Practical Programming in Tcl and Tk

Rate this book
Tel/Tk 8.1 is the industry's first scripting language that can handle enterprise-wide integration tasks and can run across multiple operating systems (from Windows to Solaris to Mac). In this fully revised and updated third edition Welch covers the new features and functionality of Tel/Tk 8.1, along with internationalization issues in Tel, and thread support. Welch also provides key coverage of the Tel Web Server -- an embeddable and extensible Web server written in Tel. This new Web server is much faster than a standard Web server because you don't need a CGI interface to program it. The accompanying CD-ROM includes a copy of the Tel Web Server, a collection of Tel software and all code examples from the book.
