ARC REVIEW.

My oh my... this was a super quick read & I'm sad it came to an end! Again, it's not a usual read of mine, but I will be reading the rest of the series once released and looking out for more books of this kind.

My Silent Demon is well written, and the authors descriptive writing makes this hot and spicy book even more of a captivating page turner.

This, for me, is a MUST-READ.

A super quick paranormal read!

I’m not one to read a lot of paranormal romance novels, but who knew demons are my thing?! Now I want to go down a paranormal rabbit hole!

A.D Craig did amazing with this book. Magdalene “N” is attending college for her degree and there’s a lot of murders happening. She meets Wynn, Onyx (Wynn’s boyfriend) and Osian (Onyx’s brother) through school, but not everything is as it seems with the brothers.

I loved the storyline of the story. Following N and Osian as she learns the truth about him and learns they’re fated mates (how romantic right?) I loved how the brothers were protective of their mates and that the girls can love them in both their human and demon form. The spice was hot! 4/5 stars for me, especially with the tail scenes. OMG! If you love a quick read, with spice and plot twists, you need to read this!

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Magdelene has been having disturbing dreams and one man is always in them, Osian. Osian is the strong silent type, really. He doesn’t speak but somehow Magdelene hears him.

Osian is a very protective demon. He loves and cherishes his mate.
These boys, Osian and his brother Onyx, are brutal, they are demons of course. 😈 Which makes them very dangerous when you target one of their girls.

You’ve got fated mates, spicy 🌶️🌶️ time with some 🩸play, tail play and demon 🍆. 🫠
This is book 2 in the series and book 1 is My Guardian Demon. ( Wynn and Onyx )

A terrific quick love story if your looking for some danger + demon + spicy 🥵

Read this fast paced, spicy novella to find out about this sassy red head and her demon 😈

The only thing that would have made it better was him verbally saying I love you to N.

This is the second book to My Guardian Demon and I would suggest reading that one first since the MMC in this one is in the first book as a sort of secondary character so you get to know him quite a bit in that book. This book like the first was a fun quick read, this one I will say is a bit spicier than the first one. I’m definitely looking forward to reading the third book when it comes out, My Irresistible Demon.

Fell into a trope hole

Well, any originality from book 1 poofed out of existence in this one. TSTL moments, flashing ahead weeks at a time, badly written kink, there's still no world building, the characters did not evolve or develop at all, and the plot made no sense because the lack of world building. Honestly. Are the supes trying to stay hidden or are they just the unspoken about elephant in the room? Because there's no council, no regulatory group, and if a supe goes rogue who puts them down to keep the secret? The killer is leaving decidedly supernaturally caused corpses, and even deliberate human blindness isn't going to ignore 8 husked humans that came off a college campus. Where's the fed task force? Where's the good guy supes hunting for the one who'd expose them? Why doesn't Osian speak? He can, he doesn't. Unless he wants to. And then he doesn't again. No explanation. Supes have to outnumber humans for every human to have a guardian, angel or otherwise. And of they do have guardians why did so many die to the serial killer? So many plot holes there's barely a thread to hold this together.

Nice follow-up

So first, I want to say this is book two in the Demons series by AD Craig. The first is My Guardian Demon. It isn't exactly necessary to read the first book My Guardian Demon to understand My Silent Demon, but I would HIGHLY recommend reading in order. Why, you say? Well, you get more background on the demons, their life, the paranormal world, and such. Plus, you get to meet Osian and his background somewhat. And you get a brief meeting of Magdalene. Finally, Onyx and Wynn are big characters in My Silent Demon, so you get to understand their relationship. So seriously, go read My Guardian Demon first, then come back here to check out the second book.
Now, onto my review. I was really excited to get more background on Osian. He is really a sweet demon. You see this in his relationship with his brother Onyx and Wynn. We start off this story quickly and immediately start to build up Magdalene's relationship with Osian. Magdalene has been having strange dreams where she 'meets' a strange guy in a cabin after running (or being chased) in the woods. Magdalene is followed up to having breakfast with her acquaintance Wynn and boyfriend Onyx. We learn there have been missing campus students when Osian comes to visit them at the cafeteria. Magdalene also sees her dream savior in the flesh for the first time. From here, their lives intertwine with a friendship between Wynn, and a relationship is budding with Osian, all the while solving the mystery of the de@d students.

My takeaway is that this was a great follow-up, but I felt it missed the mark on a couple of things. First, I never really got a good reason on why Magdalene had this 'premonition dreams'. And Osian does not talk at all. But we do not get background on this. A flashback, past conversation on his life, or such would be great character building on Osian. And we get a brief mentioning on why Osian can transport his thoughts to Magdalene, but again, it was brief, and I felt more explanation would be good. It was just said that they think it is because she is Osian's fated, that she is adapted to fit what their relationship needs.

I am looking forward to the next book in the Demons Series. I wished we had gotten an introduction on this character in a passing interaction like we got with Magdalene in My Guardian Demon into My Silent Demon. But I enjoy the world this author has built and am still looking forward to this cambion babies from Wynn and Onyx!

Wow! Osian was absolutely adorable! Interesting to say as he is a demon, but he's amazing! I find the silent ones are usually the sweetest.

Magdalene has been having very strange dreams about someone always being there for her and protecting her. But she knows she has never met this person before. Imagine her surprise when it was Osian, the brother of Onyx, who we met in the first book. Initially she is super startled because she doesn't understand what is happening. Despite her initial shock she decides to get to know Osian better, even though he is silent a lot of the time.

Osian is so unsure of himself. He wants to be accepted for who he is but is unsure if Magdalene will accept him for being a demon. He is protective of her and even in revealing himself he shows he is caring and protective of her. He doesn't want anything to upset her, even himself. His inner monologue was a great insight into the kind of great individual he truly was.

There is a mystery going on in this book. A few students have been showing up de@d, which causes Osian and Onyx to be super protective of their loves ones. We have to try to figure out what the purpose of this unaliving is about and who is doing it.

Some of the scenes are spicy. We get some kinky knife and blood play which definitely enhances the spiciness of the storyline. This was definitely a great read and I will be following A.D. Craig for any new releases.

Super quick read, and book 2 in this series. I loved the world building in the first book of the series. This book didn’t quite have that, but it’s understood if you read the first book (so go do it… seriously!). Some spice, including some bl00d/kn!fe play.
Magdalene is a college student. Osian is a demon, and Onyx’s brother (we met him in book 1). Magdalene has dreams with this mysterious savior. She is introduced to Osian by Wynn (we also met her in book 1) after a series of supernatural deaths on campus. Osian doesn’t speak verbally (though there’s no reason stated in the book as to why he doesn’t), but he does communicate via signing and writing/typing. Imagine everyone’s surprise when Magdalene can understand him! The danger is still present. Can Osian save Magdalene and catch the killer in time?
I love this series! Super quick, hits of spice, fun stories. I love that these demons are only really morally grey because of their nature… they only pvn!sh and t0rtüre people who are inherently evil. They’re really sweethearts at their core. Dark elements, but I wouldn’t consider it a dark romance necessarily. There are TW in this book, though, so check them if you need to.

I am loving this short spicy supernatural series "Demons". It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the series.

N is new to school and doesnt have many friends. She starts hanging out with a few people but some of the things they say just feel off. Regardless of that she feels safe and accepted with them. She is drawn to one in particular Osian. She feels drawn to him and she is trying to piece together why.

Osian and his brother Onyx are demons. They are dangerous and dark and oh so sexy. Osian doesnt speak. He can he just chooses not to. When he meets N there is something oddly comforting about her for a human. He quickly finds himself extremely protective and possessive of her. He will do whatever he has to to keep her safe.

You absolutely need to read this series. Both books are short and super spicy. I love the dark edge they have as well as the humor.

This is magdalene(N)and osians story.
We 1st met osian in book 1 (my guardian demon)and i couldn't wait to read his story, well here it is and boy is it worth reading.
For a demon osian is so lovable,he was going to sacrifice his chance at love so he could make N safe and aware of things around her.
I loved that even though osian didnt speak they could communicate(read to find out how)
I also loved that onyx and wynn were in this story and my heart leaped and went Yes when osian did something he hadnt done since he was a child(sorry if it sounds cryptic but dont want to give it away).
Also one part made me laugh out loud so much with a scene regarding wynn and osian and his ear
Cant wait to read more from this author

OK, this is definitely one of those books that you wanna read when you just want smut with Just enough of a storyline. We get to meet Magdalene who is a young college student without a family. Just trying to get through school when suddenly someone goes on a murder spree in the college. She meets a man who she’s absolutely drawn too, and isn’t entirely sure why. Funny thing about him though is he doesn’t talk. His brother also living near the campus dating another college student (read the first book) named Wynn Befriend her this sparking the relationship between her and Osian. That’s part is he is a mute. By choice he eventually reveals to her that he is a demon and starts the series of events of their storyline. Definitely a good read would highly recommend.

My Silent Demon Review:

I gave this 4 stars 🌟
I enjoyed this book for a few reasons. The chemistry from one character to another was spot on. It had humor and sass. Love and confusion. It had supernatural and humans interconnecting into one world with a pinch of mystery. Though shorter than I wanted it to be, the pace was quick once you started right down to the end.
This book had a bit of everything, and it worked well.

My favorite was the spice 🌶  3.5- 4 level spice. I gave it a higher spice level because it truly was next level. Demons who know how to hit the right spot..... with a tail....or split tongue is a must-read  *winky face*
Overall, I really liked this story.

Book 2 of the Demons series is the story of Osian, a demon who does not speak, and Magdalene, a college freshman who has been dreaming of him for months. While everyone else communicates with Osian through sign language, Magdalene knows exactly what he is saying as she can hear him in her mind.

This is a quick spicy PRN romance has bl00d play, t0rt^r3 and unaliving. I am continuing to love the world this author has built. If you want a quick read to escape for a bit and like your book boyfriends to be a demon in bed and out, this book and series are for you.

Another stunning novella for A.D. Craig. This novella was just stunning in and of itself. It wasn't dragged out at all. There was no addition of any useless information. It was right to the point perfect.

The characters had depth and personality without being too much. The demons were spicy, kick-ass, yet sweet, protective beings.

I loved how there was no torture. That helped to make this a very enjoyable book.

The only thing I wish was different is that Osian would use his voice like he did when he was with his brother.

4 out of 5

I liked the storyline and all the characters but it feels like it’s missing something… I hope the author will offer bonus chapters or perhaps another book with the characters on more adventures and a future together. Perhaps they get married and have their demon babies etc while taking out more evil people/beings. That’s the only reason I’m giving it a four because it just needs more. Personally I’m hoping for another fourth book bringing the characters back Osian, N, Wynn, and Onyx! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

📚My Silent Demon by A. D. Craig📚

Book 5 ⭐️
Spice 4 ⭐️

Let's just say this book is 🥵. It has the demons, the spice, the whole nine. This is a well written book. Although short, it grabs you from the very beginning and jerks you in quickly, not letting you go. I was sad to see it end! I will be reading the next one!

DNF. I got to the part where she met Osian (ocean 🙄), a section was started as *five minutes earlier* and then decided they weren’t worth my time.

Writing was amateur. Character needs description for reader. So author puts “I looked in the mirror and wondered what people saw when they looked at me *describes edgy alt girl appearance* and then said fuck it, I don’t care what others think”. So contrived and obvious. And lame.

amazing quick read

So, I’d like to first say that I am not really a contemporary reader anymore. I tend to stick to the darker side of reading but demons are a weakness. This was such a cute little read. Osian was so sweet for a demon and that made me love him more. I definitely think everyone should give this a read, it’s also great for if you are in a reading slump and want something quick that perks you right back up!

Spicy and different in a great way

Usually when sign language is involved, it's a huge focus, but this was just part of the MMC. It made it interesting without being a huge focus.
I adore sweet demons.
I also read this one first in the series and I'm sure I would have felt more for the friends that you meet in the first one, it doesn't appear to be necessary to read them in order.
!!Check the triggers at the beginning!!

Good story!

I loved the continuation from book 1 to book 2. I love seeing the character development and love the touch her and dye* energy! I would have loved to get a little more background information about the characters to give their development a little more oomph. Besides that, this story was amazing.

DNF at chapter 2.

Somehow, this book has even shorter staccato sentences than the first. I was so looking forward to reading about this MMC and hoped the writing technique had improved from Book 1, but I can't move past the juvenile structure. 😕 It's just too mentally painful to read such choppy sentences/paragraphs.

Book#2

Enjoyed reading this book as well and the first one. Easy reads almost had it done in one day. Glad that Osian and Magdalene got their own story. I just would’ve liked an epilogue and for him to start speaking, like he used his voice when he went to find his brother, but then again that’s why it’s titled My Silent Demon.

Osian, the Silent one
Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2024
I expected Osian to be great and, of course, he was. I should have guessed Magdalene would be his fated but I didn't at the time. N was a perfect match for Osian. I love how they all become a family. I am a sucker for red fluid play so that was a wonderful bonus.
