I have just finish BETA reading this story, I'm so excited to share with you all. Let me introduce you to Gibson Barclay the new love of my life (only in my dreams). Gibson is the ultimate rock star, he certainly holds the power or does he?, woman literally throw themselves at him, along with their Knickers hehe!! I know right? well in all honesty he can have my whole knicker drawer, the man is a God, he knows a woman's body inside and out, he ozzes charm and sex appeal, he has seduction down to a fine art, but there's more to him than that, he is an amazing musician, thousands and thousands of people want to see him, men only wish they had half of what he has, every woman wants him if only even for a brief moment, Gibson has never even heard the word no, he gets what he wants cause it is pretty much there on a plate for him. Along comes Chloe Jenner, sweet Chloe, bless her, seen too much, heard to much but yet not lived enough. She has a brief encounter which leaves her stunned, no kissing, no touching just staring into the eyes of a man she has confessed to her friends she has fantasised about. Chloe believes that Gibson doesn't even know she exists, living in two completely different worlds Chloe often thinks of him. This story has brought out so many emotions, I have felt moments of sadness followed by happiness, I have laughed out loud, I have even felt worry, yes it is one hell of a story, I think cause it is so close to real life, real emotions, there's no alpha billionaire in this story but there is Gibson God Barclay, events that take place in this story could happen to anyone, I think it is that what makes it all seem so real, that and the fact that KL Shandwick can tell an epic story, I wish I could share so much more with you all but I hating giving out spoilers. Let me just say this book is now in my top five, I definitely recommend this read as it has had me gripped. Thank you for sharing Gibson with me KL, I can't wait to continue following this story.

I was fortunate to be given this book as an ARC.
Rock star stories are a dime a dozen, so it takes a special story to grab my attention and boy, did this one ever grab it!
Gibson is a young man whore and an up and coming rock star. Chloe is a young, innocent, sweet bar maid. Same old, same old? Absolutely not!
I hate to say more, because she's written such a unique twist, I want you to experience it.
I will say that - I fell in love with both characters. They both have their emotional baggage yet despite the odds, they sense the connection and their adventure will leave you yearning for more.
KL tells a sexy tale that is remarkably restrained in it's pacing and truly touching in the emotions we feel both with the characters and between the characters. I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of their story. If you love sexy rock stars, but want a truly unique story told from both POVs, grab this now!

Oh my goodness !!!
Where do I start ?
My emotions are scattered and I feel the dull ache of the book hangover shrouding me in it's blanket!!

I love the work from this author and having read all of her previous books I feel like I've waited and age for this book, so I was thrilled to be offered the chance to read the ARC and jumped at the opportunity.
This book didn't disappoint me one bit. I loved it. Dare I say a little bit more than her other work (which kind of feels like a sin because I truly adore her other books :) )
Now I don't like to give reviews with spoilers so I will explain how the book actually left me with scattered emotions.
I felt every emotion known while reading this book even to the point I actually felt frustration. Yes frustration with the author!! I say this because the story was developing and I was reading expecting it to take one path, almost building my hopes for how the characters would be and the scenarios or scenes I was yet to read, were already forming in my head then BAM totally thrown a curve ball and the story zoomed off in a completely different direction. I found myself wanting the story to take a certain direction and when it didn't I began to feel a little what the hell??
However the more I immersed myself in the books world and the further I read I realised this frustration I felt was actually an amazing feeling.
This author pushed my expectations to their boundaries, then over them and believe me she delivered on multiple levels with this story. The ride she delivered was intoxicating and rather than just giving me a romance story that was an easy run of the mill read she made me formulate questions, thoughts and really take a look at myself. I've always thought myself very open minded but in this story I'm ashamed to admit I did judge and make assumptions of the characters, especially Gibson himself.
I found myself in my midst of frustration actually having a bit of a revelation and realising that because this author had not given me what I wanted and had literally pushed me to explore the unexpected of her story, to open myself up to the fact that even though it wasn't developing the way I was initially anticipating, I got a much better experience above and beyond what was predicted, expected or even dreamed of. A mega talent for any author to produce you to feel like this.
Gibson is known for being a bit of a man whore and as a rock star he has the typical "rock star tag". People look at him and assume he has everything, he's living the dream, but sometimes the one thing a person like that really wants is acceptance.
"No one knows me like I know me. No one knows what the fuck is going on in my head. No one has the 'skinny' on my fucking feelings Chloe, you know why? Because they are mine. So don't tell me what I'm thinking or what I'm going to do because only I know that.
Get to know me. Gibson Barclay without the fucking rock star tag. I'm a person first. Gibson and M3rCy are two different entities. I happen to sing to millions of people for a living, that's what I do not who I am." -Gibson Barclay
I actually warmed to Gibson from the start even though his behaviour in the beginning was questionable he still had this roguish charm about him. Enter Chloe and her demure personality, she has morals and principles that she abides by. These could be blamed for the length of time she allows herself to be kept within an abused environment that strips her of confidence and honestly, her survival strength.
Both characters are complex and intricate. They have a depth to them that you rarely find in a fictitious character.
K L Shandwick has brought two amazingly different personalities together and produced a spectacular fireworks show.
I give this 5 * and would whole heartedly recommend it. I can't wait for the next instalment in the series.

I was given the honour of reading an ARC of this book, I snapped up this opportunity with both hands. After reading K.L.Shandwick's past reads I was very excited to see what else she had in store for us, and boy did she deliver, Hot scenes? Yes. Angst? Yes. A Rock Star with a Bad boy persona? Yes. A storyline from both POV's? Yes. A book filled with amazing music? Yes. Do you need me to continue....
This book had me frustrated, I mean beyond the words on the pages. Chloe Jenner had it all on the outside world, but with a dark secret she held close to her behind closed doors she thought her life would be so much different then what it had become.. Luck came knocking at her door, she knew this was her opportunity to change the course of her future....
Chloe and Gibson both held each emotion possible for me, from frustration to awe, reading from both POV's gave me a wider spectrum of how they were both feeling, right at that moment, it was amazingly written. And I loved it!!!
Both of them knew each other from the past and chance of luck a phone call spins everything for both Gibson and Chloe in a spin. There worlds apart, but they think about each other a lot...Without giving spoilers, I'm not that bad LOL They meet up again 5 yrs later, with Gibson's roc Star lifestyle Chloe realises how different they are now. Gibson realises his feelings for Chloe are stronger than he thought and he can't hide them any long. This is how Chloe frustrates me, Gibson wants more, he tries with everything he has to prove it, say it, show it. But Chloe thinks she knows him, really she knows the stage Gibson....
Gibson can't seem to shake is past off, Chloe can't see past his wrong ways, his past... she THINKS she knows him, when really he is different, he wants to be different, he wants Chloe to see the real him, to get to know the real him.... Will she let herself have that chance, to see him for the real an, not the performer or man whore, will she let her guard down and let her old feelings surface? Can Gibson be the man she needs, and show her for what she is worth. Will Chloe let Gibson be that man he longs to be and show everyone. He needs Chloe give him that chance, but she struggles...
His past keeps creeping up on him......
I want to say this Author has produced some amazing writing in the past. But this book has passed all expectations, it is without doubt her best work to date, and I KNOW she hasn't hit her peak yet, the best is yet to come... Like I said at the beginning every emotion was brought to me, and I promise the same will happen for you.

Wow!! I don't know where to start...lol I loved KL's last books but I think I loved this one even more!!
For a start I was completely honoured to be mentioned in the dedication, this got me a bit emotional and I hadn't even started the book yet!!
It really had me hooked from the start, I instantly fell in love with Gibson and he is definitely my new bbf!! I don't like giving too much away in reviews so I won't give spoilers but I will say that this story hooked me!! The writing was brilliant and I definitely think even better than KL's last books....I am in no way putting down the others because I loved them too, this story just hooked me in completely, I loved the characters, the way it was written and it had some very HOT scenes in it!!!
Chloe is a great female character, I even found I could relate to her a bit with some parts of her personality. She has been through a rough time and given the opportunity to escape it all she takes it, in walks Gibson Barclay! She has seen him in some 'compromising' positions a few times but still finds she can't get him out of her head....and when you meet Gibson you will completely understand LOL He has the charisma, the charm, the sexy body, a way with words and to top it off is a Rock Star!!!
I loved the alternative POV's, I think it gives the reader more insight to how both characters are feeling and thinking within the same situation and when they are apart.
Gibson is the typical Rock Star that sleeps with any woman but has an instant attraction to Chloe from years back and is still there when he 'arranges' their meet. Seeing him with Chloe you see a completely different side to him and you can tell he is instantly smitten with her...
"I'm not messing with you Chloe. You give me feelings I've never had before. I don't know what the f$&$ to do with them. All I know is when you are near me it's like.....like someone has stuffed a helium filled balloon inside me. Like a floating feeling but inside my chest."
All I can finish off saying is that I loved this book, the characters were great and I loved the reference to songs in it just as KL always does. I can't wait for the next book, I definitely need more!! I highly recommend this book!!

Review of Gibson's Legacy by KL Shandwick.
Let me start by saying that I enjoyed this book tremendously! I was hooked immediately! I like the evolution of the characters. They are very three dimensional...believable.
Gibson Barclay is a wonderful character. I bonded with him right away. KL put me right into his mindset. I love every detail. He's flawed yet incredibly lovable. Did I mention how insanely HOT Gibson is?? His sex appeal is OFF THE CHARTS! He is also very human and relatable. I am smitten.
Chloe is fabulous. She has a lot of sass. In the beginning of the book she is a student and a working girl. She is still dating her high school sweetheart. She is also very closed off at this time in her life. By that I mean that she is young, naive and has a very strong opinion of what dating and true love is all about.
Her initial interactions with Gibson embarrass and shock her. In spite of herself she is intrigued and scintillated.
Their chemistry in undeniable!
They both know it. One transcendent moment is all it takes. Fate brings them together.
I'll leave it in your hands to finish the rest of the story. It is an awesome read and an awesome book! KL Shandwick knocks it out of the park again.
The 1-5 star rating system is outdated and inaccurate as far as I am concerned!! I give this book 10 stars!! Five just isn't enough!!

Dalla parte di Chloe ci sono Kace O’Neill, il suo ragazzo da due anni, maturo e calmo, l’amica Rubi che è l’unica che si accorge di quello che succede tra i protagonisti e il nuovo amico Gavin. Dalla parte di Gibson non possono mancare i ragazzi della band: Lennox il batterista e fondatore della band, Mick il chitarrista e Simon bassista. Si aggiungono Toby, amico e cantante di un altro gruppo e Tori la nuova tastierista che creerà un po’ di problemi. Tanti altri nomi vengono citati, tuttavia non influenzano la storia. Ci sono parecchi scene sensuali, anche abbastanza spinte, tuttavia non volgari e pertinenti con il personaggio di Gibson. Il ragazzo ci spiega come mai ha questo rapporto con il sesso permettendoci di capirlo di più ed è interessante come si lascia andare Chloe. La cover mi piace ed è pertinente. Gibson's Legacy è un libro coinvolgente e per nulla superficiale. Non si legge esclusivamente di sesso, tutt'altro: affronta due argomenti importanti che hanno portato a Gibson a comportarsi come faceva da ragazzino e a Chloe a essere la donna che leggiamo quando è a New York.

I got gifted this ARC in a competition. I must admit this is the first book I have read by K.L.Shandwick but from now on she has a fan in me!!
Gibson's Legacy introduces us to the talented and hot Gibson Barclay, he is lead singer in a band called M3rCy. Gibson is a love them and leave them guy when we are first introduced to him, he notices Chloe she is a cleaner in the bar where his band performs, she is not impressed with his sexual exploits especially because she always seems to catch him with his latest conquest, but Chloe has caught Gibson's eye. Five years later their paths cross again, Gibson and his band have hit the big time and Chloe has just escaped from an abusive relationship. Can Gibson and Chloe work through their paths and find happiness in each other??
I loved this book it kept me up reading into the early hours of the morning. I found myself shouting at Chloe 'give him a chance' while on the other hand hoping that Gibson would not hurt her!!! I loved this pair and cannot wait to read more about Gibson and Chloe.

Loved this book... it's not about a rock star, it's about two broken people who find a way to see each other after many years and many hard times separate them. Gibson is sexy, naughty and lonely... Chloe is beautiful and broken after an abusive relationship. I love how she wove them back together in such a unique way. Cannot wait to read what happens next!

I love RockStar stories, but there are so many out there that are really short and not brilliantly written that I'm very picky to which Rockstar books that I now read.
Gibson's Legacy's synopsis really caught my eye. It sounded original but with aspects of what I loved in a RockStar book.
Gibson Barclay is the extremely hot lead singer in the band called M3rCy. They are a very talented up and coming band. Gibson is a man whore who loves to sleep around and then never see them again. He wants no ties with anyone, doesnt make excuses for who he is or how he acts and will answer to nobody about his life style choice. Gibson has never heard the word no, women want him and men want to be like him.
I really loved Gibson right from the start even though in the Beginning he doesn't have many redeeming qualities. He had a way about him, a charm that pulled you in and made you love him despite his faults. Without being told you could tell from Gibson's behaviour at the beginning that he is going to be a complex and interesting character. I wanted to know everything about him and why he was the way he was with women? And what women would change him?
Chloe Jenner is the cleaner at the bar that Gibsons band plays at. She is a very sweet, innocent, young and niave. She also is a complex character who carrys alot of baggage. Unfortunately for her she sees first hand how he treats women and she isn't impressed at all by the way he treats the women and that he is just using them. She doesn't care that she has caught Gibson's eye because she would never go anywhere near him after everything she has seen him do with women at the bar.
5 years passes and Gibson and his band have hit the big time. Chloe has just managed to escape the abusive relationship she was in, when her and Gibson cross paths again. Chloe has been warned down from the abusive relationship tha she had been in, she had no confidence and was broken.
The story then becomes very unique and is why this story is not the same as any other RockStar story that is out there. There are surprises and secrets, twists and turns page after page, that will keep you gripped right to the end. I never expected the story to take his path. Right from the start I thought I knew how the story would go, I thought it would be predictable read and then all of a sudden it changed course completly. I loved that the story did this and that the author didn't just write another "RockStar" book.
The author wrote the book in duel point of view. I am always a fan of authors writing stories this way. It makes the story more complex because we get to really get to see in to both characters minds, see what they are thinking and feeling about different situations.
The author created a great story that had so much emotion, angst, love, fate, laughter and passion in it. It also had very well written sex scenes that fitted nicely in to the story.
This was my first book I had read by K.L Shandwick and I was very impressed. I really liked how the story flowed and that she gave very good descriptions throughout, as well as creating two very loveable characters tha you want more and more from. I loved that the author created a unique story, but still managed to include bits that you can recognise and enjoy from most RockStar books out there.
I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

I love rock star romance books and this one didn't disappoint. Gibson meet Chloe when his band was just starting out. She caught him in some uncomfortable situations with women and Chloe thought of him as a man whore. Gibson still remembers after 7 years the way Chloe looked at him when she found him in those uncomfortable situations. No one ever says no to Gibson so when Chloe meets him and the band and turns him down, he wants to change the way Chloe thinks of him.
This was a fantastic read. I wanted to give Gibson a good shake sometimes because he could be such a idiot. Chloe needed to realise that people could change, but she really didn't see it at first.
This story kept me gripped and on the edge of my seat. I couldn't really see Gibson and Chloe being a couple because they are so different and lead completely different lifestyles. But thinking about them at the end, they make a fantastic couple because they balance each other out.
I can't wait for the next book in the series.

After reading The Everything Trilogy and Love With Every Beat by K.L. Shandwick I waited for this book like a mad woman. The author sent me a private message once during the early writing stages of this book and that one scene Ms. Shandwick shared with me blew my mind. It was lust at first sight and naturally, I had to wait in agony for the book to be completed. The author was gracious to share with me an Advance Reader’s Copy and I’m so thrilled that she did.
This book was very different from her previous works. She took her storytelling talents to a whole new level. Unfortunately, I will not base my review on the story itself because I’m afraid I will give important plot elements away. But let me tell you, the writing style and execution was a home run. I ate this novel up quicker than a Hershey’s chocolate bar. I couldn’t put the book down. It was that feeling, ‘Just one more chapter… Okay, maybe one more? No! I need to read more!’
I had so many questions formulating in my head. I found myself wondering where is the author going with this and more than once, I felt sorrow followed by immense elation. The author evoked many emotions within me; from Chloe’s painful past to understanding Gibson’s man-whorish ways.
Did I mention this book is told from both their points of view? I love dual point of view storytelling because we have a backstage pass to the narrator’s brain, how they feel, how they react to what’s going on. It was so well done I didn’t find the transitions jarring. Each point of view had their unique voice and I loved that!
Gibson’s Legacy is the first book of the Last Score Series and there is a HEAFN (Happily Ever After For Now). I am eager to see the next installment in this series because a man like Gibson Barclay isn’t easily tamed. There is angst, passion, lust, love and sex that will blow your mind. This book isn’t your average romance read. It feels different to all the rock star romances I’ve read in the past, including the prior written works of the author.
I definitely recommend this book! Four things I must stress in this review. 1) You will fall in lust with Gibson Barclay, 2) You will fall in love with Gibson Barclay, 3) You will find yourself re-reading this book as soon as you are done, and 4) If you’re anything like me, you will stalk the author and demand more. I know I did.

After reading The Everything Trilogyand Love With Every Beat by K.L. Shandwick I waited for this book like a mad woman. The author sent me a private message once during the early writing stages of this book and that one scene Ms. Shandwick shared with me blew my mind. It was lust at first sight and naturally, I had to wait in agony for the book to be completed. The author was gracious to share with me an Advance Reader’s Copy and I’m so thrilled that she did.
This book was very different from her previous works. She took her storytelling talents to a whole new level. Unfortunately, I will not base my review on the story itself because I’m afraid I will give important plot elements away. But let me tell you, the writing style and execution was a home run. I ate this novel up quicker than a Hershey’schocolate bar. I couldn’t put the book down. It was that feeling, ‘Just one more chapter… Okay, maybe one more? No! I need to read more!’
I had so many questions formulating in my head. I found myself wondering where is the author going with this and more than once, I felt sorrow followed by immense elation. The author evoked many emotions within me; from Chloe’s painful past to understanding Gibson’s man-whorish ways.
Did I mention this book is told from both their points of view? I love dual point of view storytelling because we have a backstage pass to the narrator’s brain, how they feel, how they react to what’s going on. It was so well done I didn’t find the transitions jarring. Each point of view had their unique voice and I loved that!
Gibson’s Legacy is the first book of theLast Score Series and there is a HEAFN(Happily Ever After For Now). I am eager to see the next installment in this series because a man like Gibson Barclay isn’t easily tamed. There is angst, passion, lust, love and sex that will blow your mind. This book isn’t your average romance read. It feels different to all the rock star romances I’ve read in the past, including the prior written works of the author.
I definitely recommend this book! Firstly, I loved this book and didn't want it to end! It's also told from a dual point of view which I loved.
Twenty-four year old rock god, Gibson Barclay, is a teen sensation. He lives his life the way he wants to live it with little regard for the advice given to him by publicists and consultants. Gibson does things his way. He's rarely off the covers of magazines, newspapers or TV shows which are usually reporting his wild lifestyle. Women fall at his feet, no one ever tells him no, he knows how to seduce women because this young man just oozes sex appeal and always gets what he wants. However, is the way the world sees Gibson Barclay the real Gibson Barclay? Like so many of us, he's flawed, but you can't help but fall in love with him!
Chloe Jenner. She cleans at the club where Gibson's band play. She's dreamt of Gibson like every other female on the planet. And even though there's a split second encounter with Gibson where their eyes lock, she thinks he doesn't realise she's alive. But Gibson felt it when their eyes met, too.
Fast forward five years when they meet again. Gibson's hit the big time with his band and Chloe is recovering from an abusive relationship. I loved this book and I totally fell for Gibson. He's hot, sexy, charming and everyone wants a piece of him. Even the way he talks is sexy! Chloe is a great female character. She's seen Gibson at his worst and she's seen the endless conquests. However, she finds herself drawn to him, unable to get him out of her head.
This is a story of many emotions. Passion, love, drama and sadness are all mixed up together resulting in one hell of a story that I couldn't put down. The characters are easy to relate to and you'll want to hook up with Gibson yourselves! I'm not going to say anymore as it will give away too much and this book deserves to be read with a blank canvas. You really must live this crazy ride with Gibson Barclay first hand! Can't wait for the next book; please make it soon!

This was my first read of K.L. Shandwick and I loved it. I will admit that I have a love of all things hot rock stars. We meet Gibson Barclay in his early days when his band is performing at a small bar. He is the epitome of sleazy rock stars and their wild sexual exploits with their groupies and he doesn't care who knows.
"Gibson Barclay. You know...man-whore-extraordinare, Gibson. Come f**k-with-me-after-my-gig, Gibson."
Chloe is a college student and an employee at the bar and has a strange attraction to Gibson, but has seen his exploits, accidentally, too many times and finds his treatment of women disgusting. We do see a fleeting attraction Gibson seems to have for her as well. But Gibson's band, M3rcy is on the rise and he and Chloe do not see each other again for five years.
Chloe's personal life becomes a nightmare and she needs to escape it. K.L. gives the reader a wonderful twist and I don't want to say anything more here to spoil it for the reader.
Circumstances end up crossing the paths of Chloe and Gibson again and this story is a whirlwind of mis-understandings, angsty situations, hot rockers, snarky women and frustrating situations. I found myself pulling my hair out multiple times over Chloe and her actions. I felt for Gibson and his frustration over his "legacy" that he can't seem to lose as hard as he tries.
Maturity had made Gibson even more stunning to look at. Mesmerizing actually. Same beautiful even features, plump, really kissable lips, strong jawline, and the one thing that always struck me...his amazingly flawless, satiny, golden tanned skin......Incredibly fit, toned and strong, his energy seemed boundless. Gibson oozed charm and charisma and there was a defiance about him that made his bad-boy image a magnet for people.
Swoon!!!!
This was a roller coaster of emotions and I loved every minute of it. As I was finishing it up, I got the feeling there is a sequel coming and not to disappoint, K.L. says "To be continued..."
I cannot wait to read the next book!!

KL Shandwick has done it again !
Another 5 Star Read!
I have read all of KL Shandwicks books and I have loved everyone of them, and now I will be adding Gibson's Legacy to my list of All Time Favorite books and Gibson to my list of BBF.
I really like that this book is written with the POV's from both of the main characters Gibson and Chloe.
Gibson the Rockstar who has a reputation of being a man-whore, but there is more to him then meets the eye and he struggles with that reputation especially with the women in his life.
Chloe the sweet and vulnerable good girl who is trying make a new life for herself after leaving a very abusive relationship. She too has struggles of her own especially when it comes to men in her life.
This is not your typical Rockstar Love Story where boy meets girl and they fall in love. These 2 characters meet years earlier where they first notice the attraction they have for one another but it never leads to anything at that time. Then they meet again years later and find that they still have that attraction for each other, but both are different people then they were before due to the circumstances that have happen to them in the years in between their meetings which causes them to be very cautious at times but still makes it hard for them to fight the attraction that they have for each other.
Theirs is a story of what can happen when you are willing to take a chance despite the demons and fears you have inside yourself to find that one special person and that one special love.
This story has all the bells and whistles when it comes to a hot romance, Sexy Man, Beautiful Woman, Happiness, Sadness and don't forget about the Steamy Sex !!!
I can hardly wait to read the next book in this series and see how their story unfolds.

Gibson Barclay...such a perfect name for a sexy hot rocker.
Gibson is on the rise to becoming the next big Rockstar. He is a chick magnet and takes advantage of every opportunity that comes his way. One girl catches his attention, Chloe there is just something about her that draws him in.
Chloe Jenner is sweet and has very limited experience when it comes to the men. She is in a serious relationship but can't stop the feelings that flood her brain and body when she is in close proximity with Gibson.
Years later...you will have to read to find out. I hate spoilers so I'm not going to write any. I will say I fell for Gibson early, his manwhorish ways did not stop me at all from wanting more of him.(I think that just added to his appeal) I just had this feeling that there was more to him than meets the eye and I wanted to know every detail. My feelings about Chloe shifted quite a bit from pity to utter frustration then onto happiness. She was very fickle but I understood why.
The book is told in dual POVs and I loved both sides of this story. I must admit I loved being inside Gibson's head a little bit more and it just made me fall even harder for him. There is plenty of steaminess in the read as well, not too much but just the right amount. There is a cliffhanger but it leaves off at a good stopping point but you will still be wanting the next one ASAP! Overall fantastic read as I thought it would be. If you haven't read any of K.L. Shandwick's books then your totally missing out.

Wow.. I really LOVED this book!! On to the character reviews...
Chloe is an amazing young woman that is smart, beautiful and loyal to those she loves. She is educated and bright but that doesn't always help you in situations of abuse. Being with her high school sweetheart, Kace and spending seven years together should have been everything it started out to be right? Nope... Her innocence was ripped away and she was left raw by the only man she had ever given herself to. Only then did her grandfather that has been dead since she was a child, save her from her misery.
Gibson is a sexy lead for the band M3rcy. He is a rock god to girls locally and some not locally. Gibson was also a sex god and made sure to show all the ladies he chose exactly what that meant. Chloe has witnessed this several times and she was inbedded in his brain forever. As he became successful world wide he still hasnt forgotten about Chloe. Although life was awesome on the road he really yearned for something more stable but it will be long before that will happen or so he thought...
This book was such a crazy turn of events that you really are hooked from the first chapter. I am really looking forward to reading more of K.L.'s work. Five heart pounding stars have been granted :)

I have never read K.L Shandwick before, and with that being said, where have I been?! I LOVED Gibson's Legacy and her writing!
Gibson Barclay is a famous rock star that is always in the news. He has seen and done it all and makes no excuses for his behavior to anyone. He answers to no one, and doesn't get told no very often. Chloe Jenner is the one girl that never fell at his feet. They met before he was famous, and while she thinks he's hot and even fantasizes about him, she won't mess with him because she doesn't think he will even notice a girl like her. She also refuses to be one of his cast off groupies. When fate steps in 7 years later, Chloe and Gibson meet again and the fun really gets started.
K.L had me on the edge of my seat through out the whole book. Will they or won't they kept me up all night reading until I was finished with this book. Gibson is hot and while for a while, I thought he was cold, it turns out that Gibson has a heart deep down and Chloe brings it out. The chemistry between these two is off the charts HOT! I felt every emotion that Chloe went through in this story. K.L's writing is easy, very addicting to read, and I CANNOT wait for the next book in this series to come out! I recommend this to everyone!

Wow! Where to start? This book was hot with a capital H! Gibson rose to fame at 19 and hasn’t stopped since. He has a f*** ‘em and chuck ‘em attitude to women until Chloe. He hasn’t got her out of his head since he last saw her 5 years ago. Chloe has secretly always fantasised about spending one night with Gibson but being in a relationship with Kace, put a stop to anything happening. 5 years later, and Chloe meets Gibson again, not before talking to Paul on the phone, its a wrong number... I adored the two main characters, Chloe’s distrust of Gibson when she met him again and Gibson’s underlying vulnerability made the story. I loved Chloe despite her annoying me at some points where Gibson was concerned. I hated her constantly second guessing Gibson’s motives. I loved reading Gibson’s POV as I really got a feel for him. Gibson bent over backwards to make sure Chloe was happy and it felt like nothing he did would ever be good enough. This book had the hottest phone sex scene I have ever read, I am still replaying it in my head. An absolute scorcher of a book so 5 stars from me!

I received this for an honest review... This is the first book I have read by K.L and I can absolutely say it will not be the last... This book pulled all of my emotions all over the place (so much that it has taken me days to be able to write this review) Gibson and Chloe meet in a college bar where Chloe works and Gibson plays with his band. They have this instant attraction to each but neither wants to admit it. Chloe catches Gibson multiple times having sex with randoms and Chloe is just always on his radar. Then they go their separate ways. Gibson to Fame and Fortune and Chloe moves in with College love. A few years later they connect over a wrong phone number call.
This is one of those books that just pulls you in and keeps you interested in the story... I feel like I am emotionally invested in this book now and will be on pins and needles until the next one in the series comes out.. Just like any good series book it leaves you with lots of questions at the end.....

First let me just say WOW!!!! This is an amazing book. Gibson Barclay is one hot rock star. His band M3rcy plays at a local college bar. Chloe works there and has encountered him and a groupie one too many times. Gibson not being shy continues his workouts every time while an embarrassed Chloe runs and hides. Sometimes the strangest things happen for a reason. Chloe and Gibson’s story definitely that. This book will tug on your heart strings and get you hot and bothered. KL Shandwick has created a hot rock star for everyone’s enjoyment. It is impossible to not fall for Gibson and feel Chloe’s pain and fear. A well written story about fame, love, heartbreak, and things that sometimes are just meant to be.Gibson's Legacy

I received Gibson’s Legacy by K.L Shandwick as an Arc. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I loved it. Right from the beginning you could feel the attraction between Chloe and Gibson. Chloe worked at the bar that Gibson sang at but they weren’t friends and Chloe always had a knack for catching him in compromising positions. Gibson gets his big break and is gone. Jump ahead five years and Chloe is getting out of a bad situation and Gibson makes a wrong phone call and they are reconnected. You have to read this book to see all that they go through and how Gibson tries to get people to see past what he was. I give this book 5 stars and cannot wait for the next to come out. This book is very steamy and is a cliffhanger so beware.

Gibson is a fresh and up coming lead singer in an amazing band! But his young character takes what every up and coming rock star does, as many woman as he can get! Until he sees the one girl who makes him feel all kinds of different. Chloe is a college student who works in a bar that her favorite band plays in, she has a silent crush on the lead singer but can't bring herself to interact with him! She's in a relationship with her high school sweetheart and loves him! But to what cost! Years goes by and things happen to Chloe that she never thought would happen. Eventually she gets the opening she needs and leaves. The things start to change for her again with one answer of her phone! Do you believe in fate? I can't wait to read more of these to characters story! Amazing read!

Chloe is a strong lady for leaving her abusive husband and making a new life for her self. She learns to trust her heart and let her past go with the help of Gibson. I love the fact that fate brings Gibson back in to her life, when they both needed it the most. My favorite scene in the book is when she lets her guard down and takes that first chance with him, by having phone sex. It was smokin hot. When they finally got together she kept pushing him away. I wanted to scream at her fuck that hot man and take a chance already. This book had me spellbound and I had to know what happened next. I am excited to see what new adventures are in store for Gibson and Chloe.

Loved this! A really great read. I Highly recommend you pre-order/read this book.
I fell in love with Gibson right from meeting him, there's just something about him that's so bad boy alpha like that is pretty addicting. This book does touch on a very hard subject to write about and I think it's written with care. I can not wait for the next book to come out to read more and get my Gibson fix!

I really enjoyed this story. There is more to it than your typical girl is crazy over hot rock star romance. There is so much more to the story and I really like how Gibson is a great guy hidden under his bad boy persona. He does have his issues and demons to fight but he has good reasons. Chloe is a sweet girl who loves and trust with her whole heart. At least she use to. When her high school sweetheart turns into someone she doesn't know it about breaks her. She decides to get away and start over. Fate brings her back to Gibson. These two seem to save each other. I am looking forward to the next book in the series to find out what happens next since we are left on a cliff! Great job by the author! I did notice all of the authors use of British terms but it didn't change my opinion of the story....to me it just added more character to it.

Gibson's Legacy is my first read of K.L. Shandwick and I was not disappointed. Gibson's Legacy was full of everything; it was funny, hot and sexy and wow, did it make me cry! (Do not share that with anyone, I will deny it.) ;) When you want to step into a book and strangle a character or wave your hands in the air and scream, "I'll love you!" you know that it's a good book. K.L.'s writing style was easy to read and the story flowed effortlessly. I really enjoyed the duo POV, it was really insightful and you get to see how each character feels towards certain events. I would recommend Gibson's Legacy to all readers. Thank you for a wonderful read K.L.!

I love this book and I want more! I was not ready for this book to end..
