On the plus side the book is fairly well written and easy to follow. A lot of the recommendations are somewhat commonly heard in numerous health related articles, books and diets. Basically, organic natural foods are good for you, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, raw foods are better (not really sure if that is true or not but that is stated over and over in the book) and avoid anything processed. But beyond those more common statements there are a whole litany of ones that I'm really suspicious of or ones that I know are not true. For example, there is the claim in the book that energy (in the form of waves) is all around us and that all matter is made of of these waves (yes EM radiation is all around and yes some theories in physics that back up that matter is essentially waves at the quantum level) and that if you speak you produce these similar waves and connect to the universe and all things around you. Basically just speak what you want and it will happen. Well there is so much wrong with that chain of thought. First sound waves generated by your voice are pressure waves not photon based electromagnetic waves which I believe are the energy waves he was initially talking about. These things are so different it is amazing that someone can confuse them and then write about it in a book. Once you encounter such an egregious error in basic physics it makes it difficult to believe pretty much anything else the author says.
I rated this as high as I did basically because the recipes listed in the back look good and at least some of them are probably worth trying.
