Informative read

Great book, lots of great info for adding a new family member when you have time and space to do so. However not ideal for families adopting from shelters with limited time constraints and for those living in small apartments.

A lot of great information here, especially if one is working with dogs with social difficulties. It errs on the side of caution, but that's the only way to guarantee the best chance at a successful introduction, especially important if you want the dogs to live together peacefully. The better you know each dog and their social skills and social interests, of course, the better you can decide how much caution is necessary. However, no trainer ever got called to try to fix an introduction that was done too cautiously, and we human tend to rush things far more than we should in dog introductions!

Quick read. Some of the tips appear a bit excessive and not possible for people that work. Looking forward to implementing some tips, to help both boos fee loved and safe.
