Exceptional read. I was spellbound throughout. One minute you are crying the next you are cracking up. Jake is pure alpha male but he is soft with Arianna, he takes the time necessary to always put her needs first. Went straight to the next book with this one.

Damn cliff-hanger ending....grrrr!!!
This was my first time reading C.L. Green and a few things threw me for a loop. First off, the book takes place in Australia (I had no idea) and many of the terms and expressions had me scratching my head a little. The other thing is that I was expecting a biker book (based on the blurb) but Jake and his "brothers" are adamantly NOT an MC.
They wear leather jackets but not cuts and have no patches or titles like president or VP...However, they do have a "clubhouse", have group meetings and do illegal shit. So for me, it's a toss up.
The story grabbed me right away with Arianna's terrible attack and escape. This was very gruesome but I just loved the way that Jake rescues her and take such good care of her. I found Ari's friend Emma to be an amazing woman and her bird Jambo is a hoot. Their easy banter and care-free attitude definitely helped balance out the other dark content.
Will for sure read the sequel to find out what happens next.

Based on the number of 4 and 5 star ratings given to this book, I am in the minority
The plot of the story was good. The execution not so much.
The heroine was annoying and to be honest I could not see why a bad*** as the hero was referred in the book would like someone like her. She acted like a rich princess ie buying heaps of stuff online and talking about this and all the other things she wanted to buy all the time.
This is a cliffhanger and to be honest I won't be buying the next book. I simply don't care for the story.

This is an Excellent Book Very Entertaining , great story line Hot Alpha men , the two brothers Jake & Zane own a Harley Shop have a Band of Brothers but don't like being called an MC , ( even tho they are) with doing a bit of the Illegal on the side..... Ariana the damsel in distress & I mean in Distress!! She's a super smart chick who's found herself in a rather large pickle... Hot arse Jake to the rescue with the brothers help & Ari BF Emma who's a Hoot & a half ... LOV Emma.... This book had me laughing out loud quite a few times... Really Enjoyed this Book .. The only & I do say only snip is it ends on a cliffhanger... Which is fine but it's the No info on when the next book will be out??? Cannot find any info on this Author ... So give us some info I'd be happy....... This book was well worth my time & money.... Happy Reading

re-read 3 1/2 stars. There was some great parts about this book and not so great parts. I am glad I waited till book two came out because the wait would have been hard had I read book one and then had to wait six month like I originally planned.

Best book ever! It had everything, alpha male, drugs, bikers and it was hilarious! It had a definite Kristen Ashley vibe, without the extra drama of the alpha breaking up with the heroine and then getting back together with her. I loved this book and couldn't put it down, except when I got to the end and threw it across the room!! A cliff-hanger...uggg...definitely reading the next one immediately, and everything else I can find by this author!!

This author badly needs to learn the difference between "your" and "you're," and needs to study up on the use of possessives and commas. I can't believe this book got published in its current state.

Damn! Damn! Damn!!!!!!!!!! I hate endings like that!!!!!!!! Ugh!!!!!! If you hate cliff hangers do not read this til the next one is out in June! Amazing book, I already want to read it again!!!!! But it has a cliff hanger!!!!! Ugh!!!!!! But besides that it is an amazing book and I can't wait to fin out what happens next!!!!

It was okay. Not sure it was worth the $4.99 I paid for it.
Had that KA feel.

The blurb caught my attention to pick this book, I mean which girl wouldn't want to be rescued by a sweet, handsome and possessive alpha male with beautiful green eyes lol. Ari is definitely one strong female lead, who learnt to pick up the pieces of her life, after suffering such a horrific amount of injury caused by her ex-boyfriend Tony. Jake was such a gentle, loving, caring and amazing guy who helped Ari recover from her ordeal and both of them found comfort and love in each others arms. The secondary characters were brilliant, I loved Luke, Zane and Emma. Now Jake despite his good nature does have a second income that sees him delving into criminal activities, but he doesn't shy away that knowledge from Ari to his shock lol. The banter between Ari and Emma had me in stitches, this pair were just off the hook! A fast paced book, which covers a woman's strength in surviving physical abuse, finding love, new friends and fighting for a new identity. The cliff hanger has definitely left me clinging to the edge for the next book release, my only niggle was I wanted to read more of Jake's pov and not just get snippets every now and then, also the issue regarding his wife was not addressed, we were just left hanging with that fact despite knowing he was trying to divorce her, so we didn't get to see her appearance and the impact on Ari and her relationship with Jake, hopefully this will be addressed in the next instalment.

The story line was on point and kept you focus and held your interest, even though it was in a duel pov at time's I still felt it was more based on Arianna pov and not some much about how jake was really feeling, I always kinda felt like he was hiding something or there was something wrong, he gave me the feeling of mystery not quite sure at times were his head was at,. but he still was a stronger character then Arianna whom at times I was just annoyed with her responses, while other times she seems level headed but at the same time young and naive, her character was a little bit harder to connect too at times. Over all the story was awesome and extremely well written and easy to follow, not sure I would say it was an mc story, but it did have plenty of suspense to keep you on edge, plenty of drama to keep you interested, plenty of mystery to keep you returning and wanting to know what happens next and plenty of passion and laughs and love to make you hot, lol & melt... overall it was awesome & I give it 4 1/2 stars for a fantastic & adventuress story, that I highly recommend as a must read <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Ridge Creek begins when Arianna is wondering around the woods trying to figure out what to do now. She is literally running for her life, and she when she thinks it's over she is rescued by a biker. He helps her get back to normal and start a new life. But they still have the threat of people conning after her. And along the way He and Arianna start to form a relationship.
The plot line was good, but I didn't feel. connection with the book. I feel like there wasn't a whole lot of emotion between the two main characters. They ha more emotion with others then each other. Then there was one little thing about the hero that bugged me because it was only mentioned a few times and seems of no importance but to me it was kinda important. And last was the ending. It ending in a scrappy way complete with cliffhanger. So I have to say I liked it but it wasn't great.

I really liked this book. The h is nearly killed by her seedy boyfriend and is found by the H who takes her in and nurses her back to health. She is a very strong and likable character. She doesn't dwell on what has happened, she just keeps moving forward and trying to start a new life. The H has his own problems which don't really come to life in this book. It mostly focuses on the h and her problems. The H is pretty gruff and doesn't show a lot of emotion. You can tell that he cares for the h and wants a relationship with her, but he's not an emotional type of character. I guess you kind of have to read between the lines with him, but it was still a great read for me. Leaves you with a cliff.

Loved It! Couldn't put the damned thing down. A bit different to the usual MC books, in that it's not really a MC but it's definitely bikers and they are cool! Pity about the delay between the first and second books but if you want to have a hard laugh and read some hot scenes this is the book for you :)

Holy crap! You have mob and Harley riding badass pot growers! Ari is left for dead after being beat by her abusive boyfriend and Jake finds her and takes care of her and his family helps while keeping her safe they fall for each other, but OMG what up with the ending! I need book 2 now!

it started really good then I think it slowed down a little bit .. but overall I really enjoyed this book...
not liking the clifhanger :-( and have to wait a few months for book 2 but hopefully worth the wait :-)

The title needs to read "Ridge Creek Book 1" or I should of read the reviews. No clue there was second book. I thought it was one book. If I had know about the 'series' then I think I would have given it a 5 star.

Wow! I didn't know if I was going to like this when I first started reading. I am so glad I continued to read. I laughed and fell in love with the characters. I love the banter between Arianna and Emma. They are hiliarious. I can't wait to read the second book to find out what happens.

Very reminiscent of K. Ashley. I didn't like their nonchalant views of marriage...neither did I like the sexism. Otherwise, an entertaining read. Huge cliff hanger...

The editing is terrible but the story's good. Well, except for the cliff hanger. Book 2 can't get here fast enough! I gotta know what happens next!
