Football Fantasies #1

Sacking the Quarterback

Rate this book
At fourteen, Taylor Ashby had a schoolgirl crush on Rhett. Who could ignore the hotter than hell senior quarterback of the football team? But he left for college before she had her chance and went on to be the hottest quarterback in the NFL, a world away from little Dixon, Texas.

Ten years later, Rhett Banes comes home after a very public divorce that caused his world to come crashing down. Coming home, he hopes he can remember the man he was before all the glitz and the money screwed with his head.

When Rhett comes across his best friend's little sister all grown up, he can barely keep his hands to himself. But Taylor isn't the same little girl who had an infatuation. She's all woman and might be too much for him to handle—especially when a woman is what got him into trouble in the first place.

About me? How anyone can summarize their whole being within a little block of space is beyond me.

I have tried on numerous bio pages and what not and I hate making them. :)

So, let's just say I wear many hats. Mother, daughter, friend, writer, boss, employee, student, lover, and whatever else I may do within my day.

We all wear many hats within our lives, and most days we are stressed beyond words because of them.

So I write down my words and hope that someone out there is entertained by them and it helps them escape for a few minutes into another place where there are no hats.

Okay but not great

I liked it but I’d give it a higher rating if it had a backstory on Rhett, like how good was he and his team in HS, where did he go to college? Did he get drafted high? What was the team he was playing for before he was traded? How long had he been starting? What did Taylor do in HS? Does she have a backstory?

This is an engaging, hot novella about Rhett, a successful NFL quarterback who returns to his hometown for the summer after a nasty divorce. He’s intrigued when he meets Taylor Ashby, his best friend’s little sister. Taylor has grown up in the ten years Rhett’s been away. Rhett finds Taylor irresistibly attractive and seductive. I found both Rhett and Taylor easy to like and connect with. This is a delightful story which includes a sexy quarterback, sizzling attraction and spicy sex scenes. I only wish it was longer.

Taylor Ashby had a crush on her older brother's best friend Rhett. But after Rhett left for college and then went Pro as an NFL QB, Taylor's dream to get out of their small Texas town is about to be realized. Rhett comes back to lick his wounds from a bad divorce. He can't believe Taylor is all grown up and is having very grown up thoughts. Loved this romance between them.
