A couple of big issues with this anthology: 1. Most of the stories aren't full-length novels, they're novellas. 2. Three stories in the middle have cliffhangers, so they aren't even complete stories and the endings to the stories aren't due out until mid-2014.

Most anthologies are marketing tools to introduce people to authors they haven't read, but the inclusion of all these novellas and cliffhangers made this a frustrating experience.

Individual story ratings:
Fast and Mine: 2.5 Stars
Nice Girls Don’t Ride: 4 Stars
One Wild Ride: 3 Stars – Novella
Full Throttle: 3.5 Stars
Heart Racer: 3 Stars – Cliffhanger
Love, Lex: 1 Star – Novella/Cliffhanger
Savage Heart: 3.5 Stars – Cliffhanger
Burnout: 4 Stars – Novella
Hot Ride: 3 Stars – Novella
Obsession: 3 Stars – Novella
Dirty Delilah: 3.5 Stars

These stories were very hit-and-miss for me, but the price makes it a steal.

Fast and Mine by Sharon Page: DNF
I get that the characters are young, but there is a way to emphasize that without sacrificing writing/content/plot/characterization.

Nice Girls Don't Ride by Roni Loren: 4 stars
Lovely story of repressed good girl and misunderstood, tattooed, yet sweet to the core biker. It was short but complete.

Full Throttle by Adriana Hunter: 2-1/2 stars
It started out so well, then just fizzled. Complete life change, insta-love, and the ending...? They're so young that it felt odd and much too fast.

Heart Racer by Marian Tee: DNF
It wasn't a bad story; I just couldn't get into it. The setting was confusing. I couldn't tell if it was an alternate universe or not. All the odd pop culture references threw me off.

Love, Lex by Avery Aster: 2-1/2 stars
Again, I wouldn't say the story or the writing was bad. It just wasn't for me. It reminded me of the Valley Girl speak in movies like Clueless. The age, language, and emotion didn't resonate. I don't know if I could read the later books because I really didn't care for the characters. I am completely unsympathetic to Lex.

Savage Heart by Sara Fawkes: 3-1/2 stars
With a shorter story, it can be difficult to set the scene. I like the set up very much, though it could feel like an info-dump at times. Having the heroine be a reporter allowed her to ask questions that also filled in the blanks for the reader - great idea. I would very much like to read more books in this series.

Burnout by Sarah Castille: 2-1/2 stars
Meh

Hot Ride by Opal Carew: 3 stars
It was okay but more erotica than anything else. I did appreciate the writing style, but if don't know if I'll read anymore in this series.

Obsession by Eden Bradley: 4 stars
I like the old lovers reconnecting and learning to love the new versions of themselves. Addiction, bondage, and healing love.

Dirty Delilah by RG Alexander: 4 stars
Second chance at love with...a twist.

Crash Point by Mari Carr: 4 to 4-1/2 stars
Another second chance at love story. Nice blend of sexy and sweet.

Conquista by Suzanne Rock: 2 stars
It was okay, but I had a difficult time submersing myself in the world.

Riding Desire: Alpha Bad Boy Biker Boxed Set (14 BRAND NEW limited edition contemporary romance books)
This box set includes 14 amazing stories by wickedly amazing authors. Although I did receive ARC, I also bought the box set. Yes I love the authors that much, especially author Marian Tee. I totally love all her work. I got the book yesterday and I have already on my fifth story because I am a fast reader but most importantly I did not want to put it down.
The first story that I read was “Fast and Mine” by author Sharon Page. I really love the Alpha male in this story. Sawyer is the tall drink of yumminess that I so would love to taste. He is a wicked hot with a heart of gold not only with his lady but his family. I loved this story. In fact I wish I had met him when I was in college. 
The next story that I read in this wickedly awesome box set was “NICE GIRLS DON'T RIDE” by author Roni Loren. I have to say that I loved her whit especially when the Alpha male and the main female meet. Loved it. To be honest this story had me laughing at some really great jokes that so reminded me of things that I would have said. This was a great story and I think you will agree.
The third story that I read “Three Little Words” was by author Lauren Hawkeye. This was a great story because it combined 2 of my favorite things, music and bikes, especially when woman on the bike hooks up with rocker. Also loved the male lead was from Australia. I love men with accents.
I am making this into a work in progress review since I had to tell others how great this box set was before I was finished so you could start your engines too.
I can honestly say that I totally love this box set. It is well worth the price for such amazing stories.

I only paid 99 cents for this, so even one story would make it worth the money. So I can't say don't buy it. But I can say it ticks me off when I'm expecting an actual story and I get part of a serial novel. I *hate* those, and to have one stuck in the middle of an anthology with no warning really pisses me off. Heart Racer just dead ends, and the second book isn't even available until more than a month after this anthology comes out. If you're going to screw your readers, at least make sure the next book is available for them to buy.

Aside from that one book, though, this was pretty good. There were a couple of stories that were more about sex than romance, but there were enough "love" stories that it was fine. I like erotica, but not sex just for the sake of having a book about sex, KWIM?

Just remembered, I also didn't finish Love, Lex. Too annoying, and not really my style.

My favorite story was Nice Girls Don't Ride. I love the banter in that story!

My biggest issue with the collection was the book How to Debauch a Biker. Pretty sure erotica not supposed to make you cry!

Let me start by saying WOW!!! Want to go on a journey, then get it box set now ;). I haven't laughed so hard or cry so hard while reading in a long time. I had a different feeling for each book and was very pleased with the different journey 's I was taken on. When u start reading, U won't want to stop till all books r complete. Each story takes u on a journey u differently don't want to miss. My only issue with the box set is " the cliffhangers. There r a couple stories that have cliffhangers :(. I don't like having to wait to finish a story. That is y I gave this box set 4 1/2 stars. With that said I LOVE ALL STORIES!! "THIS IS A MUST READ

Obsession by Eden Bradley
This book was a wild ride! I loved the ups and downs in this book, Eden did a wonderful job in writing Janie and Cole's second chance. I can't wait to see more from this new series 'Ink and Iron'. I hope there are books for all the band members and Celine. Great read!

(I have only read certain books in this set and I will update this review after I've read others in it.)

Ready to be captured by some tattooed bikers that are ready to rock a woman’s world and shatter it into a million pieces. That is what you get with this great box set written by 14 great authors. I know shattered me in a million pieces with their writing skills.

Burnout by Sarah Castille
Since I finished reading Barely Undercover it left me wondering when I was going to be able to get to know the Rogue Riders’ MC and now I have had a small preview of what to expect in the future. So in this novella we have Ace, sergeant-of-arms for the Rogue Riders and a cop Sophie that needs to find her brother. Ace comes from a broken home and lived in and out of foster care and Sophie has a broken past that involves an ex-husband that tried to kill her. Now it’s time for her to find her way, stay in the police force or join a vigilante MC gang and fight for the in justice that some people suffer, the justice that they deserve but the police force is not able to help. Loved how I was able to read about some of the previous characters, Ice, Lana, Jackie and most of all Kickstand. I love Ms. Castille’s writing style and her creative mind that just captivates me in all of her work. The characters are well developed and I’m able to connect with each and every one of them. I can’t wait for the other members of Rogue Riders’ get their own book like, for sure Kickstand, Ryder, Viking Dan (needs to come back from Norway) and Lana’s bestfriend Jackie she deserves to be happy.

Fast and Mine by Sharon Page
When I started reading this book I didn’t think I was going to like it very much only because it seemed so cheesy at the very beginning and Claire was so naïve. Only as it went along I really did like it, it was sweet, a little scary because of what Sawyer was going through. My heart goes out to Sawyer because he is such a sweet, caring, passionate person but that’s not all he has huge heart. I like the author’s writing style, the development of her characters but most of all the suspense of what is going to happen to Sawyer, Claire and his loved ones. I look forward in researching more books by this author especially Yardley College Chronicles.

One Wild Ride by Lauren Hawkeye
Levi Sinclair is one hot kinky guy that has me wanting so much more. Then there is Mercedes this shy woman that ends up being the woman to give Levi what he needs but to leave one guy and hop to the next one could she seriously do it. Why of course there is a connection this chemistry between them that is electrifying. Only that I can’t believe that Ms. Hawkeye actually stopped this short story just at the best part just when I was getting to know them and I wanted to see where their relationship was going. I know for certain that I will be keeping my eye out for more of Ms. Hawkeye’s work and especially in regards to Three Little Words.

Full Throttle by Adrianna Hunter
Life is so precious that it’s a shame that you live it the way other people expect you to live your life. Go have fun, do something unexpected maybe by doing that you find out your own way a road that will make you happy. That’s what Aubrey needs to so and maybe just maybe Caleb is the person to help her with that. An awesome beautifully written story that had me smiling throughout the entire short story.

Savage Heart by Sara Fawkes
What can I say about this novella but that I loved, loved, loved it. It is a great start to a new MC series and I know that I will be on the look out to see what will happen to Eve and Ash. It was great to see what they will be facing in their relationship and see if Ash will be able to protect Eve. Well that’s not the only problem it seems that the President of Savage Legion, which just happens to be Ash’s father, and the Vice-President seem to be bumping heads wonder if something is going to happen between them. Only that it seems that Ash also made a promise and I so do not want for it to happen because I don’t think he will be able to do it. I love Ms. Fawkes writing style it’s clear and focused and storyline was captivating. Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

Hot Ride by Opal Carew
Wow that was definitely a Hot Ride that involve a hot MC biker and that loves to be called “Master”. The of course we have a little accountant that needs to get out of her shell and why not with this hunk of a man Rip to make her see that just maybe she can leave her life behind and join him on the open road. OMG I could not believe it while I was reading what Rip will for her to experience but I couldn’t believe that she actually went through with it. Then I have to say one more thing her initiation was certainly scorching HOT. When I first read Ms. Carew’s short story in Unraveled by the name of Taken by the Storm I knew that I would be following her writing. Then I read His to Possess and now I have to say that I am looking forward to the other books in this series due to be released later this fall. I love his Ms. Carew’s writing style it’s descriptive and clear it’ captivating that it leaves you wanting more but not so much that makes you think that you got short changed. I can’t wait for more from this author.

Riding Desire Box Set is the best short stories that I have read this year and yes I know the year just started but I can’t wait to see what these authors have cooking before the end of the year. In these stories you have insecure woman turning into woman that know what they want and know how to get it. You have tattooed hunks finding a special woman that turned their life into something meaningful something amazing and they are not letting them get away no matter what. The writing of these author’s is amazing and they surely know how to make someone just melt into a puddle of goo. The amount of passion, the sexual adventures that these couples go through is scorchin’ HOT and I advise readers advance with caution because you will get burned but in a good way.

Pick this up today you will not regret it!!!

Thanks to one of these amazing author’s who provided me a copy of this ARC for an honest review.

I enjoyed some of the stories in this set more than others, but overall it was a very good collection. The main reason I bought it in the first place was because Roni Loren had a story in it, and she's one of my favorite authors.

Fast and Mine by Sharon Page - I enjoyed this most of the way through it. I felt like the end of it dragged a bit though.

Nice Girls Don't Ride by Roni Loren - This remained my favorite throughout the whole collection. I loved Monroe. I loved the whole story. I knew I would when I started choking on my egg & bagel over this conversation: "Verified that I'm not a serial killer?" Verified that you work for Billy's. The serial killer part is yet to be determined." This story was funny, sweet, and sexy. Roni Loren has never disappointed me with a story.

Savage Heart by Sara Fawkes - I enjoyed this story, but would have enjoyed it more if there weren't some times when character names changed. It left me a little confused.

Burnout by Sarah Castille - This is another I really enjoyed. I liked Ace. And I liked Sophie. And Ace's reaction when he found out she was a cop. After finishing it, I went and added her first Legal Heat book to my wish list.

Obsession by Eden Bradley - This was another one I really loved. Especially since it was one of the ones that didn't involve a one-night stand(or what started as one). I liked that they'd been married and were able to find their way back to each other.

Dirty Delilah by RG Alexander - This was a good, fun read.

Crash Point by Mari Carr - I'd say this one is at #2 on my list. I really loved it. I loved Blake and how him and Chloe came back together. This is another one that I went and added one of the author's other books to my wish list as soon as I finished it.

How to Debauch a Biker by Daire St. Denis - by the title, I figured this was going to be a fun, light-hearted tale. Not so much, but I really enjoyed it. Was a little sad with how it ended, simply because I love a happy ever after and it didn't look like it would turn out that way. It was a little open-ended, so I'll just imagine they found a way to be together. :)

*this obviously isn't every story in the set, just some of the ones I liked the most.

I am a HUGE biker/rock romance reader so this collection of 14 biker/bad boy books was right up my alley! Unfortunately there were a few stinkers in there...I'm not going to call out names...but you know who you are! The ones that are very high school oriented (too young for my taste) and then there are those "books" that are actually "to be continued" short stories that were frankly not worth buying or reading any more sequels!
HOWEVER...on that note, I will say there were some really HOT and I do mean SMOKING hot gems in this collection that are totally biker romances (and very erotic at that!) but you will have to decide for yourself what suits your taste. Pretty much all the books (with a few exceptions) were worth the read and being so short you can read one or two, go away and come back to the next story without having to commit to a huge novel....and easily skip through the ones that don't interest you.
Enough good stuff here to be well worth the tiny price of 99 cents!

****4**** fun, sexy, cool, variety stars !

It's official I do not like short stories. They play with my head. Short stories get me invested then leave me hanging. Although I felt cheated by all of the stories in this compilation I loved them all. Oh how I wish they were longer. I even preordered some of the excerpts. I did enjoy Lex's story by Avery Aster and I can not wait until her next full book comes out. Wattapad is not the same. If you are looking for a couple if quick, easy and good reads look no further and 1 click this now.

As with all anthologies, there are a few stories that I find a bit meh. Several in this set I DNF'd, due to various reasons. However, some of the others were so fantastic that I would have happily paid for them each on their own. Particularly, Daire St. Denis' 'How to Debauch a Biker' was by far my favourite, but I also quite enjoyed the novellas by Sarah Castille, Sara Fawkes, and Opal Carew.

Exactly what you'd expect from these authors

Exactly what you'd expect from these authors

For the most part I enjoyed this book. There were a couple of stories I didn't like but only because I'm not a fan of those kind of stories. The only book I didn't like was the last one. There was no HEA and that is a major pet peeve of mine.

It took me longer than usual to read this boxed set. I love a good boxed set, but I think there are almost too many books in this one. When they all have the same theme (bikers), the stories all start to be too similar and I start to compare them to each other and I feel like I’m not able to be completely objective in my assessments. Therefore, I had to take numerous breaks while reading this one and it took me a couple weeks to get through all the stories. There were a few that I just couldn’t finish. A couple of them I feel like I wouldn’t have finished regardless, but a couple of them I felt like I couldn’t finish because they just weren’t as good as others in the set. I gave it 4 stars, though, simply because there were a couple stories in this set that were TOTALLY worth it to buy the boxed set!

***DISCLAIMER*** I usually don’t give novellas more than 3 stars simply because NO NOVELLA is as developed and truly interesting as a full length novel. (In my opinion) The stories are extra fast paced due to necessity and just, that’s what they are. But, for MY reviews, a 3 star novella is ALMOST as good as a 5 star full length novel. A 4 star novella (kind of like a unicorn when it comes to MY ratings is basically a 5 Star full length novel that I was upset was over so quickly…

*Fast and Mine by Sharon Page – 2 Stars

Claire has crushed on Trey for years. She wants experience kissing, so she turns to Sawyer, a rumored womanizer, to teach her. Claire and Sawyer fall for each other and get their happily ever after. But they almost don’t get it. Sawyer is into illegal street racing and his backers aren’t exactly excited when Sawyer decides he wants to quit racing.

I found the writing style to be juvenile and annoying. The characters were ALRIGHT. Too much stuff is packed into this novella making none of it seem very well developed. Also, I didn’t EXPERIENE the story, I was TOLD the story. Considering it was written in first person, this was especially bothersome. This ISN’T an excerpt, but a general example of what I mean by that: ‘…I smiled. He smiled I walked toward him and my pussy weeped…’ It was just annoying. The storyline definitely had potential, but with as much that happened, I really wish it was a full length novel so the story could be more developed. And the writing needs work, but I can see some potential for this author.

*Nice Girls Don’t Ride by Roni Loren – 4 Stars

Okay. Wow! So this one was fan-fucking-tastic! My only complaint is that it was over WAY TOO FAST! Like, I was thoroughly enjoying the story, couldn’t wait to see what happens next, and BAM! Epilogue. There wasn’t a cliffhanger, I just wanted MORE!

It’s Natalie’s birthday and she’s on her way to meet her boyfriend when her car breaks down. It’s hot as Hades and her boyfriend isn’t answering his phone. Monroe shows up to tow her car. She finds out her boyfriend is a weasel and has a one-night stand with Monroe. Except, it turns into so much more!

I absolutely LOVED Natalie and LOVED Monroe. They were both GREAT! There was snark, witty banter, and hot sex. The sex wasn’t panty-dripping for me, but it wasn’t a bucket of old water either. All in all, a GREAT novella and I’m FOR SURE gonna read more from this author!

*One Wild Ride by Lauren Hawkeye – 3 Stars

I got the feeling this book was part of a series and not the first book in the series, but it doesn’t say it’s part of a series, so I don’t know…

Mercedes wanted to rebel a little so she hit the road with a biker. At a concert, she found the biker fucking another chick. Lucky for her, Levi is one sexy drummer who is more than willing to give her what she needs.

This one was over in the blink of an eye. The entire story takes place in maybe twelve hours. It was short and hot as fuck. A GREAT quick read. REALLY quick.

*Full Throttle by Adriana Hunter – 1 Star (DNF)

I didn’t finish this one. I just wasn’t feeling it. I didn’t have any kind of affection or connection with Aubrey or Caleb. The writing kind of drove my nuts. It just wasn’t my cup o’ tea.

*Heart Racer by Marian Tee – 3 Stars

I got the impression this book was part of a series and not the first book in the series, but it doesn’t say it’s part of a series, so I don’t know…

Leondro is a Greek playboy who needs to clean up his image in order to help his father’s political career. Bobby is a nerdy girl who has an aversion to beautiful men and their egos. It’s only fitting these two fall in love very quickly.

I so wanted to give this one 4 stars because I was sucked in immediately and stayed that way. The lack of editing, however, sufficiently annoyed me enough to stop a star. This is part of a series and ends on a cliffhanger and I definitely want to read more though and will look into more from this author.

*Love, Lex by Avery Aster – 3 Stars

Love, Lex is about Lex’s summer between high school and college and the loss of her v-card. It’s hot, sexy, and hilarious!

You don’t have to read Avery’s Manhattanites series in order to read this story, but it kinda goes along with the Manhattanite series. The Manhattanite series is a series of standalones with each book focusing on a different person in the group of four best friends. Love, Lex is a novella about Lex, one of the Manhattanite BFF’s, when she was younger.

Lex catches her boyfriend cheating on her and one thing leads to another with Lex ending up in jail. Never fear, though, it all turns out fine with Lex having the last laugh – with the uber sexy motorcycle cop who pulled her over. Sex on a motorcycle with a drop-dead-sexy biker cop??? Yes, please!

*Savage Hearts by Sara Fawkes – 2 Stars

This is the first in the Savages MC series.

Eve is a reporter looking for a big story with motorcycle gangs. She meets Ash, the enforcer for one of the area’s most notorious gangs and her story becomes less and less important.

Eve and Ash are alright characters. The both has a smidge of personality disorder though. The thing that bothered me were the inconsistencies in the story. The sheriff’s name changed several times. Everyone would leave a room but then suddenly the room is full again. New people appear from thin air. Like Tom, Dick, and Harry were the three men in the room. They leave and then John stood and followed them out. Who the fuck is John and where did he come from? There were a couple minor editing issues, but the inconsistencies were my main bitch. At the end, it said to look for the continuation of Kane and Eve’s story this summer. Now, I don’t know if I missed something or what, but there was no Kane in the story. I liked it enough to look for the continuation of ASH And Eve’s story this summer though…

*Burnout by Sarah Castille – 2 Stars

Sophie is a cop, her brother is a criminal, and Ace is a biker whose club skirts the law.

I liked Sophie and Ace. I liked that the story was different with her being a cop and him being a criminal (albeit with a Robin Hood complex.)It was overly cheesy for my taste. And it was kind of like a few scenes strung together with a whole lot of storytelling. This Disney princess bedtime story type of storytelling…

Not my cup o’ tea, but not AWFUL. Good if you’re a fan of ridiculous, over-the-top cheese.

*Hot Ride by Opal Carew – 4 Stars

HOLY. FUCKING. HOTNESS!!!

Ummm… There really are no words for the level of hotness this quick read reaches… All I can say is wet panties and re-reading. Again. And again.

My first experience with a ménage of more than three and Im a fan… F/F/M/M/M/M… It was GREAT… I don’t even remember really what the story itself was about (a motorcycle gang…) and I don’t really care! It did was erotica SHOULD do and that was really all that mattered to me with this one.

*Obsession by Eden Bradley – 1 Star (DNF)

I stopped at the fourth chapter and I had no idea who the characters were. In a novella, I want to know the characters from the get-go, but I just don’t care about the ones in this book AT ALL. And there is too much eplanation of literally EVERY detail that even the sex did nothing for me.

I just don’t need SO MANY details about EVERYTHING. Every turn he made driving to his house. A verbal map of his house once he was in it. Almost down to how many breaths he took as he walked to his bathroom.

Others will likely enjoy the story, I’m sure. It just wasn’t for me.

*Dirty Delilah by RG Alexander – 3 Stars

This was a good quickie!

Delilah’s dad owns the building housing a motorcycle repair garage. Asa is the owner of the business. Sebastian owns the building attached to the garage. Delilah always had a thing for Asa and when she comes to town, the sparks fly!

I love a good m/f/m ménage! This one was a bit different from others I’ve read (I haven’t really read a lot of ménages) is that Asa and Delilah are a couple and Delilah has the fantasy of having another guy involved only during sex. So Sebastian can only touch her if Asa allows it. In other ménages I’ve read, it’s the two guys who are friends and enjoy sharing a girl and the guys are equal partners in the sex with the girl. This one was a different and I liked it. I liked the characters, the writing was good, and it did the job…

*Crash Point by Mari Carr – 2 Stars

Blake and Chloe dated one summer when they were teenagers. Then Blake stole money from her mom and disappeared. Ten years later, he’s a cop and their attraction hasn’t dimmed in the slightest.

This one was alright. I suppose it was hot, it just didn’t get my juices pumping if ya know what I mean. I don’t really have any specific complaints, it just didn’t “do it” for me. It probably would do it for plenty of others though.

*Conquista by Suzanne Rock – 1 Star (DNF)

This one is about two shifter tribes in the Amazon. There’s a lot of fighting between the tribes and humans. It seems like an awful lot of politics are involved. I just couldn’t get into it. I’m not REALLY a big fan of shifter stories. There are a couple I’ve liked, but I don’t tend to like the ones that spend quite a bit of time talking about the struggles of the tribe and duties and all that stuff.

The writing was good and I’m sure the story is good. It just wasn’t my cup o’ tea. There are lots of others into these stories. I’m just not one of them.

*How to Debauch a Biker by Daire St. Denis – 1 Star (DNF)

Okay, I read two chapters past the point I almost quit but it didn’t work. I’ve realized that I’m simply not a fan of a female dominant with a male submissive. Especially when the male seemed like an alpha in every sense, even with her.

The story is written in Tessa’s POV but I don’t even know who SHE is, let alone who HE is. The story is all over the place and I wasn’t really following it. Not my cup o’ tea, but I’m sure others will enjoy it immensely.

Updating this with reviews of each as I finish reading :)

Fast and Mine by Sharon Page -- 4 stars

I totally loved this one - Sawyer and Claire are a fantastic couple. While things seemed a bit rushed between the pair of them, I totally loved the dynamics between the pair. Plus there's some good action that gets spun into this one from Sawyer's racing. I'm excited to read more from Sharon Page, especially after hearing this is part of a series!

Nice Girls Don't Ride by Roni Loren -- 5 stars

So. I would like this to be my life. Someone make that happen, k? Hot guy, adventure, and throwing caution to the wind - what more do I need in life?

Roni Loren essentially can do no wrong. This is the best sort of NA story, exactly what I need for me to love NA.

Natalie is awesome - I loved her casting off the shackles that she has let a boyfriend and those around her put her in. She threw caution to the wind, and that is awesome. Monroe is just as awesome - I totally loved him from the moment he walked onto the page.

Essentially, this was an all around win. While I wish it had been a bit longer (because I'm greedy and want alllll the Roni Loren books to be mad long), it was everything I wanted it to be.

Our Wild Ride by Lauren Hawkeye - 4 stars
Meep. It was so short. I always want more from Lauren Hawkeye's books as she writes the best stories. I do wish this one had been a bit longer - it really just flirted with the idea of Levi and Mercedes relationship and I would've loved to see a bit more. That being said, I totally adored Mercedes - what an awesome girl! As always, something fabulous from Lauren Hawkeye :)

I give up; I didn’t finish but I can’t read any more. I thought I would like this collection since the stories are supposedly about bikers (which I am, and which I write about).

Instead I’ve found the same story 14 times over. By that I mean that every story featured essentially the same character: the bad-boy biker and the nerdy (or shy, or outcast) girl. There’s not a whole lot of character development here. Bor-ing! And, frankly, the biker theme was VERY loosely applied.

All characters are very young adult (18-22) which admittedly isn’t my favorite genre. I’m not a fan of “instant sex” in general (I prefer a slow buildup), but apparently I’m even less a fan of it in young adult (or ‘new’ adult). It turns me off to have the boy sucking on her nipple by page 3 when all they know so far is each other’s name.

This is a bunch of short stories, many of which appear to end with a ‘cliffhanger’ - a thinly disguised marketing ploy to entice you to purchase the author’s other works. Not much danger of that, I’m afraid. If you’re looking for intelligent biker fiction, this isn’t it.

Love, love, loved this novella. Great characters, rich emotional intensity, and a glimpse into the sexy, gritty world of outlaw bikers. A great addition to the Legal Heat series but just as easily read as a standalone.

Sophie is a cop who is running from her past. She decides to make a fresh start in Vancouver and meets outlaw biker Ace at her shady brother's party. She decides to throw caution to the wind and bring him home for a one night stand. However, after one night, Ace is smitten and he uses the full force of his personality and the resources of his biker gang to win over a very reluctant Sophie. But when her brother disappears and the cops let her down, she needs Ace's help and the sparks fly. Lots of action and excitement and smokin' hot sex with a very dominant alpha bad boy biker! And it was nice to see a cameo of Ice and Lana from Barely Undercover.

Pretty satisfied with this selection. There was one story I didn't care for, but the others were fairly enjoyable to read. A good collection of stories by various authors that I got for a good price.

I like the boxed sets like this, it's a quick way to get introduced to new authors that you otherwise may not be exposed to.

This collection has to do with bad biker boys, which happens to be one of my favorite things to read so there's not much for me to complain about. Granted, they're not all the macho, dirty, alpha male biker club men that instantly have my tongue wagging so that was a tad of a let down.

I would suggest this collection simply because where else are you going to get this variety of stories without spending a lot of money to do so. 14 different stories so for once, I didn't sit and finish a read all in one sitting which was a nice change of pace for me.

Riding Desire: Alpha Bad Boy Biker Boxed Set

This review is from: Riding Desire: Alpha Bad Boy Biker Boxed Set (14 BRAND NEW limited edition contemporary romance books) (Kindle Edition)
In this Alpha bad boy box set the stories were diverse and true to each authors way of writing. Very entertaining and many stories made me want to read the rest of the series that it was a part of.
Found a new author to follow and read in this set, Marian Tee. Loved the stories that Avery Aster and Mari Carr wrote.

14 stories for a steal! I bought this familiar with the work of about 6 of the authors and found several more to explore and love. Each story is unique while all of them have a Hot Biker at the center!! This collection is perfect for when you have very little free time or an entire weekend. I was looking for characters that I could connect with, instant chemistry, steamy moments and holy hotness alpha male bikers!! This did not disappoint. A great introduction to some talented authors..including two of my favs in Lauren Hawkeye/Jameson and Mari Carr!

Most of the authors in this boxed set are new to me authors. I'm definitely going to check some of their others books. If you like your books very hot and with Alpha bad boys this is for you. It has something for everyone. Can't go wrong with the price, you get 14 books. The ony down side is some of the books you have to buy the next book to find what happens. Not a fan of that, I like a conclusion to the book I'm reading.

14 authors makes this set a bargain! As with all sets, there will be a book or two you don't care for, but this compilation had some great stories that more than mad up for the couple I would have rated individually as 3-star (still, not a bad thing). All in all, a long read (I spread over 2 months, between other stories), with some great writing

I'm giving this a GENEROUS three star rating. A couple of the books lived up to the Bad Boy Bikers title. Two I never got through two chapters. I'm disappointed when I hoped for lots of hot bikers and got some that only raced. So not what I anticipated with this boxed set. At least I got them all for only $0.99. The couple that were really good paid for that.

More of an average of 3.5, just OK from me. This is a boxed set of various different styles of 'bike enthusiast'. There is only a couple that will remind you of even coming close to the stereotypical 'MC bad boy' biker. These show the other styles of bikers that are out there & reminds you that not every biker is in a MC or an outlaw.

All in all this booked set was a totally amazing set of hot biker-related books. I'm quite unhappy that most of the books were part of some series or thy had cliffhangers and in some cases you can't do anything else but to read the next book to find out the ending. I liked how the stories were so different and yet so similar. I can't wait read more from these authors and more books like this.
