Rate this book
The third novel in The Shadow Wars.

First, he awoke on a rainy little wasteland of a planet called Dis. His memories were gone and there were zombies everywhere...

Then, he was kidnapped and experimented on by Dark Ops, the shady government branch sent to take advantage of the virus loosed on Dis that turned everyone it touched into ever-evolving undead horrors...

Now, on a desolate lunar mining colony, racing against a timeline unlike any other, Greg Bishop and a handful of survivors must do whatever it takes to escape the system before the local star explodes. Undead horrors, cybernetic nightmares and an army of soulless men in black armor are all out for his blood...

I'm just a writer from the Midwest. I typical like action/horror, usually against a sci-fi backdrop.

I don't usually write reviews, however I felt the need to justify why I read all three books and only gave two stars. Reasons I read all three.
1.All three books were free on amazon. 2. All three kept me interested enough to need to know what happened next.
3. I have an obsessive desire to finish a series if I make it through the first book without deleting it.
4. Fast paced read all three in 4 days.
5. I got attached to Cage.
6. Humor and sarcasm.
7. Conspiracy I love government type shadiness.
8. I said "Oh hell no" out loud quite a bit. If a book makes me speak out loud it's usually a good thing.
Reasons I gave two stars.
1. Very action packed almost too much. Luckily the fight scenes were not over described and pretty brief since there were so many. This is mostly a personal preference.
2. What happened to Cage. Still pretty pissed about that.
3. I said "Are you kidding me he's (Greg) is doing that shit again?" out loud one to many times. This was not a good thing.

4. The conclusion. I realize it's probably leaving room for another series but after all they went through would it have been too much of a problem to get safely landed on another planet? A temporary happy ending? A hint of what the hell is next?
I realize this isn't a review in the traditional sense. It wasn't intended to be. Only justification.

Well, I read Necropolis 1 -3 in a matter of days. Overall I enjoyed the adventure. Book three appears to be a bit rushed as I noticed far more grammatical/editing errors than the previous works. They story comes full circle, in a way, with the main character. There is still a loss of memory and plenty of headshots - and impossible tasks that he continues to survive through - with the end leaving room for a future book. I did enjoy the three as stated, but I can end my experience here...not knowing if there is a book four in the works.
