True statement when it comes to Karma Montgomery, the Supreme Being that issues just what her name implies. Karma
A flick of the wrist, a twitch of the nose and her charges always got what they reaped. Some good, most not. A trip to hell was in the cards for her current charge and she was going to make the bastard pay. When her raging libido gets in the way of performing her job, and an evil soul escapes capture, there is no way of knowing she’ll be personally responsible for spawning Armageddon. Armed with her witty personality, and her five inch heels, she’d do practically anything to set the record straight. Especially if it meant working with the man she’d been trying for a decade to seduce. Her Reaper.
Reap was damn good at his job. Soul extraction was his specialty. There wasn’t a soul or demon in Hell that would think twice about going up against him. So when his partner, the feisty little five foot redhead, let her raging libido get in the way of their latest extraction, he’s assigned to help her right the wrong. The sweet taste of his own personal revenge dangling as a prize for completing the task, he’d keep his eye on the ball, and not on her ass, to save the world - even if it killed him.
A rogue soul, an unruly Essence, and an unquenchable desire brewing between Reap and Karma might be more than either one of them bargained for.

Love the start to this new series.
Love this author and each series she has come up with. This one is no exception. Karma and Reap crossed paths at his earthly death and it altered their course. They have a huge task at hand to save the world. Will Reap be able to overcome his misconceptions to save Karma and will she be able to look past a decade of rejection? The two have powerful allies. I can't wait to read more about Lady Luck, Chaos, Destiny, and Michael. I enjoyed the personalities and the story. The book ends with foreshadowing of what is to come in the next book. I don't consider it a cliffhanger, as every point of this book is wrapped up. I don't do cliffhangers and will stop a series if the author I'm reading uses them. I'd recommend this book and can't wait for the next.

Karma can be a B....!
She has wanted to give up her job as Karma for years and the only thing stopping her is her love for a special Reaper. Their task at present is to bring a mortal to his just desserts - his soul in hell. However he seems to have a strong ally that allows him to escape. The ally has granted him part of a talisman that sends shock waves through their's and Heaven community. Even bringing Michael down to give them their next task. Stop them from finding the other part of the talisman and enacting the means for both Heaven and Hell to come together on Earth. Can the pair stop this without either losing their life or reason? Why does Reap feel so hostile to her? Can they use their other friends (Chaos, Destiny and Luck) without endangering them. A great plot in the old fashioned Fantasy Saga that is reminiscent of Terry Brooks and David Eddings.

A fresh new story!
We've all heard about karma but in this story, she's an essence that balances the world. She has her own reaper to take souls when she dishes out her justice. Karma has always had a thing for Reap but he has always turned her down. An evil essence is bent on merging Heaven and Hell and it's Karma's job to stop it. Reap finally learns a truth and it changes how he feels. A good read.
