This is the a superb book for anyone involved in the web business, or anyone thinking about building a website for theirs. Mark's models and ideas are spot on. I've been involved in many web projects and his philosophy is the right way to go. You just have to look at Mark's own website at Newfangled Web to know they are absolute thought leaders in this field.

I love the style and structure of the writing and the simple clear diagrams too. This is a very high quality self-published book.

I am a raving fan and recommend it to all my clients. It's written for marketing agencies but the ideas apply to any website. It works!

If there's one book you should read before building your website it's this one.

Content first, and foremost, then design.

Now the book takes the stance that you're working in the advertising industry but the examples and context stated can be applied across various platforms and industries.

I highly recommend.

Clearly explained, logical steps toward creating a smart website. A must read if you are in marketing and website production. Probably best for those who do not have a huge amount of experience just yet in the field. Great reference book for your office.

It's not that it's a bad book. In fact, it's a good primer on how to build a website in a logical manner. If you already have some experience of building websites however you'll not learn too many new tricks.
