Praise for Ashes and Ice:

"For me, Ashes and Ice was a work of art. Rochelle Maya Callen wove a very intricate tale. A love story of sorts. Dark and sinister yet full of hope and light. Callen painted her world brilliantly. This story was intoxicating and electric. I was captivated to the very end."

I laugh way too loud. I am convinced that I will never have a good even tan. Gimme a book and I am in heaven. I have performed in from of 27,000 people and have had raccoons as pets. I like dancing Bachata with my husband, because--well, the man can move! I coach women on Confidence and Intimacy by day and write about dark and broken things by night.

I am the founder of the #HoldOn2Hope project where creatives unite to support suicide prevention.

My daughter is a light in my life and my husband is my anchor. My sister is my partner-in-crime and my mother was the one to give me wings.

I am grateful to be a part of this gorgeous reader/writer world. You all have rocked my world and I heart each and every one of you.

Now, let's get to reading!

Fire and Shadows is the highly anticipated sequel to Ashes and Ice, and a worthy sequel at that. I very much enjoyed reading about Jade's struggle with being trapped and tied to the demon, and her battle to get back to Connor. Giovanni is an interesting one that I will very much like to read about again. The ending left me gasping for more. Like the first book, it is very well written. Can't wait for book 3!

This is the second book in the series. The characters have a new journey in Fire and Shadows. This book is written in six points of view and each character has his or her journey to take. In this book we learn more about each person and they keep me entertained which each twist of every character. Just when you think you have it figured out something new pops up and throws you for a loop. The cliffhanger at the end makes me ready for the next book now.

Love the writing of this series it flows and the way the characters are written makes it easy to form connections with. The struggles and anguish that each of the characters go through especially Jade fighting the enteral demon that is within her is described beautifully. Looking forward to the next installment especially after that ending.

It is a pretty compelling read. The story Is good. I love the characters. I didn't expecting the magic or voodoo, could have done without that. There were also so obvious errors. Overall, it's worth the read.
so, when is book 3 coming?
