up with a plan and gets her to work as a cook on his ranch.

Loved the instant connection between the main characters and the chemistry 🔥

...loved the relationship that Kipp had with Nora's son Cooper ♥️ it was so damn beautiful 🤍

Rating: 5/5
Spice: 2.5 /5

Tropes:Cowboy, Single Mom, One Night Stand, Small Town,Age Gap

Thoughts:
Okay I didn’t think I would LOVE this book as much as I did. I am not the biggest small town romance lover but throw in a cowboy and a single mom and AGE GAP sign me up. The chemistry that Nora & Kipps have truly made me giddy and the dynamic that Kipps has with Nora son right away truly makes you swoon. I love the story how its almost like a friends to lovers. Nora has secrets of her own and I love that Kipps just lets her keep them without pressing on her or making a big deal from it. The drama in this book really wasn’t that bad at all which I loved and zero miscommunication. The spice was SPICINGGGG and honestly I just cannot rave more about it. I devoured this book in less then a 12 hour period if I didnt have to go to sleep I would of just read the book in one sitting.

I love that to book gave us a TRULY happy ending and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series because oh man if I thought I loved Noras and Kipps story I cannot wait for Nash and Falloon

If you are an elsie silver fan you will DEFINITELY love this book!

Good up until 80% when he walks back into her life and she just says yes to his proposal…like there isn’t even an apology…he quite literally walks into the coffee shop, says they are getting married and she seems to forget all that crap he’s done and said…

And they say men think with their genitalia.

They get divorced and he cheats with the nanny - guaranteed.

I am currently 74% in but I had some thoughts I needed to write down...

The whole Bella situation.. how did Bella know that Nora didn't know who Cooper's father was? She only told Kipp that story.
Why was Nash a dick after Nora dunked Bella in the sink water? Literally told her he would ask her to leave.
Why, when Bella said that Kipp was over the moon for Nora did he call Nora "just the cook?" Why deny his feelings for her at this point?
Why TF did Kipp decide it was best to move Bella and Nathan in while having Phil (P.I) dig into the paternity?

How did Lincoln know about the ranch in Texas and Nora's connection? Did he recognize her from the pics at the TX house and make the connection?

3/5⭐️

Ok.... some questions were answered and I have more but the twist was a shocker.
Kipp is Cooper's dad? Nora and Kipp hooked up all those years ago? WOW!

And Bella and Kipps cousin hooked up and resulted in a baby... dang!

As far as Nora's parents go... I wouldn't have forgiven them that quick. They were so quick to toss her out when she needed them the most and she forgave them so easily.
Which brings me to another point. I got the sense that Nora was running from something/someone. Because she changed her last name.

I'm assuming the fire to the winter cabin and the cut fences will be adressed in future books.

I wish we got to know all the Flying Diamond 5 partners a little better because at some points, it got hard remembering names and stuff.

Wonderfully Delightful & Heartfelt! Great Narration & Listen🎧

Rancher’s Edge
Flying Diamond 5, Book 1
By Bonnie Poirier
Narrated by: Allie Martina, Gideon Frost

This wonderful small town romance novel not only captivates your attention the entire time, but tugs at your heartstrings too. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are likable and easy to care about too. Nora Belfort, a single mom of an adorable four-year-old boy, Cooper, and is doing the best she can to raise him on her own. She lands in a small town that has seen better days, but she finds a job and an affordable place to live. The only drawback was her annoying boss, but she tolerated him. Kipp Miller, a rancher, hated coming into town, because he always drew unwanted attention from the busy body ladies, and he has no interest in any of them. Then he sees her, the one who captures his eye, working in the coffee shop, and after witnessing how her boss treated her, he offered her a job on his ranch. He was fine that she was a single mom and welcomed them both to the ranch. It was great to watch Nora and Kipp get to know each other and watch their relationship morph into something more. I enjoyed learning more about these characters and the mystery of Nora’s past and backstory, and how the story comes full circle by the end. This wonderfully plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and a swoon worthy romance. Bonnie Poirier, thank you for this fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧Allie Martina and Gideon Frost were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting. They were believable in every role, grasping every aspect of their personalities, with Martina nailing it as Nora, and Frost as Kipp, and both were just as fabulous in performing the roles of the secondary characters, including Cooper. They set the perfect tone for the story and captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two are a great narration team, with voices and talent that complement each other and a performance that elevates the already wonderful story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

It was so easy to get pulled into this book and I found myself unable to put it down until I had read the very last word. Kipp was everything I could want in a book boyfriend or hero. Besides the height and good looks, he is genuinely a gentleman, a protector and a good man. All are most apparent in the way he treats Nora’s young son Cooper. His kind, gentle and caring manner with a little boy who quickly idolizes him just melts my heart. Kipp’s protective and dominant matter is absolutely swoon-worthy. It certainly gets Nora all hot and bothered.

I admire Nora too. She is a feisty, independent single mom who is struggling to take care of her son on herself on her own. She is a formidable Momma Bear, fiercely protective and takes no prisoners when little Cooper’s well-being is threatened. She refuses to be a charity case and is more concerned with others than herself. She is happy to take the job as cook on the ranch that Kipp and his friends own because she knows it will enable her to better provide for her son. Her big, generous heart is one of her best attributes, as Kipp will attest to. I also love how Nora is not afraid to go toe to toe with Kipp or to talk back to him.

Kipp and Nora’s super hot chemistry most certainly leads to a deeper connection between them as well as an abundance of steamy interludes. (Cue the fans!) I liked how Kipp took his time with Nora because he knew she had been hurt in the past just like he had been and that she had little Cooper’s heart to protect too. When they finally admit their feelings….sighs and smiles. The teasing and support from his friends, his mom and her friend Kristin are entertaining. The few twists to this book were intriguing and only made it captivating.

This charming, entertaining and spicy book is well worth reading. I would give it my highest recommendation.

This cowboy romance is a fun and cute story of two people destined to find each other even when the world around them poses challenge after challenge.

Nora is a single mom to 5-year-old Cooper who is working hard to make ends meet when she meets Kipp, a surly rancher who sees Nora working at the local coffee shop with her creepy boss and decides to make her an offer to work as the cook on his ranch so she doesn't have to deal with the harassment anymore. With the offer including room and board for her and her son, including free daycare she snaps up the opportunity to try and save money and work for a better future for her little family.

Nora and Cooper settle into ranch life easily and the soft edges of their presence on the ranch help ease the hard edges of Kipp and the tough façade he has been forced to put up because of his past. Nora and Kipp can't help but fall in love with each other and Kipp ends up loving Cooper as if he were his own son. When Kipp's past comes barreling through their lives and tries to wreck havoc on their newly found peace, their relationship is put to the test and they choose love and their new family to ground them and navigate together.

This book had so many more twists, turns, surprises and even a juicy cliffhanger I was not expecting but I loved that! I am excited to see what happens in the next book!

Allie Martina and Gideon Frost are a dynamic duo! They compliment each other so well with Allie's softness opposite Gideon's deep register and grit. I love both of these narrators on other titles separately, but this is the first book I've listened to with them together and it was fantastic.

Favorite quote:
“Is this whiskey?” “You seem like you need a shot. You’re a little high-strung today.” She smiled and threw hers back. “It’s ten in the morning,” I said, looking at the alcohol in my hand. She shrugged. “It's branding. You’ve been up since four, right?” Her grin made me shake my head and, following suit, I did the same and it burned all the way down my throat.”

Cowboy Romance

Found Family

This is my first book by Bonnie and I loved it! Rancher’s Edge is currently a stand alone. The author does plan on writing additional books for a series. It was fast paced but also a slow and low burn for the FMC, Nora, and MMC, Kipp. There is a fair amount of spice, Kipp can bring on the charm!! This book has one of my favorite tropes, found family. Kipp’s buddies and Kristen’s friend are hilarious and I can’t wait to get to know them a little more. His momma, Julie, was also one of my favorite characters. I would love to hear her story as well.

Nora is feisty, strong willed, and will do anything for her son, Cooper. She moves to a small town to start over provide a good life for Cooper. She catches the eye of the highly sought out bachelor, Kipp. It was so funny to watch Kipp resist his feelings for Nora. He is one of those leading guys that falls hard and first! Rancher’s Edge was packed full of twists and turns that I did not expect at all. Bonnie kept me on my toes and gasping during the reveals.

That’s it, I now want a sexy cowboy that knows how to fill out a pair of jeans! This was my first book by Bonnie and I am hooked - cannot wait for the next book in the series! The heat between Nora and Kipp is hot from the start 🔥🔥 Once I started reading, I could not put this book down! At times you will laugh, you will cry, get angry and frustrated - most of all, you will love the twists! This book will charm “the pants off you” and leave you going back for more 😊

A thoroughly enjoyable read from one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. You will fall in love with Kipp and Nora, hoping that everything with work out for them and they have a future together. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Cowboy Cuties!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, this was probably one of the most enrapturing cowboy books I have ever come across. I was so invested in this story, it isn’t funny at this point.

The characters were phenomenal. The writing was unreal. The spice was very good. The plot was absolutely heartwarming. I loved it so much!!!!!! All good words for this book.

I loved that Nora was the comfort character for Kipp. He definitely needed that person in his life. I loved the character development between the two also. It was so cute. And, it’s safe to say, the heartbreaking scene didn’t split me in two and that’s why I loved it even more. These characters were so understanding and their love was just the damn cutest.

I hated Bella. She could go away. The crazy ex was nothing but trouble and I’m so glad for all the horrible things that came to her. (Like Nora dunking her in water. 🤭)

My absolute favourite thing about this book is that Kipp was the father of that sweet little boy. After all the time of not remembering who she drunkenly slept with that night, I am so beyond glad that he was the one that actually slept with her. It was like destiny. It came legit full circle. I’m so glad he wasn’t some crusty toad that she took home. I think I would have been so mad if that were the case. Also the fact that Nash was the one to put the pieces together was just crazy and had me kicking and screaming and giggling.

Absolutely loved it!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Tropes: Grumpy/Sunshine, Opposites Attract, Single Mom, Age Gap, Found Family, Slow Burn

The Rancher’s Edge by Bonnie Poirier sweeps listeners into the rugged beauty and grit of Texas ranch life, where love and mystery intermingle. The story follows Nora, a resilient single mother who, after an unpleasant experience with her boss, accepts a job as a cook at the Flying Diamond Ranch. Here, she meets Kipp, a guarded ranch owner whose solitude is slowly challenged by Nora’s warmth. As they work side by side, their chemistry builds, leading both to confront their pasts and take a chance on love. But while Nora and Kipp’s romance unfolds, strange and unsettling events cast a shadow over the ranch.

Poirier masterfully combines the romance tropes of Grumpy/Sunshine and Opposites Attract with suspenseful elements that deepen the story’s intrigue. For listeners who enjoy a blend of romance, resilience, and suspense set against a richly described Western landscape, The Rancher’s Edge offers an audiobook experience that is both captivating and haunting. While the story of Nora and Kipp may reach a heartfelt conclusion, the secrets of the Flying Diamond Ranch remain unsolved, leaving listeners eager for more.

I LOVED this book! It had everything; sweet moments, plenty of emotional scenes, lots of spice, and all of the plot twists throughout the book keep you fully invested in the story until the very last page as you can't wait to find out what happens next.

One of my favorite parts of the book was when Nora and Kipp danced to the George Strait song in the kitchen. I also loved the reference to Cody Johnson's song "Dance Her Home" in that scene.

Another favorite part for me was when Nora was telling Kipp about how for her, he was like the leading man in the romance novels she had read when she was younger. I also loved that Kipp would read the books that Nora read after she was finished with them.

My favorite quote from Rancher's Edge was when Kipp and Nora had the picnic in the meadow and he said to her; “You don’t have to be nervous, Nora. It’s just me,” to which she responded: “It’s because it’s you I’m nervous.” I know exactly what that feels like.

Rancher's Edge was definitely a five star read for me and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves cowboy romances. 🤠 I can't wait to read the next book!

Rancher's Edge
Flying Diamond 5 Ranch Book 1
By Bonnie Poirier
Narrated by Allie Martina, Gideon Frost

Bring on Bonnie Poirier! She is a new to me author, and I loved hearing the first book in her Flying Diamond 5 Ranch series. Romantic...check. Cowboys....check. Single parent....check. I am all in! Kipp sees Nora at the local coffee shop, her boss not being the nicest to her. Offering her a job at his ranch as the cook for more money and to bring her son along too is something she can't refuse. But why does he do this? Is it the insane chemistry he feels? Well, it's there is spades. But there are secrets untold, mysteries to solve, surprises to see and a little boy with a cuteness that is irresistible. It's a small town feel with a romance that is easy to escape into. This is a series I look forward to continuing.

Allie Martina and Gideon Frost are the storytellers and they are fantastic together. Martina is Nora. She is feisty, ready to give as good as she gets and has a heart of gold all coming through Martina's voice. Frost spreads care and love in his voice as he becomes Kipp. Ready to fall, leader of the home, his voice projects all the feelings. I enjoyed these two together and loved their performance.

Thank you High Gravity Productions for the #gifted ALC.

Audio Review:
This is a dual POV audiobook narrated by Allie Martina & Gideon Frost. The narrators were entertaining and did a fantastic job with their performance.
Audio performance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Story:
Rancher’s Edge is set in a small town with Nora, a single mom working in a cafe and living in a near condemned area of town. Kipp is running a large ranch and needs a cook for the ranch. He hires Nora to come live at the Ranch and cook for the crew.

What I liked:
I’m a sucker for found family. Nora and her son found a home and family at the Ranch with Kipp and his team. There’s a plot twist that happens and the end result of it has a happy ending.

What I didn’t like:
I’m not a big fan of “instant love”and this is how it was with Kipp and Nora. I would have loved a little more of a slow burn.
There was a mystery piece in the story and we never got a clear picture of who was for sure causing the issues or a resolution to it. It’s a series so maybe it’s coming in the next book but there wasn’t anything that leads us to know for sure.

If you’re looking for a spicy cowboy romance … this would fit the bill!

Romance Content: Open-door pretty spicy with explicit language.

The climax was pointless. They are both grown yet can't communicate. With the climax, all the MMC had to do was talk with Nora about their PI looking into if his exs son was actually his and where he stood with his ex and Nora. I don't know why authors always have the MMC put up with the ex in their home and disrespecting the FMC and then end up also saying disrespectful things about the FMC to "protect" her especially since the ex already knows they're a couple. There was never any grovel or talking through it when they fought, mainly sex or an all of a sudden proposal. Nora could've communicated better also. They are working in the farm and she's mad the focus isn't on her? Grow up. I didn't get the big deal of not telling Kipp that when she became pregnant she was kicked out by her parents and changed her last name so they couldn't find her- which they were. ALSO Kipp having his PI immediately search into her just because he's interested in her was weird. I hated the 2nd "climax"/ plot twist. The old finding out your lover is your drunken ONS from when you got pregnant. The fact it was revealed at the end, she was only ever with him, Nash found out and didn't immediately tell them and Cooper, a four year old, put it together faster than them?

This was such a cute, sweet, and emotional story!! You also get a very good-looking cowboy, so it's a win-win for me!

Nora is a single mom to four year old Cooper. She ran away from home once she became pregnant and had never stayed in one place for long. That is until Kipp Miller walks into her life. Kipp is one of the 5 ranchers at Flying Dimond 5 Ranch and is in need of a cook. He brings Nora and Cooper back to the ranch to work and live, and their lives change for the better. Cooper finally has a place to call home and falls in love with the cowboy life. Nora finally has people she can trust and someone she can lean on.

Nora had her secrets, but I enjoyed how Kipp slowly showed her she could trust him. And she allowed Kipp to finally break his walls down. I loved the chemistry between Kipp and Nora. Also loved the banter. He loved to get Nora fired up, and I enjoyed it so much! Kipp and Coopers' relationship was the freaking cutest!! Cooper wanted to be just like Kipp! Kipp loved that and never hesitated to be that father figure Cooper craved so much. This had the perfect found family vibes, and it made me giddy, and I just loved it!

Thank you, Bonnie Poirier and The Author Agency, for this ARC.

Book Review: Rancher’s Edge by: Bonnie Poirier

This is my first book by Bonnie and I loved it! Rancher’s Edge. Kipp and Nora have my heart and little Cooper wise beyond his years sees things that the adults don’t and he is so cute!! I couldn’t put this book down it was so good! I love cowboy romances and this one didn’t disappoint! Nora has been on the run from her past for nearly 5 years with her four year old. But once she meets Kipp everything changes for them. The chemistry between the two is electric. The plot and characters are rich in description and the story is so good like you are really living on a working ranch! All the feels in this story and I loved it. Kipp has demons he never really released and Nora’s past he kept her from a family for her and Cooper. The plot twist was spectacular and I cried! There was one part that was kinda left open but given that there are more stories to come I hope she explains the threats and who they are from. I absolutely 💯 recommend reading this beautiful romance!

4.5 stars!! I really enjoyed this book! I decided to check it out because I saw the next book was releasing soon and it sounded really good. They’re both technically standalones but because the world is interconnected, I wanted the backstory. I’m glad I did as I really loved this story from start to finish.

I loved Nora and little Cooper! She was so warm and welcoming and he was the cutest little cowboy ever. I loved that he clung to Kipp almost straight away. The scenes with Kipp and Coop made me swoon a bit, they were so adorable!!

The relationship was quick but it didn’t feel like cheesy instalove! They were together over the span of quite a few months so it made sense to me.

I loved the plot twist at the end. There were a few bomb drops around the 80%-85% mark and they were all so good!!

I really enjoyed the other characters too! The guys were all very welcoming and I can’t wait for them to get their own stories. Fallon and Nash are next and I can tell it’s going to be a wild ride!

Overall this was a sweet, small town ranch romance with great banter, the tiniest dash of spice, and found family you could only get in a small town 🧡

★★★★. Thank you to the author agency for this arc!!!

A cute instalove single mom cowboy romance. This book had all the swoon worthy tropes and cliches in one and still was so cute. I loved the communication Kipp and Nora had with one another up until the third act. I do like how Kipp immediately stepped up and was there for Nora and Cooper. Nora I thought was good. She was doing anything possible to give a better life to her son. Cooper was ADORABLE, but I had a hard time figuring out how old he was because for a 4 year old he was talking perfectly fine.

For what I didn’t like:
The third act.
The ex drama that was thrown in for no reason IN MY OPINION. I didn’t see the point of throwing that in this book when different routes could’ve been made. And having Kipp say he wouldn’t have minded completely threw me off.
The random revelation at the end with Cooper didn’t make sense to me. The author should’ve left it as it was because of the view it gives off.

Fallon and Nash interest me though. I will be tuning in to see how that is written and handled!
