Okayyy..
This was is by far my fave in the series..
let me just say this when war came ADRIA WAS A FREAKING BAD A*$ she is def a ride or die for you girl, she chose to stay, fight, possibly die with Joseph it took a lot of strength leaving their kids behind.
It made me tear towards the end.
Like B. Whyyyyy, why did you have to break my heart towards the end and then be like WTFFF and then still feel bad for Jonathon & Michael😩

I can’t wait for book four and see what becomes of both their kids!!

The way things played in this book has continued to leave me questioning what B. Shytle has in store for the next book. This book was full of unexpected twists and turns that left Adria even more confident and protective of Joseph and their family. I definitely need more from B. Shytle because that twist at the end still has me unwell!!!!

This was a rollercoaster.
Lots of spice, lots of drama and lots of twists. Poor Adria and Joseph can't catch a break, and now they have 2 sons to protect too. As they try to navigate family life with their mafia lifestyles, threats come at them from all angles. This is definitely a series that keeps you gripped from start to finish. And the ending??!?! All I can say is I'm glad there is an epilogue.

I want to write a review so great, you read this book series (this is book 3 and you HAVE to read the 1st 2 books) B...U...T....I don't know what to say that won't spoil anything.
First things first: it has a great story with lots of twists since the very 1st page of the very 1st book. I enjoyed it so much that I finished it in one day. Even the author, @brittanyshytle commented "holy balls" and "jfc" when she saw I finished this specific book in about 5 hours
Joseph, our MMC mafia boss, is strong, commanding and very protective. He will protect his til his very last breath, pinky promise. Adria, his "queen", is our plus size MFC. I normally don't care if a MFC is plus size or not but this series will really boost your confidence no matter your size.
One of my favorite quotes in this series is from Joseph who tells Adria "Stop looking at the ground. The dirty floor beneath your feet isn't worthy of such a beautiful gaze."
I know there are mixed reviews in the "dark romance" groups on plot vs spice but I feel like Brittany (the author) had a good amount of plot with some spiced mixed in in just the right spots. Book 3 felt a little spicier in my opinion.
In this book, we get to see Adria grow some balls pretty much and take a stand. She makes her presence and position known. We also get introduced to the "babies" and their significant roles in the family and for the future which will be some big shoes to fill.
War is coming and it is unstoppable. Will our characters fight for what they believe in or will they lose it all to the new man in charge of the Cartel? Read books 1-2 and finish with this one (coming soon!)

Wow! This book is the 3rd in the series and has so much going on I couldn’t put it down! I’ve loved seeing Adria & Joseph’s relationship deepen and grow throughout the books but seeing what they are prepared to sacrifice for each other in this book is beautiful. I also loved seeing the children as they grew up into men and how everything that has happened to them has shaped who they have become. The ending was truly heartbreaking and it’s only thanks to the bonus scenes it was able to be repaired. Fantastic series that has got better with each book!

Oh book 3 you didn't let me down! I devoured this book in just over 5 hours. It was more spicy than the first two but in a way that was realistic to the evolution of the relationship. It wasn't smut just for smut. I cried. The writing was on the wall and I knew what was coming so I cried on and off through the last 25% of the book. It was such a fun read and coved so much. Holy Time Jump though lol.
I am so sad its over and now there is waiting for the bonus scenes and for the next books!

Reasons I have rated this series so high:
*Thick/Curvy FMC - as a big girl it is nice to read about someone that is more like me, someone who thinks thoughts that I have thought. It is nice to have a body positive book that also allows you to know that sometimes you look in the mirror and see things you don't love but that your partner adores and there is healing in that.

*A devoted MMC - A man that is in love with her as she is. A man that will not tolerate her talking badly about herself. A man that take the things she hates the most and loves them and TELLS HER. A man that doesn't want her to change... only wants her to see herself as he sees her *swoon*

*A chosen family - A support system of people that are not blood family that would die to protect each other no matter what. It serves to remind the readers that your "family" is often times not your blood and that a chosen family can love you and fill the spaces left by those blood that should have been there. You are never truly alone.

This is book 3 of this series, and believe me, you'll need to read the first two before diving into this one. Shytle has delivered yet another action-packed book that will have you at the edge of your seat. It was a good amount of smut, but definitely with a good amount of plot. The twist and turns in this book will have you question, what did I get myself into? And the ending will leave you speechless. Well done, B.

I liked Adria's growth, but Joseph irks me.
What bothered me most was when his sister, whom he thought was dead, showed up again, and he didn't question it. I get happy that she's still alive, but to not have the 1st question be:"Where the f*ck were you all this time?!" - and to just accept a gift from her.. I just.. it could've been bugged!
I just feel that Joseph has been very sloppy over the course of these books and that others like Adria keep having to pick up his slack. I don't know. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the 1st two.

Oh this book! Oh this series!! Oh these characters!!!

This series was spectacular… totally consumed my life .. left me screaming at the author (in the best way possible) .. uncontrollably crying (once again!!!)… so many twists and turns … the way this relationship has grown and these two characters have dealt with The Cartel and the impending war is on point. The love, devotion, body positivity, every aspect is all perfect. Joseph is all encompassing and his queen Adria has blossomed to perfection.

Trying to be super careful and not leave any spoilers here. I desperately need the bonus scenes and Book 4 … please … please … please.

This was the spiciest book so far and it was brilliant .. it definitely hit all the right spots 😍. This series is 5⭐️ with 4🌶️ and the tears that I have cried over this series would fill a river.

Do You Still Pinky Promise is Book 3 in The Mafia Promise Series …. You absolutely MUST read the first two books. If you love Mafia you will not regret this decision.

I can officially say I'm OBSESSED WITH B.

WHAT A WAY TO END the third book to this incredible mafia series.
The storyline, the plot twists, Joseph & Adria, these kids. I honestly can say I have no clear idea of how the rest of this story will play out with book 4. Brittany kept me guessing from start to finish and knowing her, she has more plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat with the next book.

The growth of Adria and Joseph in book 3 outshines their growth from books 1 and 2 combined. They really are an unstoppable force of nature together. I loved Joseph's dedication to his family, to Adria and to winning this war. You can understand the meaning with the "pinky promises" throughout the series. With everything they have had to face together, they still put their connection on the line, sacrificing their love for each other, and still make it out on top every single time. The spice wasn't just spice (it was hot of course, but meant so much more than just some spice here, there and everywhere). The way this book had me crying towards the end was illegal, but I can say Britt is definitely on the top of my author list for writing mafia romances that are well layered, has more depth and true connections. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR BOOK 4!

Adriana and Joseph.

This is a continuation of their story. They ended up getting married in this one. The boys were one year old at this time. They went to Italy for their honeymoon. They took the boys with them to Italy. They also had their nanny Jenny with them. She was George’s daughter. She really wanted Joseph so she kept flirting with him but he ignored it. One night when he and Adriana came back to hotel there was a note on the bedside table for Joesph that said meet me at midnight. She showed it to Adriana and they made a plan. Joseph went to living room and had a drink. Jenny came out and climbed on his lap. He didn’t do anything and so Adriana came out and pulled her off of him and threw her out of the hotel and told her to go home. When they got back there was drama with George (long time family friend). So they set up a meeting and George was mad because Jenny told him something different than what actually happened. One night Joseph was sleeping and Jenny walked in their home and threatened Adriana and told her that Joseph was promised to her and Adriana ruined it all. A lot took place in the book and it was so good. This ends on a cliffhanger.

Book 3 of The Mafia Promise series takes place several years after Book 2 ends and it is just as good as the first two books. That ending was shocking!

There are more twists, turns and betrayals in this installment of Adria and Joseph’s story. The action was just as intense and the smexy times were just as hot. This couple has been through so much, but it just makes them stronger. Joseph’s love and devotion to Adria is in every action he makes and words he says. Adria has grown so much from the first book and is truly the queen Joseph needs in his world without losing her sense of self.

Amazing book with a fantastic plot. I liked how the story moved forward through the years as the book progressed. You get to see how the characters are grown and changed. Plus, you get see how close Heidi and Leo remain with Adria and Joseph.

I love this author’s writing style. You stay hooked from the first page.

As with the other books in this series be aware of your triggers. There will be v10lenc3 and unaliving.

Ok 1st off im going to just say that this is series has become one of my favourites.
I loved how much adria has grown from the first book to this book is amazing.she truely is a fighter through and through and fights for the people she loves.
Joseph is just wow and how he protects,loves and helps adria and the family that is both blood and chosen is shown through every word and action.
This is a story of what unconditional love is about. The sacrifices these two made was beautiful but heart breaking.
Without giving too much away i also loved how joseph was with his boys.
I hated the author for how it ended as she broke my heart,but the bonuses scenes made me love them again and heal it..though i still felt so sad for their boys and leo and heidi
I cannot wait for book 4 to see how things go,even though it is with another main couple.

Honestly i can’t say anything but good stuff about this whole series. This last book though literally *chiefs kiss* The MMC is probably one of my most favorite book boyfriends that I’ve read in sooo long he is so attentive to the FMC’s needs 😮‍💨 like please. The growth from both of them from book one to book 3 was insane there were so many ups and downs in this last book that i didn’t know if i wanted to smile, laugh, or scream and cry. The ending ripped me to shreds and honestly i didn’t see it coming. If you haven’t read this series this is your sign. Do it!! You will not regret it!

This last book of the Mafia Promise Series was a rollercoaster. This is not a standalone and the first two need to be read in order to understand the events in this book.

Joseph and Adria go through some tough times for the first half of the book. A lot of deceit from others and people trying to break them up. This does get resolved fairly quickly, but then we jump ten years into their future together. Here I thought we were going to wrap up the story, which we did, but not in the way I thought we would. It definitely ends with a bang. Be warned.

It was great to see how the story ended, but also sad, as I was invested in the lives of Joseph and Adria.

Whoa! The end of a 3 book series. This review was bittersweet for me, knowing it would be the last. I loved each of these books I hated to see them come to an end ☹️.
Joseph & Adria have not had an easy go of it at times. That made their love that much stronger, and what a love 🥰 they have 🫠. Adria is a determined bad a$$ woman who has endured some stuff & come through stronger 💪for it. Joseph is fiercely loyal to Adria & their princes.
This is NOT your typical HEA, however it will leave you with hope.
If your looking for a great Dark Mafia Love with off the chart spice 🌶🌶 can't go wrong I "pinky promise" 😉

Firstly, the dedication at the beginning is perfectly executed. I appreciate the clear trigger warnings provided before the story commences, demonstrating thoughtful consideration for all readers. The pairing of Joseph and Adria is particularly well-done. I just can't deny that this book killed me at the end. I can't get over the end. They are a power couple and they are perfect for each other from the first book. The twins are doing good and their medical practice is doing good. When there is war they want the families to go to safety and she decides that she won't go that she will be there for them just in case she is needed medically and for any other assistance. But the ending absolutely 10000000% killed me. Tissues are required. The bonuses are so good

I’m Broken, Utterly Broken



This book picks up from where book a little while further into the future than where book 2 left us. The twist and turns continue and as this family grew, so did my heart. But then this author broke it. Utterly shattered it. The love and devotion between Joseph and Adria just continues to grow and develop. I’m struggling to put in to words my thoughts about this journey I am on because I don’t want to ruin it for people by giving spoilers. Just know, you can’t go wrong by reading this series. It’s amazing!

Book 3 was my all time favorite book in this series so far. Adria is such a strong powerful Queen that refuses to just sit back and let her King defend her family. She helps where her strength is best used. I love that Joseph loves Adria just as much as the first time her met her. He can never seem to keep his hands to his self and i think that is the definition of hott. This book had me full on sobbing at the end. I just couldn't wrap my head around it then BAM another twist. I can't get enough and need to finish this series.
