In the sequel to Insight, Delaney and Raelin Delacroix have their past to come back to haunt them, but it's not in the way that they expect. Who has it out for the newly married couple? Is it family members who feel that they deserve some of the good fortune or someone that they missed during the wrap up of the human trafficking case? Will the Montrose Ley Lines give them enough warning so that they can protect themselves and their friends or will they be silent, leaving the Delacroix’s to figure things out on their own. Who has it out for them? Is it someone that they missed during the wrap up of the human trafficking case or is it something more sinister?
Jennis Slaughter (1958-still kicking) was born in Leesburg, Florida and had a fairly uneventful childhood. Could be found sitting up in a Magnolia tree reading or tramping through the woods. Had (and still has) an overactive imagination so writing seemed to be the perfect outlet (since Hollywood didn't call). She prefers writing mysteries and drama and has been called 'The Angst Queen' more than once. She is a firm believer in happy endings and true love.
I love when a sequel turns out just as good as the first, if not better. Raelin and Delaney are wonderful characters, they're loving, fun, smart strong women and their families and friends are just the right mix for the pair. I've enjoyed getting to know all of the characters and am ready for more. It will be interesting to see how Del will get on with her new abilities and to read more on Ariel and Kite.
I really enjoyed Intuition. Para normal is not usually my cup of tea. But you get so involved in the story you can’t put it down. Lots of witchy action and lots of wlw sex.
Good, 2nd book of trilogy. 4 and a half stars. More drama. Emotional growth between couples. Some action. Steamy sex scenes. Cop, witch. The town is getting bigger. On to the next one...
A solid 2nd book. I love the interactions between Del and Rae. Comparing this book to the first, this is more of the interaction between these 2 characters. I would have liked to also get more from Jenny and Kasey, but again this seemed to be more geared towards the building of the 2 main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and an looking for the next out of these characters. Hoping for a Kasey, Jenny book and maybe the relationship with Kasey and her little sister. Love Jennis Slaughter's writing, the only thing that irked me a little was there seemed to be more errors in this book. I was able to continue reading, I can normally look over a typo here or there...this has more than I expected.
