This book is full of information about how to use food to impact our health and well being. The 10 week program is easy to follow and the recipes are simple and easy with no special ingredients other than whole and nutritious food. She does suggest to use grass fed meats and dairy products however I believe this is a personal preference and can easily be substituted. I have read many “diet “ books and find this one suggest a more achievable lifestyle of eating for health rather than a restrictive and limiting diet regime. What I find most helpful about this book is the biology and science behind the foods we eat and how ingredients actually matter to the function of our bodies and our mind. I believe the personal stories could have been left out but don’t mind reading about how well other people are doing with their health. Overall I read this book almost everyday and make its recipes regularly. It seems simple but understanding why eating more vegetables and healthy fats and balance proteins is important really helps.
