Well written introduction to the art of pastels by two art teachers. I had no experience with pastels before reading the book and felt that I learned quite a bit. I'm excited to go play now!

It has much more information about how to draw than it does about pastels. If you're new to both, it would be a great book. If you already know about drawing and you're looking for information on just pastels, you'll skim over most of the book
