I knew it was coming, but I felt sad when it happened anyways.

This would be one of those more emotional issue in the series. There was a part here that was written in another language, but I understood why the scenes were there and it tugged on my heartstrings a little bit.

I loved it.

I can suspend my disbelief. I mean, I'm reading a comic narrated by a baby, whose horned and winged parents are from two opposing alien worlds, whose babysitter is a ghost, whose grandparents practice magic, and they're all being chased by a Han Solo-esque mercenary, his lie-detecting cat, one crazy ex-girlriend, and a TV-headed robot prince. And I'm loving it.

Still....how did the Will and Lying Cat survive floating through outer space, exactly? Don't get me wrong. I'm happy LC made it. But, yeah.

Anyway, I could've gotten past that, if we didn't also have 2 pages of a fictional language with no translation. The images to go along with it weren't all that inspiring, certainly not enough to make me mourn Marko's father along with him, which I think was the point.

I did love the first three pages (BKV's trademark humor always makes me laugh) and the last page, which had a nice poignancy. And the art, the gorgeous colors, are fantastic as usual. So three stars overall.

Sounds unpleasant, especially the boiling.

Alright, I wanna get back from where I left off. And it looks like the first few pages was a little too R rated for my opinion. Nonetheless, it's part and puzzle of life and it was a flashback scene. So, just deal with it.

They were in the middle of a giant planet fetus type that was sucking them all into a giant mouth vault. Saving themselves is a current daunting task where this tree spaceship isn't their best option to speed up as expected. Compromising for everyone's safety, a life has been sacrificed and flashback memories of how important this person is has tone down the softer side of Marko and it was amazingly executed.

Still an amazing series!

“A child isn't a symbol, it's a child! It needs applesauce and, and, and playpens and an ass-load of other things we can't provide while we're on the goddamn lam!
Just to be clear. Your exact words to me were: "Please shoot it in my twat."
Yeah. I know.”

Es la segunda vez que lloro, y no puedo parar de sacarle fotos a los dibujos de Fiona Staples.

Espero todos los meses el momento en que abro este cómic, y nunca me desilusiona.

It's extremely difficult to rate the individual chapters, therefore the following is a review of the second volume. In other words, chapters seven through twelve.

I’m not the biggest lover of graphic novels, but the first volume of Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga left me desperate for more. Therefore, I was more than happy to dive into volume two.

Although I have given this second volume a three-star rating, know it is more of a three-point-five-star rating. In fact, it was even closer to receiving a four-star rating than the first volume. I honestly believe, this may well be one of the rare graphic novel series that does become a four-star rating the deeper into it I get.

With this second volume, we have more of the strange and wonderful storyline we were introduced to in volume one. Providing us with chapters seven through twelve, the bizarre story continues. With this one, we have even more twists thrown in, we’re introduced to even more, and we’re hooked to every page.

Without a doubt, this second volume is more than worth reading if you enjoyed the first.

Noooooo and yes, but what is true, no cliffhanger this time. But freaking sad ending. Let's keep on reading. :( :(

I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love it. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics, Mangas, Mahwas, and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.

Saga #11 – Chapter Eleven

Writer: Brian K. Vaughan
Artist: Fiona Staples
Publisher: Image Comics
Release Date: March 2013
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

Summary:
Marko and Alana’s fragile peace begins to unravel as their pursuers draw closer. Gwendolyn and The Will continue their chase, and Hazel’s narration hints at heartbreak on the horizon.

Review:
A tension-filled issue that captures the strain of love under pressure. Vaughan’s dialogue feels raw and believable, and Staples’ art gives every argument weight. A perfect mix of tenderness and impending chaos.

The story so far: Love this review

That was sad, but I admit my first reaction was "better him than the Lying Cat". And if one of the grandparents had to kick the bucket, I suppose better it was kindly old grandpa rather than the nana who is more open to conflict. At least the latter keeps the plot going! Which is a rather inaccurate thing to say, now that I think about it - as if plots can only be kept going by negative interactions. In a universe like this one, though, that's probably more likely.

So that is how Hazel came to be LOL. Seriously, that is SO me.

"Are you kidding? I thought you told me to finish inside of you."

"That was sexy Alana! She's a crazy person! Sexy Alana is obsessed with her nipples and uses the word dick unironically! She's not to be trusted!"

That is me summed up.
