Just wrapped up the full trilogy again, this time straight through in the ebook edition, and wow — it hits on a whole different level. I don’t usually reread books (let alone entire series), but this one? It’s worth every page a second time around. Reading them back-to-back makes the whole arc come alive in a way I didn’t fully catch the first time — all the threads weaving tighter, the character growth landing harder, the stakes feeling even sharper.

What I love most is that same raw, unpolished honesty in the writing. It never tries to play it safe or cater to the broadest crowd. There’s a grit and sincerity to the storytelling that just works. Sure, the pacing takes its time in places, but instead of dragging, it builds this kind of quiet momentum that pays off in spades by the end. You don’t just get moments — you get a whole world that lingers after you close the book.

If you’ve read one and haven’t gone through the whole set yet, do it in order, all the way. It transforms an already great story into something much bigger. Easily one of my top fantasy reads, period.
