Draven James is a journalist from NYC who ends up in Addersfield, RI in search of answers to the questions he has about his mother. After her passing he finds his mothers old journals in them he finds out she is a witch and she lost her magic in the town she grew up in. When Draven arrives to Addersfield, he falls quickly for a small town lady that own a magical bakery. He soon realizes magic is all around him…

What To Expect-
🍪Super Cute Small Town
🍪Witchy Romance
🍪Cozy Bakery Vibes
🍪Disability Representation
🍪Insta - Love
🌶️🌶️.5

My Thoughts-
I feel like this was an underdeveloped story. It had sooo much potential that I think it fell flat and tad bit rushed. Dont get me wrong there was definitely cute moments in this book. And it does touch on grief, trust and betrayal. I was just left with wanting more with each chapter. Also the insta love and then just hooking up was a little cheesy to me, but some people love that.

Overall-
This is a quick fall book, I would recommend to the right audience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars rounded up. The first half of this book feels like Hocus Pocus, the second half feels like 50 Shades of Pumpkin Spice, but I’m not mad at it? If you are looking for a cozy fall read, I would go into that knowing that this book is definitely spicier than you’d expect it to be, but that isn’t totally clear until about halfway through. It’s a quick, fun fall read that feels at times a bit disconnected in theme/genre but overall I would recommend it to kick off your spooky season (just make sure to pack headphones if you are listening to it like I did!).

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ARC of this book in exchange for the honest feedback and review.

I reaaaallly wanted to like this book, truly. Especially since it's the start of spooky season and a witchy romance is just what the doctor ordered.

But in fact, I loathed it. Every chapter kept me wanting to crash the app and DNF. The MMC was absolutely vile and annoying. There were moments where it was clear the author was trying to redeem him and make him lovable, but in the next chapter, we'd get his POV that he was truly just tricking everyone and plotting to try to ruin their lives... like bro, come on. GO TO THERAPY.

On top of that, the pacing felt so rushed and the dreaded insta-love came into play when we were doing so much telling and absolutely zero showing. "After all this time we've spent together--" WHAT TIME? Did I miss something?? I was so confused and even went back to check. I didn't miss anything.

The spice scenes were also kind of the worst. If an alien were to find this book, they'd think the human race only has one word for the female anatomy. That the word is cunt is highly disappointing. Further, there was no building of tension leading to the spice, so it really felt jarring. Like ooo we're at a festival woo and then omg they're fucking... Confusing and annoying. Like I love a good spice scene, trust. But these were not it.

In total, I think maybe this one needed a lot more time either at the drawing board or in the hands of a skilled editor. Regardless, hard pass on any future books from this series.

I really, really enjoyed this traditionally pubbed paranormal romance debut by a new to me author! Set in a magical small Rhode Island town that only those in the know can find, single mom Olivia is happily living life baking sweets for her fellow townsepeople. Things get shaken up though when Draven arrives - he has a secret connection to the town but has also been sent there from NYC to write an expose on the magical side of its residents.

This dual POV, steamy, next door neighbor, enemies to lovers romance had great disability rep (Olivia has cerebral palsy), emotional depth (Olivia grow up bouncing around foster homes and Draven lost his mom at a young age) plus plenty of SPICE!!! I actually wasn't quite expecting this one to be soo spicy but I was definitely here for it!

Great on audio narrated by Stacy Gonzalez, I loved that Olivia is Latine (her Mexican heritage is something she has only recently discovered) and that the Draven learns that he'd rather protect the town his mother came from than expose it to the world. Hot and full of heart, this was a fun read from start to finish and I definitely look forward to reading more by Adrianna Schuh in the future!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review! This is perfect for fans of authors like Ann Aguirre or Erin Sterling or anyone who enjoys a feel-good small town cozy paranormal romance!

Thanks to NetGalley and the author for providing me with an ALC of this novel.

Reading the synopsis, I felt like this would be a fun, cute book to start off spooky season! This book was so cute and innocent and then there were these random spicy scenes thrown in that felt jarring compared to the innocence of the remainder of the book and the story. And the author could only describe a woman’s lower anatomy as cunt.

I should’ve DNF’d but I turned the audio on 2x and managed to finish it. The story was completely rushed and the characters were saying I love you after like 2 dates? Also he barely apologized for acting like a total asshole and she still said she loves him? Then proposed like 2mo after that?

ARC REVIEW 📚🥰 thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this opportunity to read this book. I loved the audiobook. This book comes out Sept 17 of this year. For my Gilmore girls/ spooky fans this is a must. I loved that Olivia runs a bakery in their small town that is a sanctuary for witches. She built this sweet little life for herself in a town where everyone cares about the other until Draven James enters the story. The perfect life she had comes crumbling down as he slowly starts making his way into the picture. Looks can be deceiving as she falls more for him the more you learn more about the secrets he's been hiding. Highly recommend

Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book!

I am a huge fan of all the tropes present in this book, but the execution just felt very middle of the road. It was fine, but lacked conviction or anything really interesting about the writing. The most important defining moments felt glossed over and often I felt myself reverting back to skimming.

That being said, it was good. Just good though. I was so drawn in by the cover and I love a paranormal romance in the midst of spooky season. Like I mentioned, all the variables are there they just felt dull to me. I hope it’s different for other readers though, I really wanted to love this one but just couldn’t connect to any of the characters.

This is a super cute small-town, witchy romance that features a character with amazing disability representation. The setting and world building were good but not super original. I felt like the magical elements were a bit lacklustre, since they felt mainly baking related. At least they were true to the FMC who is a baker, but they didn’t really line up with any other characters which made that aspect less believable for me. Again, I felt like I ended up skimming parts to “get to the good part” so I might have just missed something and the good parts were just meh for me.

This is still worth recommending if it sounds like your cup of tea, it just sadly wasn’t for me.

NoTYSM to NetGalley and publishers for the audiobook ARC!

I thought this was gonna be a great spooky read, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. Or magical coffee.

Olivia is a single mom that owns a magical bakery, a witch haven, that makes magical goodies. She's got cerebral palsy, raised in orphanages and with foster parents. Olivia's magic is very... Chaotic and linked to her feelings.

Enter... Draven James, the boy next door. The mysterious "stranger" when strangers nearly never come to Addersfield. He begins to write a story on the secret town, promising his boss a big story.

Olivia is immediately suspicious. Despite mistrusting her gut instinct that something was up, she begins to fall for him. Quickly.

Addersfield is a small charming picturesque town by the ocean, full of witches and magic but not mentioned much outside the fair scene. Are there no warlocks? Why wouldn't Olivia's son have magic? Or Draven and his brothers?

The narrator sounds like a forty year old woman (I get maybe Olivia was supposed to be older) but while she narrates Olivia and Jill, I honestly had a hard time getting through the audiobook. Jill and Parker and a lot of the side characters were immediately obsessed with Draven. The women were super boy crazy for being middle aged. They were unhealthily OBSESSED.

Their fights were so sucky and heartbreaking. Draven was acting super entitled to magic and super defensive of his Dad who left after trying to steal his mom's magic, he's also really selfish. Then, after she left town, he wondered why the people of Addersfield had stopped helping her.

Overall, I think it was a decent witchy read, but I wish I was able to get into it more.

Olivia Ayala runs a small-town bakery in Addersfield, a sanctuary for witches. As an independent single mom who has cerebral palsy and as a powerful witch, she has built a life of calm and sweetness for herself and her son. Yet, a quiet loneliness lingers beneath her contentment.

Enter Draven James, charming, annoyingly handsome, and mysteriously able to find their hidden town. His arrival disrupts Olivia's peace, igniting a spark she didn't know was missing. Draven's easy smile and enigmatic secrets cast a new spell over her life, tempting Olivia with the promise of a love as wild and unpredictable as magic itself.

But things are not as they seem. As Olivia falls deeper under Draven's enchanting influence, questions arise. Draven hides secrets behind his charismatic exterior. His mysterious past could endanger their safe haven and the future Olivia dreams of.

I read this book in the middle of summer, and it even helped me survive the intense heat. The book is adorable, perfect for rainy autumn evenings. Olivia comes across as a strong and powerful witch from the beginning, seemingly unable to dive into romantic waters. But, of course, as soon as Draven arrived, the magic was felt in the air, and it definitely changed her.

Although the book features a misunderstanding trope for most of the story, with many secrets hidden from each other, they still can't live without one another. Their love is depicted in a very sweet way, showing their beginning and getting to know each other's past and magic. There were parts of the book where I didn't like Draven, he perhaps overcomplicated things and some of the situations they found themselves in. I also really liked the character Daniel (Olivia's son), a sarcastic, lovable boy.

I liked that the book is written in the third person and is well-developed enough to understand what's happening and what Olivia and Draven think and want.

The book has a perfect Gilmore Girls vibe from the very beginning, set in a small town where everyone cares for each other, with the addition of magic, simply adorable. I recommend everyone to read the book, you will love it, it's simple, easy, fast paced and quick to read. Oh, I really want donuts and hot chocolate now, which goes perfectly with this book. Also, I want a book about Parker and Lucas. Enjoy!

This audiobook was made available for me to listen to and review by Adriana Schuh, Dreamscape Media, and NetGalley.

This audiobook is narrated by Stacy Gonzalez. Stacey did a great job with this narration. I liked her use of accents to differentiate between characters. Stacey was able to convey quite a bit of emotion with her voice, which worked well for this story. I also thought the explicit scenes were handled well. Sometimes, those scenes can feel overdone or silly with narration.

This is a sexy, witchy love story right in time for fall. I would describe this as a cozy romance set in a magical, invisible town in picturesque Rhode Island. It has the feel of a cozy with the small town full of quirky characters and witches. Olivia is a single mom with a disability and a business. She runs the town bakery and has a stunning garden. Draven is a hard-hitting big city journalist who recently lost his mom. This has a touch of a Hallmark movie with the romance interest from a big city who has been too career focused to find love or start a family. I actually think this would be a delightful Hallmark Movie Network production.

There's a bit of unnecessary drama that feels like it doesn't quite fit the story. It feels forced and inauthentic. This has a bit of an instalove vibe, and I think the author added extra drama to have action in the story. Still, I liked this quite a bit and plan to read the sequel. I assume the first in a series, as by the end of this book, another cute couple is on the horizon.

Thank you to Adriana Schuh, Dreamscape Media, and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to and review this audiobook. All opinions and viewpoints expressed in this review are my own.

Magic In The Air is a cute and magical read, with delightful characters and such a  charming setting. This enchanting fantasy book is both sweet and spicy, perfectly balanced to create a beautiful romance.

Olivia Ayala lives in the small town of Addersfield, Rhode Island. This cozy town is special, not only because it is home to her and her son, but because it is home to many other witches like herself. Olivia runs Sugars Spells Bakery with her partner and close friend Jill. These two, along with their other friend, Parker, protect Addersfield and all the magic that flows through the town.

Draven James is a journalist from NYC who ends up in Addersfield in search of answers to the questions he has about his mother. It wasn't until his mother died that he found out she was a witch, and unfortunately, one who had lost her magic after attempting to share it with someone.  Addersfield has been his mother's home, and Draven feels the people of the town have failed his mother after she lost her magic and wants them to pay. He believes magic is the cause of all his problems, and if he can expose magic, better yet, destroy it, he will get his revenge. What Draven did not plan on, however, was to fall in love. When he meets Olivia, sparks fly, and it is the start of an internal battle within Draven. As bad as he wants to expose witches and magic, he also wants to win over Olivia, who has also sworn off love after she was rejected by her son's father for being a witch. Olivia, however, has her suspicions and knows she can not trust Draven, but she is not quite sure why.

This is a story of dealing with grief, the power of strength and love, as well as trust and betrayal. Draven and Olivia share an instant bond, but both have their secrets. It is not made any easier with Olivia having cerebral palsy. She is used to rejection, judgment, and being disappointed, and as a result, she always has her guard up. Draven is grieving, and it is hard for him to see anything but hate.

I loved watching both Draven and Olivia learn to be truthful and transparent and come to trust each other. The spice is definitely, however I felt the romance could have used a bit more building. The story also felt flat a lot of the time, dragging on a little more than I would have liked. The first half had a lot of constant comparison, with Olivia comparing Draven to her son's father and Draven comparing himself to Olivia's son, Daniel. It was a lot of comparison, and when we finally got past it, there was a lot of spice. A little too much in my opinion, considering how under-developed the story itself felt. The ending, however, was lovely! I love a well-deserved happy ending, which both Draven and Olivia got!

Thank you NetGalley, Rising Action Publishing, and Adrianna Schuh for such a magical ARC!

Magic in the Air by Adrianna Schuh was a 2.75 or 3/5 star read for me.

The cover instantly captivated me and I adore witchy books so I was super excited to request this on NetGalley (thank you!). There are both good and bad things I personally found with this book. Starting with the good - our main fmc has Cerebal Palsy AND is a single mom. This book also has Latina rep and dives into that culture a bit. I adored seeing all of those things represented appropriately and talked about in a book. We follow along the story of Olivia who is a witch. She lives in a super small, low-key town where magic is allowed to be safely practiced regularly. This reminded me a bit of the ex hex and spookily yours with this aspect. Olivia works at a amazing bakery in town and has a super sweet son. She has her guard up due to her past relationship and in comes Draven, our mmc. He whirls into town and causes a stir with his bold questions. He has a past he needs answers to which led him back to this sleepy small town.

lets chat about a few of the things I didn't like,It's written in third person POV which doesn't usually bother me too much. However, I do feel the way this one was structured was confusing to the reader. There are a lot of side characters who are in regular conversation with the two main characters and the dialogue was confusing during conversations between them. I found myself having to reread the same page or paragraph again a lot to understand who was talking when. The other problem I found with this book was that the two main characters had zero chemistry. Draven, a stranger, shows up in town prying for answers. They run into each other literally like twice and then all the sudden its end game with no sparks??? It felt awkward to read their interactions at times and just overall couldn’t really connect with any of the characters.

Fun read for specifically the summerween season!

Thank you so much to Dreamscape Media for the early audiobook of Magic in the Air!

Magic in the Air has a fantastic cast of characters & I adored them all.. except one — the male lead. The “redeemable actions” didn’t do much in helping me like him and I just.. feel like the relationship aspect could have been better & since this is a romance that strongly effects how I feel about the book as a whole.

I did enjoy the witchy aspects though & the cozy feels of being in a witchy town, however there was nothing that necessarily sticks out & separates this from other witchy romances.

I did like the audiobook narrator though! Her heavy emphasis on words & her small laughs throughout made it feel like she really enjoyed narrating this one which made the listening experience good!

This was such a cute and cozy paranormal romance with a bit of spice. It’s the perfect book for spooky season, if you enjoy reading books about witches. It gave me once upon a time vibes with how the town was protected by magic, I really liked that whole concept.

2.5 stars. Would’ve been 3 if I liked Draven. A Latina FMC with cerebral palsy! Such a cool bit of representation, but the storyline just didn’t do it for me. We learn so early on that Olivia is slow to trust, yet when we know Draven is clearly not trustworthy, she sleeps with him with no protection shortly after meeting?! Not to mention him immediately meeting her son, being let into the magic world, and family secrets. This all would’ve been fine if such an emphasis hadn’t been placed on her being slow to warmup. Olivia fell head over heels way too quick.

I don’t like Draven and I didn’t want these two to end up together. He’s so selfish and remains that way until the end!

The smutty scenes honestly just didn’t match the relationship and felt like they were completely didn’t characters. Him sleeping with her when his intentions were bad did not make me enjoy this book!

Draven acted insane then had the audacity to call it all fate? The he mansplained how they should keep their town safe after he was the one who tried to jeopardize it?

Didn’t enjoy this as a book, but the audiobook quality was great! Dual pov, but only one narrator which isn’t usually my cup of tea, but I didn’t mind it here.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Introducing your new fav witch; Olivia. A single mom and Latin witch who doesn’t let her Cerebral Palsy slow her down; she’s known for whipping up delicious treats at her bakery in her small town that’s known for magic. But when Draven, a handsome stranger enters town Olivia starts to question what his real reasons for entering town really are?

Hands down this is going to be a fall favourite. I absolutely loved the bad assery that is Olivia’s character. I loved all of the representation and not once did I feel like the author was trying to do too much. There was soooo much female empowerment and I just wanted to cue up Shania Twain (let’s go girls). That being said I also loved Draven’s character and really rooted for the two together. While they obviously had secrets between each other there was still so much room for open communication and for once the two main characters actually had that!! No frustrating miscommunication here!

This one got Spicy and quite vulgar/ descriptive at times but I’m so glad that it didn’t take away from the story.

Loved the narrator and I could just feel the magic in the air (see what I did there ) while listening!

Thanks to netgalley for my advanced listening copy! Put this one on your fall TBR!

Debut novel releasing September 17th, a perfect small town witchy read for spooky season!

I really enjoyed this audio book! Small town charm, with amazing friendships and Magic? Olivia is a bakery owner, where she puts some extra ✨ charms ✨ in her goodies! Shes a single mom and has sworn off love after a harsh breakup with an ex.

Draven comes into town following a lead of his mothers origin to the town. He has the get in, and get out approach but it definitely doesn’t go as planned.

Draven and Olivia have an insta draw to each other. I loved watching these two discover pieces of themselves together. There is open door and there may or may not be some fun spicy scenes 🤭 🎡! Don’t skip this one on your fall TBR!

This audio was so much fun, thank you @dreamscape_media , @authoraschuh for a chance to listen to this early in exchange of an honest review!

2.5 True Rating | I feel bad leaving this negative review, but I just didn’t like this book.
It was a cute, small town, Mexican American, disability visibility, single mom romance so I wanted to like it but it… It just wasn’t for me and I wish it was.

HOWEVER, I think the author shows promise and I’d still read another by her in the future. The banter between the friends was incredible and honestly held this book together for me. I’d love to see more of that type of dialogue be consistent in the next book.

CHARACTERS
❤️ I loved the inclusion of the Mexican elements and connected to many of those. Also loved that she’s disabled and it does a good job of explaining who she is and why her personality/trust issues make sense. Very realistic.
💔 Sadly, the characters felt very inconsistent. Their emotions that should have been strong because they run deep… suddenly weren’t that deep when it came to the big “issues” the couple goes through. She has trust issues but then forgives him immediately. He hates magic and the town and then is like “wait, I love her and my mom. Nvm, sorry. Also you should protect the book and I want to help!” Like, no, I’d still be sus as hell about him. And I’d be mad! Even if she forgives him, her friends shouldn’t! He lied! He tried to ruin their own and lives and the LIVELIHOOD OF EVERYONE THEY LOVE. 😤
Also, their conversations are SO GOOD and banter-y when it’s friends talking but then so awkward and super formal when the couple talks, which could have been explained if he had a thought about being uncomfortable or nervous, but that wasn’t shared during the awkward dialogue.

PLOT
❤️ I loved the premise but not the execution of this plot.
The plot was this reporter who is mad at magic comes to the magic town and falls in love with the baker, Olivia, but he wants to destroy the town’s magic.
💔 The execution felt… rushed and awkward? Like the character’s actions didn’t line up with the plot but the plot moved forward so people’s decisions/actions/dialogue did one thing to get the plot back on track event thought it didn’t make sense. People got mad too quickly, people let go of life-long grudges and trust issues too quickly, and forgave too quickly, all to keep the plot on track. It wasn’t realistic.

ENDING
❤️ It was really cute ending and liked that they introduced a potential for a second book with other characters.
💔 The book went on for too long in my opinion and could’ve ended once the town is saved. We didn’t need the remaining 40 pages of how their relationship progressed and THEN an epilogue.
Although, the stuff before the epilogue could’ve been a great epilogue. Introduce new characters for the next book and leave us wanting more from the main couple.

**I received an advanced listening copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

This book is perfect for readers who enjoy an extra-spicy romance with a bit of magic in a Fall setting. Olivia lives in a small town that prevents anyone who does not know about the town or who does not have access to magic from visiting the town. This makes things complicated when the stranger Draven comes into town to write a book. Despite instant attraction, Olivia struggles with the reasons behind Draven showing up to town and if his visit brings danger to everyone.

I appreciate that Olivia is a diverse main character--a Latina who lives with cerebral palsy. As the novel progresses, the reader sees how these elements impact her life. There are echoes of loss in the novel as well, with both Olivia and Draven experiencing difficult childhood situations and the loss of trust with loved ones. Despite this, I never warmed to Draven, and as he gradually explains his reasons for his appearance in town, I never quite grasped his sincerity. Trigger warnings for domination during romance.

The voice narration by Gonzalez somewhat detracts from my reading of the book, and it makes me think I am not necessarily the target audience for the audio. Throughout the story, extra emphasis and enthusiastic inflections are presented in sentences, and I found that a little distracting from the narrative. Other than this observation, the characters have their own unique voice, so I could easily tell who was speaking during this.

A quick read just in time for the spooky season.

I’m all for a good representation story. I loved the cp rep but I had to DNF 18% in because of the instant romance and woe is me narration. Single mom divorced because partner didn’t accept magic and our kid plus a medical condition and abandonment issues while I’m sure are very relatable to some, felt exhausting to read about. As someone who’s been through some of those myself I found it more tiring to hear about it all piled onto the story in the first couple chapters. It didn’t feel like it helped me relate to the character instead I felt like it was exhausting to get to know her and like her.

I'm not sure what to make of this, because I loved Olivia and the small town setting and the witchy vibes. But wow, did I hate Draven. Which is kind of a problem in a romance novel, because I ended up not wanting them to be together at all. This man has let his bitterness and jealousy fester for so long that it's turned him into a villain, yet he's also still the love interest? I really didn't see the romance of it. I'm still giving this 3 stars because I did enjoy everything else.

I wanted to like this one so much because I just absolutely love fall but this one missed the mark for me. It felt forced in a lot of places and the romantic scenes felt especially forced. There was a lot going on with also nothing going on, if that makes sense. It also seemed like the MMC was really just too much drama and I really didn’t love his character.

I'm not finished yet, but I don't care. It's bad.
Ridiculous characters that read like shallow school children, from the women's behaviour and reaction to the MMC to his tortured villainous plan. Everything is rushed, the instalove (lust, tbh) is on par with some YA books; the sex scenes unpleasantly clash with the giggly, sickly sweet narrative. The barely there autumn vibes couldn't save it for me.
I'm 85% in, and I doubt that anything that may happen in this book onwards will change how I feel about it.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This book definitely had all the fall vibes which was great and I enjoyed them. I do wish the magic would have been explored a bit more and been more present in the book. I hated Draven for most of the book as he was such a whiny, oh woe is me, character and that made me hate him. This was pretty spicy which I did not anticipate, but it was well done. Overall I enjoyed the vibes and how quick of a read this book was.

A cozy read. Great little magical town. There are many elements that would make a good story.

The numerous intersections may be why things felt rushed or incomplete. The MMC was so harsh and irrational. His redemption felt like a leap.

Might read the next book in the series. I hope the next one is better developed.

I DNF'd this one at 10%

Sounded good until I got to the male's pov, I just didn't like him and the antagonistic attitude about how he would uncover the town. I could see the possible conflict coming already. And I just didn't feel like reading more after that.

The last quarter of this book bumped it up to 3 stars for me. It was a good plot line, very fitting for this time of year and it kept me entertained. Not my absolute favourite but kept me entertained.

Olivia Ayala is a witch who grew up not knowing it. Between that and her cerebral palsy, she had a tough life before finding the magical town of Addersfield, Rhode Island, and forming her new family. Now, she'd do anything to defend it, even doubt her instincts and attraction to the handsome new stranger who she's sure is not telling the whole truth. Draven James arrives in town on a mission to avenge a wrong done to his mother, but the town is nothing like what he imagined and Olivia is making him want to forget revenge and enjoy life. Can the two find happiness underneath all their secrets?

I'm giving this one forward-leaning 3.5 stars because it's a great idea and has some good moments, but it felt like Schuh was shoehorning drama into a story that didn't need it as much. I got the feeling that both Olivia's and Draven's trauma was getting pushed on me as if I had forgotten about it after a few chapters especially since there are some great moments of finding joy in little things and family and friends that I would have loved to get more of instead of the drama.

Otherwise, it's a fun story with lots of little nuggets to enjoy and some very steamy fun. Olivia is a little neurotic at times, but it's totally understandable for her to be like that and it makes her letting loose with Draven even better. Meanwhile, Draven is a little too good to be real even with his secret motives, but he's perfect for Olivia and lots of things are forgiven in romance when it works for the story.

The narration by Stacy Gonzalez is solid, with characters being super easy to tell apart and emotions coming through nice and clear. I love it when you can tell who's speaking just from the narrator's tone.

Very happy thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the fun read/listen!
