5 Golden Cocks for the scorching sex scenes!

Reagan Elliot's life changed dramatically since she was thrust into the spotlight after winning the spot of rhythm guitarist with mega metal band, Exodus End. With fame, came a slew of problems concerning her position in the band and especially her private life. Being in a polyamorous relationship with the Sinners much loved guitarist Trey Mills and her bodyguard Ethan Conner turned out to be the toughest fight in her life when their secret became public knowledge.

I love Trey from Sinners On Tour series, but I never really like Reagan or Ethan as individuals, or as a trio. This book made me feel slightly the opposite for all three of them.

She felt more like an observer than a true participant.

Reagan was happy with the opportunity to play with the band, but deep down inside she felt like an outsider especially with how she was being made a puppet by both the management and the media. She wanted to fit in while still being true to herself.

The man was irresistible. He was also loving, generous, and fun, not to mention as sexy as sin.

Trey grew up with great support system so he had no problem with his relationship status. He was happy to flaunt it without thinking how it could hurt the other two people.

Being the non celebrity, Ethan basically got the short end of the straw. I felt sorry for him for having to put up with the facade.

“Dying is easy,” Trey said. “Living with who you are is the hard part.”

I felt the book was a little too long. I really like how we could see the dilemma from Reagan's and Ethan's POV on their struggle of coming out with the relationship but I think it could be compressed to tighten the plot.

Ethan reached between their joined bodies to stroke her clit. Her moans became frantic as she rode Trey faster and faster. Ethan drove into Trey’s ass with the same relentless pace, matching her speed. Fucking Trey harder. Harder. Sweat pooled on his belly, trickled down the side of his face. His toes curled under.

The sex scenes phew.... [insert atomic bomb explosion]. They were fucking hot! MMF is my favorite ménage combo and I was thoroughly satisfied haha!

Outsider is a story of a woman's journey in re-discovering her self-worth and together with her partners accepting who they really are. Do not read in public unless you don't mind people seeing you blushing and squirming, and potentially leaving wet spot :p

Note to author:
I really love Brian and Trey and still harbor hope they would be together. But I'll compromise with a prequel novella of their time together. Pretty please??

I must tell you, I loved Trey/Reagan/Ethan in the Sinner's on Tour, Double Time! But I could not love this one as much! There was just too much ridiculous nonsense going on!

What I did not like about OUTSIDER:
♦ Reagan was a whiny little bitch who made everything about her!
♦ Reagan & Ethan claim to love Trey.
♦ Reagan's constant bitching. God, she pissed me off this whole book!
♦ The ridiculous of the tabloids!
♦ the ridiculousness of the Manager
♦ All of this seemed so unrealistic!

What I did like:
♦ Trey! Of course
♦ Trey's backstory with Brian
♦ Trey's Parents
♦ All the other characters apart of these rock bands!

I have been a fan of Olivia Cunning's books since I first read Backstage Pass in 2012. This was the beginning of my love affair with the Sinners. Outsider is the second book in the Exodus End series and it is also the conclusion to Double Time, Trey, Reagan and Ethan's story. This is a lengthy novel but it needed to be to do this group of people's love story justice. I love that there is no need for a quick re-cap, as soon as I began this book, everything came flooding back to me and it was all so familiar.

Trey, Reagan & Ethan are committed and in love, the only problem is that Reagan & Ethan have yet to 'come out' and the paparazzi are sniffing around them, constantly - like annoying mosquitoes. If they are ever to truly be together publicly then they need to do it right, but being honest with their families is the first step that seems to be the biggest one stopping them at the moment.

Reagan is sill touring with Exodus End, temporarily, and has insecurities about her future with them. The band manager is a douche bag who makes it very clear to her that she is an outsider. However, she loves being on tour and the thrill of live performances.

Ethan, Trey and Reagan are beautiful together but there is also an element of jealousy at times between them and at times, doubt too. Sometimes Reagan wonders if they both really want her, Ethan gets jealous of Trey's past with Brian and Trey gets a bit miffed when Reagan turns to Ethan for help first and not him. However, there is no doubt when it comes to the attraction between them all. The sexy times are so freaking hot!! I love their selfless, creative love making, it really was an education for me each time they fell into bed together. Olivia writes incredibly erotic M/M/F scenes.

Everything between them just feels right, they love each other deeply and if they can get through all the external things that seem to be pulling them apart they will see that the love between them is all that matters.

Fans of this series will be happy to know that all of the band members from Exodus End and Sinners also feature in this story so it is not all about this loved up trio, however, it is very much their story.

Love is love.

This is the story of Trey Mills from Sinners On Tour series which I loved so much and also about the love he has for Reagan Elliot; the female guitarist for Exodus End band along with her body guard Ethan. The story is told on third person about the struggles of being a famous rock star at least for Reagan who is kind of new to the fame. She asked Ethan to be part of her security and is on tour with them.

The story was well written about Reagan dealing with publicity and about how her two lovers fit in her life without ruining anyone's reputation. Trey was opened from beginning he was in love with Reagan and equally in love with Ethan. However; Ethan and Reagan were more private about it and afraid to come out in the open to their love ones. They felt like the outsiders didn't want to be disappointing or be judged by their family because of the feeling they each have for two people. I mean it is hard to understand that someone could possibly love two people at the same time. I felt though that their situation was unique the three of them made perfect scene in my eyes and good lord I devoured this book and really enjoyed it so much.

"Love is not always easy or as we expect it to be, but it is worth the struggle. Love is always worth a fight. Just because it's a challenge doesn't mean it's wrong."

description

Ethan was the support Reagan needed but Trey was her lover and the three fit perfectly well. There were so much drama; so much issues though because there was still a bit of jealously and insecurities from all of them and this journey thought them that it was ok to be different and love each other and be themselves. I am going to be honest I wanted to be Reagan so many times haha I mean seriously Trey is the best funny, cocky, and so likable where Ethan was the supported the one who could understand and read all her needs it was just perfect. A woman's dream come true and I truly believe anyone looking for a book full of drama, steamy scenes and a wonderful story should definitely read this book.

I'm so sorry but I can't bring myself to finish Outsider. It broke my heart a little because it's really the first book by Olivia Cunning that I can't connect to.

I was thrilled to have more of Trey, Reagan & Ethan. I loved their trio in Double time and even if I was happy their got their HEA I knew they were far from being in a good place with all the pressure surrending them.

Trey is always the laid-back guy we all know. He finally found his happiness & balance and he only wants Reagan & Ethan to be there yet with him. But fame, family and insecurities are not a good mix to deal with.

I think my major problem with the book was it was way too long. It was for the most part very repetitive. There was also a lot of problems. Three people in a relationship is a lot of work. And if you had the problem they have within their job, especially Reagan, you have too much of everything.

I read until 70% but at this point I want it to stop. I'm not even sure that I'll believe in their HEA and it broke my heart.

In a ménage, I like to feel that all parts are equally loved. Throughout Outsider I had the feeling it was more about Trey & Ethan. Reagan was often left out. Too much IMO.
As a huge fan of Olivier Cunning's books, I'm already ready for more! There are plenty of teasers for Max, Steve and Dare! I'll be patiently waiting ;)

We first met this trio back in Double Time where they all fall in love. Now there's so much emotional angst from all three of them. Trey is the most stable, but the other two about drove me to stop reading. It was slow in some parts. There's plenty of hot bedroom loving, MMF, MM, MFM, MF. Plus there's added band drama (dump the manager, please) and who's out to get Reagan and where does Steve's ex fit into all of this?

I wonder which band member will be up next. I hoping for Max.

Not sure what I think

I was a lil worried about this book cause it was Reagan Trey and Ethan again we had al there drama in Double Take The Sinner Series an I actually really luvd that book so I was worried that this was goin to just the same but more drama an I wasn't really wrong I did enjoy this book getting al of the Sinner an Exodus End boys together is just amazing an I would luv to n in the middle but I found that story dragged it's killing me to say this cause I m a huge fan of the Sinners series an the last Exodus End was just brilliant but I didn't really luv this Ye it was hot an getting more of Trey an Ethan is great an I luv Reagan but I was just left feelin like I wanted more I liked parts of the story don't get me wrong but I m just left a lil disappointed maybe it would of been better as a 0.5 book or something or maybe I wanted more of the other members of Exodus End which I m still dyin for there stories I can't wait

This story was different to Double Take cause they r in a relationship now an the story did carry on from the last book in this series Insider so that was good but things weren't easy for Trey Reagan And Ethan in this they r goin through it Trey doesn't really care about people knowing he's in a relationship with a man and a woman Reagan is getting the most of the crap cause it's splash al over the papers but they have it al wrong but she is still feeling the pressure and Ethan isn't big on PDA an he is worried what is family is goin to think so they r al at each other's throats to protect there relationship an it's really not that easy the three of them do put up with a lot in this book an that's what I found hard I think we had the first book of them finding where they hit with each other an know it's making people understand there relationship and putting themselves out there to when they r help in there lil bubble

I did luv that we got more of Dare in this book I really really really like him there is just something so sexy about him I m dyin for his book these Mills Brothers r just gorgeous an so caring it's hard not to luv them but I m actually dyin to know more about Max and Steve as well an I think that's why I m a lil gutted with this book cause I m really lookin forward to this series an after the first I knew I was goin to luv an now I left a lil deflated but I know the rest will b brilliant will finger crossed but I didn't enjoy at least half of the book an it was hot an funny in parts so I don't want to sit an just say the bad parts cause there was loads of good parts an I couldn't put the book down I was dyin to know what was goin to happen an like I said I did enjoy then ending it was great xxx

*** ARC kindly provided by the publisher Vulpine Press, via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. ***

I have read the first 5 books in the Sinners on Tour series and the first 8 in the One Night with Sole Regret series. I really loved reading the first book on Reagan, Trey and Ethan “Double Time” in the Sinners on Tour series so I was glad that there was another one for them...

As their story continues in this book we get to meet all those other wonderful characters from the Sinners again and it was great to catch up with them again. I loved reading this book but there were a few things I didn’t like this time. To start with the book was a little bit too long but the Epilogue made up for that. I also didn’t like Reagan as much as I liked her in the first book and I have no idea why maybe because she was more focussed on herself or too insecure... I don’t know! I did really like Ethan and of course LOVED Trey! But still I enjoyed reading this one and give it 3.5 stars.

I didn’t read the first book in this Exodus End series yet but it’s waiting on my Kindle. After reading about Toni and Logan in this book I can’t wait to read their story... And of course I also can’t wait for the other books especially Dare’s

I received an advance review copy from the publisher via Netgalley for a honest review.

Overall, my advice is just to keep reading. I didn't enjoy the first half of the story. If you could have removed Regan and Ethan it would have been much more enjoyable. Everything with this couple was sex, sex and more sex.

The positives... the sex shop and girls shopping. That was awesome!!!!!

The side story with Bianca, Sam, Steve and Max. Really enjoying that. Even though it was reminding me too much of another series I love.

Rosa and Ethan's family, Gwen, all great additions to this series!!

The cons... Their relationship is all over the place. Each is very selfish. Ethan and Trey, purely sexual. Ethan and Regan, he makes her feel safe, Regan and Trey, they are like a Hetero couple but she doesn't satisfy him sexually. Their relationship didn't work for me because they all seem too immature, selfish and don't communicate. They were so annoying!

Too much of the story repeats Insider.

Seriously!!!! Making Brian bisexual and jealous?????? Having him make advances on Trey?? Not Cool!!!! If felt like he wasn't being faithful to Myrna.

This one didn't meet my expectations because
1. I'm so over Raegan and her selfishness.
2. I don't enjoy most MMF relationship because there's always more focus on one character (most times the female) than the others.

Trey is so jummylicious and I just don't understand how he got so much bad luck on his love life :(
Reagan, yuck. And I don't dislike Ethan but he is not the greatest character either.

Reagan.. I just, she's was so annoying and selfish with both guys and in the end she kept fucking up and what happened? She had the most beautiful wedding!

I did like that we FINALLY had kind of a closure with the whole weird Brian jelousy thing, honestly Brian and Trey are my OTP.

Even though this wasn't my favorite book of Olivia I'm gonna stick to this series because I know in my heart that Dare's book is going to be the last one and honestly Max's story seems interesting too so those books better had the most amazing heroines!

“Love is not always easy or as we expect it to be, but it is worth the struggle. Love is always worth a fight. Just because it's a challenge doesn't mean it's wrong.”

3.5 stars

This is the second book in the Exodus End series, but it is also a sequel to Double TimeDouble Time from the Sinners on Tour series. It’s the continuation of the intriguing, heart-warming and hot-as-f**k love story between Trey Mills, Reagan Elliot and Ethan Connor.

Trey is guitarist for rock band, Sinners, Reagan is the stand-in rhythm guitarist for metal band, Exodus End, and Ethan is Reagan’s bodyguard. They are madly in love and deeply committed to their menage relationship – which is well established in Double Time (and I would recommend reading that book before starting this one).

This book overlaps a little bit of the last book of this series, Insider, and we get to see the trio loved-up, sexed-up and happy, living their lives together. But knowing that the outside world would not understand their unconventional relationship, to the general public it’s just Reagan and Trey in the relationship, and Ethan is the bodyguard. But when rumours start to fly and the press take an interest in the relationship – mistakenly thinking that Reagan is cheating on Trey with Ethan – it’s going to put them to the test in ways they aren’t ready for.

Not only is there the issue of the enforced public secrecy of their relationship, but Reagan and Ethan are also hiding their lovers from their families. It’s a tense situation as they try to balance their happiness, the feelings of their partners and security of their relationship, with the fear of public opinion and backlash, and I could understand the concerns that each of them had.

And on top of that, Reagan is facing uncertainty in her future with Exodus End. She was only ever bought in as a temporary band member for their world tour, and though they guys treat her as one of their own, she still feels like an outsider. And then the band’s manager starts trying to use her unwanted publicity to push her as a sex symbol. It’s an uncomfortable situation for Reagan, who just wants to play music, and not be the focus of the relentless paparazzi and their devastating lies.

“I’d die for you.”
“Dying is easy … Living with who you are is the hard part.”

I really enjoyed catching up with these characters again. I’m always intrigued by the dynamics of a menage relationship, and I liked that we got to delve into that a bit more as they are now past all of the initial experimentation, wonderment and excitement of their relationship and are now settled into the no-less-intense phase of steady commitment. The love between them is beautifully written, and of course the sexy time is steaming! These three are insatiable, and we get to see that over and over again in all kinds of ways. But through all of the super hotness, there is a strong emotional connection that is absolutely gorgeous.

“Separately as individuals, together as a couple, the three of us united. You belong to each other and to me, and I belong to you.”

I have mad love for all things Trey Mills, he’s such a great character. Funny, sexy, and charmingly filthy, and he has the biggest heart! He’s open and loving with everybody in his life, and none more than Ethan and Reagan who mean the world to him.

Loving had always been one of the biggest parts of who he was, and now he was twice the lover. He finally felt whole and refused to change for anyone.

Ethan may be less demonstrative than his boyfriend, but I love his confidence in this relationship, and his strength in being the ‘outsider’ when it came to the press. He is happy to take the back seat in the public eye, but he has a controlling hand with Trey and Reagan, and his absolute certainty of his love for them is beautiful to see.

And Reagan….. I have to admit that she annoyed me in this one. Sure, there’s a lot going on with all of the drama that they’re going through, but she came off as selfish and whiny. It’s never in doubt that she loves her men, but her unwarranted insecurity and constant whining just annoyed me. I kinda felt that she wasn’t worthy of Trey and Ethan.

And through the drama-rama, my heart broke for Trey who just rode it all out with nothing but his two lovers in his mind and the need to make them happy and build a good life for the three of them.

“I love you. Even if no-one else in the world ever sees it, you need to see it. You need to believe it.”

There’s no doubt that they’re in a unique and difficult situation, but I enjoyed watching them work through it all to get the happy end together that they all so desperately want.

“Love is not always easy or as we expect it to be, but it is worth the struggle. Love is always worth a fight. Just because it's a challenge doesn't mean it's wrong.”

My other issue with this book is that it was just too long. There’s a lot of repetition with the drama, and other parts of the story are too drawn out. The same story could have been told in a lot less pages, and it started to drag a lot for me. But it ends well and though there was some slap-worthy behaviour there towards the end, I was happy with how it all finished up.

As always, I loved catching up with the boys of the band. The Sinners feature heavily in this one, and I loved seeing where each of the couples are at, as well as seeing some story progression for them. And I loved getting to know the Exodus End boys better. This is a great bunch of guys with a wonderful sense of camaraderie (brothers Trey and Dare just make my heart melt with their close relationship!). There are some interesting stories just begging to be told, and I’m so excited to get their books.

A sizzlingy steamy, heartfelt, enjoyable (if a little long) story. 3.5 stars.

Olivia Cunning is my rock star/erotica queen. I absolutely adore her Sinners on Tour series, and I’m loving the spinoff series, Exodus End. You don’t necessarily have to read Sinners before Exodus End, but I highly recommend it. For Outsider, I definitely suggest you read at least Double Time, since that is Reagan, Trey, and Ethan’s first book. Their story continues in Outsider – and if you loved them in the first place, get ready for more smokin’ hot threesomes with them!

Reagan’s life was forever changed when she was chosen to be Exodus End’s new rhythm guitarist – and got into a polyamorous relationship with Sinner’s rhythm guitarist, Trey Mills, and her bodyguard Ethan. Both are bisexual men, so you can expect some crazy hot M/M, M/M/F, and M/F/M scenes. But with fame and fortune comes a cost – Reagan can’t come out to the public with her unconventional relationship for fear of heavy backlash. But keeping secrets only hurts Trey, who wants the world to know and accept the love they share for each other, and Ethan, who is kept in the sidelines and can never show affection with them in public. Can their love last in secrecy or will the truth come out and change their relationship forever?

Outsider is another fabulous read from one of my favorite erotica authors. I honestly don’t know how she does it, but Olivia Cunning creates her menage scenes so perfectly sexy, even when they’re over-the-top. And obviously, since it’s Trey, you know they’re going to be over-the-top. I did feel like the book was a bit too long though – the story dragged out way longer than it could’ve been, especially regarding Reagan’s decision to come out or not. Her wishy-washiness kind of turned me off, so I was definitely more a fan of Ethan and Trey in this book. Nevertheless, I did enjoy this book overall – how could I not when the chemistry and sex were divine, as expected from the author?

I’m so looking forward to more Exodus End books. I loved seeing more of the rest of the bandmates and Toni – every scene with all of them always cracks me up. Steve, the drummer, is next, and though I’d prefer getting Dare (because, DARE!), I still can’t wait to get my hands on Steve’s book.

Thanks to the author for generously providing me an ARC to review.

I stepped outside of my comfort zone and was pleased with the read. I first met Trey when he was still in love with Brian Sinclair, his bandmate and guy he's known most of his life. I was excited to see his book and love life pan out, even if I wasn't as understanding of the relationship he chose to have as I could have been. Ethan and Reagan are both interesting in their own right, as well. Having said that, for me, this book was an ode to Trey, a very long awaited one.

This book circles around three main characters as they are all in a relationship together. As a very selfish person, I could never handle this kind of thing which is why I tend to not read these kinds of books. I found myself understanding the dynamic and realizing that some people are really interesting and special where they can love freely without any restraint which is where Trey falls. To an extent, Reagan and Ethan fall there, too, but Trey is more open and accepting. The other two struggle with the terms of their love and relationship.

The novel goes into detail depicting how being in the spotlight and having such a relationship can really suck. Anything that goes against the grain of society sucks but now add in celebrity status and it's a nightmare you never want. When things blow up, the relationship between the three takes a major hit. All three parties are at different stages and fight each other because they can't deal with the pressure and struggle the same. It's sad to watch because love, at the end of the day, is love and people should accept that. I think this read is eye-opening for someone like me, someone selfish who can't imagine having to share someone they love with another that you love. It's complicated but it doesn't mean the love between Trey, Reagan and Ethan is any less valid or beautiful.

Yay I can't wait!!!!

If I could put a bet down I would say the book is about the breakdown of the relationship.

And I can't help shake the feeling that something is going to happen between Reagan and Dare. Is it just me?!? Because I think that would be soooo cute.

5 MEGA HOT STARS!!!!

Wow wow wow!!!!

If you've already read Olivia's Sinners On Tour series then you'll be familiar with Trey Mills and his cherry lolly pops ;-)

In Outsider we meet up again with Reagan the temporary guitarist with Exodus End, Trey Mills the sexy hot guitarist for Sinners and Ethan who is Reagan's hot bodyguard, Reagan is in a polygamous relationship with the two men, only problem with that is her judgemental family and the public are unaware, she loves them both with all her heart but as we read in the book all three have insecurities when it comes to the relationship and how other people may judge their relationship, will this break everything that is close to her heart or will it make them stronger?

Reagan's place within Exodus End is also under pressure as she doesn't feel like she's a true band member and is worried about her place once the tour is over, she really does feel like an outsider.

Olivia Cunning sure knows how to write the best sex scenes ever in a book and Outsider certainly provides hot sexy threesomes which will melt them knickers right off you and make you crave more, every single book has likeable characters, extremely well written, chemistry, sparks, emotions flying high and the best relationships and friendships.

Here's my confession. I was as scared as I was excited to read this book. Scared because I was scared to see what would happened with Trey/Ethan/Reagan that would need another full length novel. Once everything unfolded in OUTSIDER it was clear that it was the right choice. Cramming all these feelings that were not dealt with before in a novella wouldn't have been easy and it would've felt like an easy fix to make them go away. So I am overall please with how this book turned out. Really.

The three of them are very much in a loving and happy triad, but for the most part that's only kept private. This book starts off during INSIDER so we are going back a bit in time and re-experiencing some of those moments from different perspectives. They are all difficult issues. Ethan is not out as a bisexual man. To anyone. Nor does he want to be. Reagan is not comfortable being out as a sexual deviant in her mind that would need to be with two men to be satisfied. And Trey gets to suffer through the denial of his true feelings in public. Things would just be simple if the truth could come out. And instead, we see the toll that lies and unaddressed feelings can have on a relationship that we thought was strong.

I think the author did a really good job at dealing with those issues for the most part. Maybe the resolutions were a bit easy in the end, and I would've liked to see maybe more of a struggle than an all around happy ending. I know, that's terrible of me. But would've been more believable. However, overall, I think the author did this conflict enough justice.

Then there's the sex. Get the ice cubes ready and keep them handy because you'll need to cool off. There's a lot of it, and it's all hot. These three never have any problems in the bedroom and Trey and Ethan are blistering hot. I wouldn't even mind if Reagan could just go away sometimes and leave the two of them be.

And that brings me to Reagan. She's a big part of why I didn't like this book more. She's so insecure, it felt like every time Trey and Ethan said something to each other or had a moment she would just jump in with a "what about me?". She got on my nerves quite a bit during this book and I have to admit that has been one of my issues with several heroines in these interconnected series. So nothing new there with Reagan. The moments where I liked her where definitely less than when I wanted to throttle her. But she didn't ruin the book for me!

OUTSIDER leaves the three of them in a much stronger position and with the promise of an HEA that can stand the test of time. That's what was missing from their first book and I'm glad they got this second shot.

As a huge fan of Olivia Cunning and her Sinner’s series, this book was such a treat for me. Although technically a part of the Exodus End series, this book was just as much about the Sinners. It had it all. It had the boys from both bands, it had the women we’ve come to adore, and it had a love story that was unique and so heartfelt that it made me ache.

While Double Time was Trey’s book and introduced us to Reagan and Ethan, Outsider was Reagan’s story and her struggles to find where she fit in with the other members of Exodus End. But more importantly, it was about the struggles that she, Trey and Ethan faced while trying to make their unorthodox union work. In Double Time, the three had to come to terms with their feelings for one another. They had to figure out how their relationship would play out and what they meant to one another. They had to decide who they were, and accept the people that they loved. Outsider continues their relationship, but with three people who are comfortable with the love they feel for one another. They are secure in their love and affection and express it in ways that are so sexy, so unbelievably erotic, both physically and emotionally. But their conflict comes from how they will disclose this love to the outside world who may not understand their relationship; how they will tell family, friends and fans that may feel hurt and betrayed by their love.

As I said, this book truly had it all for me and I couldn’t put it down. Trey was adorable and infectious in a naughty boy way. Ethan was dominant and protective and Regan was the bad-ass rocker chick with a sensitive soul. Any two of these as a pair were smoking hot and had their own dynamic, but put them together and they ignite. And while I certainly adored the sex scenes, it was the soulful looks and murmured words of love and commitment that got to me. This group was so wrapped up in one another that it was beautiful. To find a love that way between two people is incredible, but between three, it was magical.

I felt that Insider, the first Exodus End book, had a different feel from most of Ms. Cunning’s other books. Her hero was a little goofier (even than Eric Sticks!), her heroine oddly innocent, and the story just didn’t pull me into the same world as her Sinner’s series did. But Outsider thrust me right back in the limelight of rock gods and screaming fans and smoldering intense scenes. And gave me a backstage pass to two of my all-time favorite bands. I can’t wait to continue the tour!

The Outsider reminded my how much I love Trey Mills and his cherry obsessed free spirit! Outsider continued to explore the menage relationship of Trey Mills (from Sinner) Reagan Elliot (the new rhythm guitarist for Exodus Eden - Trey’s brother Dare’s band) and Ethan Connor (Reagan’s friend and bodyguard). For me personally, I don’t think this book can be read as a standalone; it is best read after you have binge read the Sinners on Tour series (there is a boxed set link with all 5 novels below) and book 1 of the Exodus Eden Insider.

Outsider finds this threesome trying to find a way to enjoy the love that has developed and continues to deepen; but how do you do that when the world (and you think your family) just wont understand?

Speaking of family, I freaking loved Dare Mills in this book, crazy as it sounds I loved him more in this book than I did in his book Insider. In Outsider the role of big brother, created endearing moments, laugh out loud funny moments, and truly life altering moments.

Speaking of things I love...Mrs. Mills, their mom, was WOW. It is clear that this character could raise both Trey and Dare. You get a real sense of where Trey’s quirky comes from, where his open minded value were born from and why he accepts and provides unconditional love to those around him. The use of Mrs. Mills throughout moved me so many times, her acceptance, her love of her boys and their extended family of bandmates spoke to the true love a parent should provide (I did think this would have been expanded a bit to show perspective given the backstory and maybe with removing some of what I felt was a bit repetitive in this book).

Speaking of unconditional love, this book also explores the background between Brian and Trey, the prior obsession with Brian Trey had and their now friendship. You can feel the sense of unconditional love and you really get Ethan trying to process and accept that.

I will not tell you what happens or how Ethan, Reagan and Trey settle into a happy so very right for them. I will tell you there is wonderful character development and no worries for Olivia Cunnings fans...there is a lot of heat (in all sorts of positions).

Though it has been years since I read Trey’s story, I just can’t seem to shake the nagging feelings that there were inconstancies in Trey’s backstory.

I am looking forward to continuing to explore the relationships this band develops and I am excited for the Exodus Eden drummer, Steve Aimes next.

It seems like so long ago when this author shocked me with her diagram worthy sex scenes in the Sinners on Tour series. I still fondly remember Trey and his love of lollipops. So I was beyond excited to get more of the steamy threesome - Reagan, Trey and Ethan. In this installment, each tries to find their place in their relationship and Reagan tries to find her place in Exodus End.

The passion between these three has not died down. It only seems to have grown with the love they now share. While I enjoyed some of these scenes, due to the long length of this book, I'll admit, I started skimming some of the scenes as the book progressed. Yes, crazy, I know! I have evolved a bit as a romance reader and have more interest in the plot than the creative positons and places these three got it on.

So what's the overall plot in this book? There are several plot lines:
* The exposure of Reagan's relationship to not one, but two men.
* The role of tabloids and the struggle with trust.
* The clock ticking on Reagan's time with Exodus End.

I'll tackle the top two points first:
What surprised me most about this threesome, was the level of their insecurities. As a part of a polyamorous couple, I would get the overall fear that one partner may love one person more than another. But their insecurities ran a lot deeper. Despite their repeated proclamations of love, there seemed to be a lot of jealously between them.

Ethan would get upset if Trey got to close to Brian. Sure, they have a history, but Brian has moved on and Trey has finally accepted that.
More concerning was how Ethan had to appear not to care about either in public, while watching Trey and Reagan be affectionate.
Even Trey showed jealously, if Reagan got to flirty with his brother, Dare.
But the biggest issue was for Reagan, who was exposed by tabloids as a whore, for cheating on Trey with Ethan. She constantly struggled with how she wanted to be treated, which got a lttle annoying.

Who broke this story and why one tabloid targeted Reagan was a big part of this story. I liked that aspect of the plot, however, there was no real resolution to this drama. So I can only guess the theme will continue in the next series installment.

The other main plot point was Reagan's role with the band.
She is the Outsider.

Throughout the book, Reagan struggles to fit in. She's not quite like the other wives/girlfriends of the Sinner band members. On a bigger level, she never truly felt part of her own band, Exodus End. As the replacement guitarist, she didn't feel like she was full member, and at times, I felt like the band didn't give her the impression that her stay was anything more than temporary. I'm not sure why they were so insensitive to her feelings, but it was a sad part of the plot.

Ultimately, Reagan finds a way to stand out and expose the talent she has kept from others. I loved this part, but I'm not sure if it will lead to anything bigger for her. That was not revealed, so again, it may become part of the theme in another book.

If you are a big Sinner fan, you'll get plenty of updates on all the men and their lady loves. And for the woman who has found two loves, they find a way to commit to each other on a more permanent level. I plan to continue with the series as I'm really curious who will manage to settle Max, Steve and Dare. I just hope some plot lines are resolved going forward.

Trey

I really wanted Trey to fall in love with just Reagan or Brian . It seems like Trey & Reagan was never fulfilled.
I didn't like Ethan at all - he came across as mean, too rough

Be still me beating heart. It is here, it is finally here. My book husband Trey Mills is back!

It seems forever since I have had the hotness that is Trey Mills and his magical pierced wonder tongue in my hands!

Outsider is the second book in the Sinners on Tour series spinoff, and it has been worth every single second that I have had to wait to get back into their world.

If you have read the Sinners On Tour series (and if you haven't, why not??) you will know about Trey, Reagan and Ethan's unorthodox relationship. Now we get to learn more about how their relationship is holding up.

Sigh.... just when I thought I couldn't love Trey any more than I already did, I fell a little bit more in love with him.

I adore Trey, Ethan and Reagan together, but my heart ached for Trey as they other two at times really didn't seem to be on the same page as him when they came out of the bedroom.

The tabloids and paparazzi play a huge part of this story. When someone outs Reagan's relationships, I was curious as to who would want to hurt Reagan so badly? Who could want her gone? Why would they want the relationships to fall apart?

But for something that was such a big part of the storyline, I felt that there really was no resolution to it. It just... wasn't there any more. Maybe we will find out more later in the series??

I loved that we got more of my beloved Sinners boys. It can't be a Trey story without Brian. And I felt that Trey's relationship with Sed was deeper, stronger than it was before?

Outsider had me feeling all the emotions. I laughed, I cried, I was happy and sad, angry and mad. And omg the heat and passion was off the charts.

Now I am off to reread my Sinners books while I impatiently wait for the next in this series.

And while I am reading, I will be dreaming that Trey was a real boy and that I could tell him this:

Ok lots of spoilers and a full on rant.

Honestly, I read Trays book from the Sinners books and I had turbulent feelings about the trio and felt that maybe Reagans book would give me the peace I needed to be ok with it. I am more agitated now than I was after that book.

The thing about three is that it is uneven, just like the phase third wheel which references "someone who is unnecessary to a group and is tagging along'. Although, the author tried to make the relationship feel like it was on even grounding, she spent most of the books trying to clarify the Ethan - Tray aspect since it is abit more out of the ordinary (openly bisexual men) and so Raegan was for the most part neglected. The focus on Raegan throughout the book revolved around her own internal battle in seeing her own worth which wasn't helped by being in a relationship with two men that seemed to adore each other more than her.

I felt bad for her character because the author somewhat portrayed her as naggy while in fact it made total sense for her to feel torn. She was an afterthought in her band and in her relationship. She was the third-wheel all around. Yes everyone loved her but it was repeatedly demonstrated that she was simply not enough. Not enough for her lovers and not enough for her band where she was always simply a stand in for Max (which was clear during the radioshow). She was always backup and that rubs me the wrong way.

Her character deserves to be treated like she is someone's everything and she alone is enough!!!!!

That is why I was not ok with these 2 books. I was really hoping that something in this book would change that sinking feeling i got in my stomache that she was just an accessory and replaceable. The author did repeatedly declare Tray and Ethan's love for Raegan, but most of their internal dialogues were admiring the other man and even the descriptions the men had for each other were stronger and more heartfelt than what was described as their feelings for her. So unintentionally the author made me feel like she was less loved, less important.

I actually felt like crying for her throughout the book.

Even in the end, although i was happy Tray was devastated by her walking out (at least some emotion that showed he loved her), again neither he or Ethan ran after her. Their families did the work. I would have wanted them to run after her, to show that they really couldn't function without her so that I really felt it was equal three ways.

In all honesty, towards the end I was hoping she got with Dare or someone that worshiped her and left the two undecided guys alone. I wanted to be open for this three way love but if I had felt it was even and justified I would have. If they had felt that they had enough with either of each other but wanted to be all together that would have been OK. But it felt like Raegan wasn't enough, the guys could have easily been in a complete relationship without her though based on the extremely affectionate internal dialogues and thoughts they had about one another.

She just felt like a prop for the sexcapades and they just happened to "love" her too. Like the special spark that had been between her and Tray in the first half of the other book was completely lost and it was just like she was trying so hard to be enough for her band, for her dad, for the public eye, and in her relationship where she felt for the entirety of the book that they would soon realise they didnt need her in their relationship. Sorry for my long rant ... I just felt emotionally drained after these books. Like it just wasnt a real HEA for me.

To top it off, in addition to all of that justified second guessing because of how the others in her life didn't really show her they loved her as she was and all that she was was enough, she spends the whole time chastising herself for these feelings (which I repeat I felt were justified). And the book ends with her declaring her love for them in a book. I think the fact that she kept thinking she was so lucky to be in this unequal relationship with the "love" of these two "wonderful" men ... it just pisses me off. The guys should worship her for loving them enough to accept to be in a relationship where she feels less and gets much less out of it than they do.

My rant was supposed to be over but I keep remembering more things that made me mad/sad. Like how Trays bandmates all second guessed his decision to marry Raegan, while Brian proposed to Myrna after one date. How they always insinuated that Tray was more gay than bi, which makes sense but doesn't hold fair for Raegan. Even in the sexual scenes the MM action was always more focal and preferred than anything with the F and she always seemed like an accessory for their fun times. I skipped through parts of this long book because I just couldn't take anymore and was hoping to jump to parts where Raegan was given some justice but I finished the book with her once again a doormat declaring her love for 2 men who obviously love each other more than her and were active participants in embedding and confirming her fears and self-perception of not being enough.

Done!

Bitiremedim.

Let me start by saying Olivia Cunning is an auto-click buy for me. I love her books so it pains me to say I just could NOT finish this book. My frustration with Reagan and Ethan and the total lack of communication was enough to sour the story for me.

5 star Review Outsider (Exodus End # 2) by Olivia Cunning
This is the second book in the exciting Exodus End series and is also the sequel to Double Time book 5 in the Sinners on Tour series. Outsider continues the story of Reagan Elliot and the two men she is in love with, her hot bodyguard Ethan Conner and sexy guitarist Trey Mills.
Regan is finally living the life that she has dreamed off, but fear of exposure can cause so much pressure. She loves both men, but fears the backlash to them all if the public were to find out that they are in a polyamorous relationship, not to mention judgmental family.
However with this type of relationship, issues and insecurities will arise. Reagan, Trey and Ethan all struggle at times to work out where they fit in the relationship. Throw in the fact that Reagan still struggles to feel as though she belongs with Exodus End and complications will and do arise.
What happens when all is revealed? Can Reagan, Trey and Ethan’s relationship survive the test or will they buckle under the pressures of the public and their families? Or will their insecurities and at times ability to trust destroy them?
Outsider really refers to Reagan in my opinion. She struggles throughout the book with the fact that she is only a temporary replacement for Exodus End and has no idea where her career will go after she completes the gig with the band. She also appears to have little in common with the other band members’ wives and girlfriends and all in all appears to constantly feel that she is on the outside looking in.
This book is extremely well written and has certainly been worth the wait. From the moment I started reading this book I was hooked. After a great deal of angst and heartache, not to mention some totally hot scenes it was awesome to see is how, together they all overcome their issues as they reached for and grabbed their happily ever after. When these three come together the sparks certainly fly, their chemistry sizzles, from the instant their hands touch; these three are meant to be together.
This book made me laugh and cry; Olivia Cunning’s characters are at times complex and yet so simple, the love and friendships shared are inspirational. One of the things I most enjoy about this series is that there is usually the opportunity to catch up with characters from the previous books; this group of family and friends is one I would happily be a part of.

I really hate that I didn’t love this one as much as I wanted to because I was excited about a new Trey, Ethan, and Reagan book. That being said Outsider had some really good stuff in it and I am really looking forward to Dare and Max’s book. Please hurry! I want Dare first please.

If you read Insider you know that some of Reagan’s life was exposed to the tabloids. The triad is now in the position of trying to decide how to proceed and how much to let the public know. At this point the tabloids only think that she is cheating on Trey with Ethan; they have no idea what is really going on. I really loved Trey in Outsider he was strong and ready to fight. He has lived his whole life pining for a guy that didn’t want him and now that he has found his soulmates he is ALL IN. The problem is Reagan and Ethan aren’t all in. Oh boy, it was really hard to like these two for most of the book. Trey was ready to tell the public and let the fallout happen. As long as they have each other they would be okay. Trey is very right but Reagan and Ethan refuse. They are both afraid to come out to their families. I totally understood their fears but they kind of made that choice when they decided to pursue a triad relationship. It was immature and unrealistic for them to think they could stay in a bubble. They needed to be willing to fight for Trey. The parts leading up to them coming around really dragged for me. In part because anytime they tried to have a serious convo they started screwing and didn’t resolve things. I have always thought Ethan was a jerk but he finally decided to man up and take steps to change their situation. Sadly Reagan never really endeared herself to me; even in the end.

There was some really good stuff in Insider. I loved the talks between Trey and Dare. Dare is such a good big brother and he makes me swoon. I can’t wait for his book! I loved the heart to heart between Trey and Brian. I just really adored Trey this time around. I liked him in Double Time but he has come such a long way now that he is happy. Ethan’s mom was a hoot and I really liked the family scenes. The scene with Sed and the letter really got to me and even though it was a sad scene it was fabulous to see the band together like that.

All in all this was a good read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series even though it’s not Dare’s. *pouty face*

I've read most of the Sinners on Tour books (except the novellas) and am absolutely a huge fan of Olivia Cunning's writing. The one thing though that gets me each time, is the large time lapse between the books. From the end of the Sinner's on Tour book (Double Time) to the first book of Exodus End was 2.5 years. Now if this was a separate series from Sinners on Tour I don't think this would be an issue. However, Outsider is a continuation of Double Time from Sinners on Tour. Meaning we're expected to remember everything going on with Trey, Reagan and Ethan from almost 4 years ago when the last book was published. Even if we stick with the same series, Outsider was released 9 months after the first book in this series. It just makes it difficult to stay invested in a series in my opinion when so much time lapses between the books.

That said, I really did enjoy this book. As always with Olivia's books, the sex scenes are incredibly hot and her books always leave you wanting more. It was interesting to learn more about the behind the scenes workings of a popular band including the turmoil of the record label.

One thing I didn't care for: parts of this book occurred at the same time as Insider. If you read Insider, like I did, you already know what happened with Toni and how that issue was resolved. Outsider is starts before Toni's journal is stolen and continues throughout the entire ordeal. While I understand the need to show this from Reagan, Ethan and Trey's point of view but I'm not sure we needed an entire book to do this. Parts of the book felt redundant since we already knew what was going to happen.
