This is definitely the other side to the birth books I've been reading. And I'm glad I read it. But not because I agree with it, mostly because I felt it helped me really think about things. What is really "evil," what is just a matter of preference, and what is probably smart to have even though it may not be "natural."
I did like his point that natural does not necessarily mean better, but I didn't agree that all natural is worse either.
The book is definitely outdated (written in the early 80's.) It is very attacking and defensive. It uses a lot of big words (many that I only recently learned from my husband) and I had to read many sentences 3 or 4 times to understand them, so I would not call it a well-written book.
