Whole lesbian Sex Stories: Erotica for Women is a small (44 pages) anthology with hard core vignettes from 6 authors I don’t think I’ve ever read from before. The scenes are just a couple of pages each. Well written and varied, but all of them have a hard edge to them. This is not for the gentle reader ;-)

I’m always amused by books with ‘Erotica For Women’ in the title, as if men couldn’t possibly enjoy them. I’m quietly confident, especially after sex historian Kate Lister cited that ‘lesbian’ is one of the highest search terms on PornHub, that men would enjoy stories about two women going at it too. But I digress.

This is a short collection of lesbian stories from different authors, none of which I’ve read before. I enjoyed the one about the lesbian couple who ‘met the family’ for the first time, where the daughter introduced her lover as her ‘friend’. It handles the subject of the shame same sex couples feel about revealing their relationships publicly and delivers it in a fresh way. I felt it had more to say than the other stories.

Overall, an enjoyable tasting platter of stories which (IMHO) would have been better titled: Erotica By Lesbian Women.

2 stars. I didn't like any of the stories. They weren't objectively bad but there wasn't one in the bunch that I cared about. I like that the sex in the stories were a lot more grittier and dirtier than I expected but meh. Didn't work for me overall.
