Emma is a cute short story. Emma is a 42 year old woman who lives with her Aunt & Uncle. Bernie is a farmer that works on the farm close by, he's also friends with Emma's uncle so he comes over sometimes but him & Emma rarely talk.

Bernie comes over while Emma is home alone and they start talking over coffee. I like how shy & innocent they both seem and it seems realistic, he doesn't seem far fetched at all.

I think the characters are totally relate-able.

I was really hoping rooting for Emma & Bernie to get together. Nickolas really surprised me! I like the fact that he was a lot more open than Bernie and for a few minutes I was thinking about Emma getting with him.

The ending kinda caught me off guard but it left me smiling :)
