This was a fun shifter romance involving an eagle (Takoda), which is a unique shifter type for me, and, Jase, a wolf. Koda fought the mating for a while, but eventually, they got together and communicated all of their personal experiences and baggage with each other. I was trying to understand their pack dynamics, which are different from birds (and I don't believe in possible violence for punishment). The romance was precious, however, there were some issues that were never dealt with, or some questions that went unanswered. Other than that, the story was gripping in some parts, and passionate in others, and I did find it enjoyable. =)
