The world is his stage… Exodus End’s legendary drummer, Steve Aimes, plays the role of a rock star better than anyone in the business. Since his divorce, he’s embraced every rock ’n’ roll stereotype and uses those vices to keep women at a safe emotional distance, while keeping their physical distance recklessly close. He vowed years ago to never give any woman the power to break his heart again. He just has to keep playing the part, and never drop his guard, and stop obsessing over the keyboardist in their new opening act. He didn’t want Roux’s band on this tour in the first place, but somehow she shattered his barriers without even trying. The only way he knows to save his heart from breaking is to make her his forever, so why does she keep pushing him away?
The stage is her world… Roux Williams knows an opportunity like this only comes around once in a lifetime. Her band, Baroquen, has finally gotten their big break and are opening for Exodus End and Sinners—two powerhouses of rock—on the European leg of their world tour. She refuses to screw up this opportunity by getting involved with Steve Aimes no matter how gorgeous, sexy and surprisingly attentive he is. She can’t deny her attraction to him—the man has the body of a god and the face of a model—but he’s absolutely off limits. Maybe a lust-crazed weekend on a private island will get him out of her system. Or maybe she’ll fall even harder. Once the tour is over they can date, but until then she must keep her distance, because mixing business with pleasure is not only tabloid fodder, it’s professional suicide. But damn, why does he have to be so stubbornly irresistible?
When their worlds are rattled by a ploy staged to destroy them, Exodus End’s infamous bad boy and Baroquen’s not-yet-famous good girl must figure out a way to have it all and each other.
This is book 3 in the Exodus End World Tour series (a spin-off of the Sinners on Tour series). Book 1 (Insider) and Book 2 (Outsider) are also available, but this book can be read as a stand-alone.
Combining her love for romantic fiction and rock ‘n roll, Olivia Cunning writes erotic romance centered around rock musicians. Raised on hard rock music from the cradle, she attended her first Styx concert at age six and fell instantly in love with live music. She's been known to travel over a thousand miles just to see a favorite band in concert. As a teen, she discovered her second love, romantic fiction -- first, voraciously reading steamy romance novels and then penning her own. Growing up as the daughter of a career soldier, she's lived all over the country and overseas. She recently moved to Galveston, Texas.
After Jessica from Chatterbooks Book Blog raved and raved about this author's books and how much she knew I'd love them, I figured it was about time to find out if she was right. She was! So thanks Jess for putting me on to a stellar book! 💜💜
As this was my first read from this author, I didn't know the back stories of the characters or the inner workings of their interpersonal relationships. And that was fine because the author wasn't lying when she said this could be read as a standalone. I wasn't the least bit confused and now I just want to know more about the characters who were on the sidelines of this story.
Anyhoo, the main characters were Steve, the drummer for Exodus End, and Roux, the keyboardist for Baroquen. Steve's best friend was booted from being his band's opening act on the world tour in order to make room for Roux's band. Obviously, Steve was loyal to his bestie and had some hard feelings. But his feelings weren't the only things to get hard at the sight of one band member in particular - Roux.
Jess let me know how freaking sexy this author's work was so I thought I was prepared. And while this wasn't as kinky as I expected, Steve and Roux did NOT lack in passion. However, they shared more of an emotional connection, right from the start, so it added another level to their intimacy. It was never just sex or a good shagging. It was erotic and sensual and loving. It was perfection. *sigh* Who knew a famous rock star, known for being a manwhore, could be so open and vulnerable and romantic? Steve was absolutely incredible and very easy to love. Roux was an amazingly sympathetic character and my heart immediately went out to her. She was a survivor and she had an enormous heart. Watching these two give their all to each other was quite simply beautiful.
So there you have it. On the word of two voracious readers, Olivia Cunning isn't an author to be passed on. Don't be like me and sleep on her series until everyone else has read them and you're the last one left, wondering what took you so long. Maybe, like me, it's hard for you to try a new author. I get it. But if you read no other book from her, because I can't swear her other books are this lovely, than pick this one up. You won't regret it!
I dunno if she's not making them like she used to... There were too many names and personalities and connections to follow, especially when you don't have a good memory like me. The leads and their connection; they weren't enough to keep me interested.
I started this book many many months ago. And I stopped at 20% and I have to say I need to give it up. I love this author and I think she writes the best rock star romance books. So I don't know what was the issues here....
Okay, so, 1000 years later, WE FINALLY HAVE THE NEXT EXODUS END BOOK!!!
I won't lie, I didn't really remember who Steve was, or some of the other characters, but Olivia's writing is absolutely amazing so it didn't take long for everything to come rushing back. Sweet, sexy, very detailed relationship between Steve and Roux. Five-star supporting characters.
I've knocked off a star because, shockingly for this author, a potential gay relationship between Steve and Zach was described as a 'perverse' thing???? And I mean, the people involved would never have been in a relationship, so I kind of see what she means, but that adjective was kind of a bad one to use, IMO.
It dragged a little bit, because 172k words might've been a bit much, but it's been like 3 years so I'm not complaining. Can't wait for Book 3, Ovation!
Olivia Cunning is one of my favorites, so it pains me to write this. But WHAT was this book?!
- [main character] is drugged/date raped and [other main character] keeps pressuring them to report to the police/drag the perpetrator all over the tabloids when the [MC] expressed their reluctance. Respecting agency for survivors, who? (see excerpt under spoiler)
- [main character] stalks [other MC] by finding their address that [other MC] specifically has worked to hide for privacy reasons.
- And then [MC] crumbled like a hot Cheeto when this stalkery behavior was brought up:
- That weird phrasing towards the beginning of the book:
- AND it was a least a third too long. Editing is key.
In 2018 (...any year), this isn't it. I usually love Olivia's work but there isn't enough here to recommend.
This was another winner for me by an author I have come to know and trust, so far I have read every one of the 3 series books that have come out by Olivia Cunning and she does not disappoint. I will say for people who are big fans of her kinky rock stars, this book is slightly different, and for me thats what made me love it even more. I think that having 2 main characters who were so mature and in-tune with each other made a huge difference for me in reading the book. This is not just a story about the drama that can surround 2 people who are both famous, but instead this was a story about how two people fall in love, how they connect, and how they establish their relationship with each other. Now, I will say that the speed of this relationship is mark-5 but if you have previously read Olivia cunning you will know that its just the way she writes these books, its nothing else, and for me I appreciate that she ensures that while the time is short, its usually really spent getting to know each other and this book presented no exception to that rule. I have to also say that I loved every minute of these two. I think Steve is such a great character because he exists as this dichotomy, in that he has this public persona as an asshole, but the truth is that even to most of his band-members, that's how he is seen, and then he meets the beautiful and intriguing Roux, and so much changes. I think that the way these two interact was my favorite part because they are so great together, and they understand each other so well. I have to also say that I loved the relationship between Steve and his best friend Zach, I think that these kinds of bonds are often missing in books as authors try so much to get us through the romance part, but its always great to know that people have lives outside of their significant others, because IRL thats how it is. Honestly I loved returning to this world, and I CANNOT WAIT FOR DARE because I have had a crush on him since book one of the Sinners! Can't wait to read his!.

God, where to start? This book was such a good read, fun, entertaining, hot and sweet! Loved both characters, and their families. Now I want Dare's book so bad! Can't wait for more Exodus End! Hopefully the next two books won't take as long to be written as this one (2 years was too long... I can understand a year, but two? Mmmm).
Anyways, glad Olivia Cunning could finish it! Happy read to everyone!
*SBTB Quarterly Challenge- January 2. So Long 2018:: Read a book published last year.* Goodreads, how could you let me down like this? You didn't tell me there was a new book from Olivia Cunning? I had to figure it out myself three months later? I'm not mad, just disappointed. Anyway, the book itself was ok. The hero and heroine's initial antagonism lasted for about five minutes before they both became as mushy as spring snow. There was very little internal conflict between the couple; it was all external and felt a bit contrived. The antagonists plot has been brewing for the last few books, and it sorta went nuts here. The major plot point that happens at the end felt undercooked - it could have made a big statement but didn't. Hopefully this plot is officially dead. Frankly I found the secondary characters more intriguing, especially Zach and Iona. Personally I think Iona is perfect for Max - she wouldn't put up with his bullshit. And I reckon a single mom would be good for Dare. He'd make a great dad.
~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~
This is the third book in this series (and links in with the Sinners series too). It is an absolutely wonderful read, and moved the band's story forward a lot, as well as giving Steve his chance at a true HEA. I would definitely recommend that you read these books in order, as they really are installments in a bigger story. Just as the second one (Outsider) overlapped some of Insider, this too starts before the conclusion of Outsider ... and reminds us of the first time that Steve met Roux!
By the end it is difficult to believe that he said some of those things, but we certainly understand what had provoked him to become such a person. But strip away the layers, and Steve is the ultimate good friend, wonderful boyfriend, considerate lover, and devoted only to Roux. I absolutely loved watching him come out from under the cloud cast by Bianca, and it is a delight to see how deep his friendship with Zach is too. Add in his family, and all the other tests that he has to put Roux through to ensure that she truly is 'the one'. I cannot tell you more, as you need to read it and enjoy every page.
Roux had a truly horrific incident in her childhood that nearly ended her life, however being fostered by the most amazing woman - who gave all her charges musical instruments and the desire to make music - gave her a second chance at life. All her band mates in Baroquen are fellow foster sisters, and I love their names, costumes and attitude.
This really is a fabulous book, so find yourself a chunk of time and go and give yourself a fabulous treat. I cannot wait for the next book in the series ... as Olivia Cunning says in her comments at the end ... this is going to be a big challenge ... it is time for Dare !
A really delicious slow burn rock star romance. I loved Roux and Steve (and the appearances of other much loved characters) I'm looking forward to reaidng more about the Baroquen girls at some point in the future.
It was going really well but there was a twist at the end that wasn't well handedly done and it pissed me off. That's why the low rate. Otherwise it was a sweet and sexy book.
The long wait for the third Exodus End book is finally no more! Olivia Cunning delivered Steve Aimes's story and it's a doozy. He's much deeper than expected and I loved watching this party boy fall hard for the beautiful Roux. Lots of new characters were introduced and I'm looking forward to their future stories as well. The book was a bit long and girthy (kind of like Steve!) and at points, I did wish it would speed up a bit during the first half but overall, it's a great story and I was happy to finally be emersed back in the world of these amazing rockstars. Can't wait for Dare's story which is up next!
STAGED Offers the Best and Worst of Humanity http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/201... A new opening act has come on board for Exodus End’s much vaunted world tour, with dramatic results.
This novel runs 17 hours which is a long time for a steamy, contemporary romance of the rock-n-roll variety. It doesn’t seem long, or as if there is a lot of filler. While the relationship develops quickly, it is over a period of at least a month. But then again, there are events which seem to have occurred a week or so ago is referred to as having occurred the one or two nights before. It’s not so much dates but the amount of other occurrences in the story: concerts, travels, meals, workouts, etc.
It is a common issue for me in contemporary romance but, maybe I just live a slower, more boring life.
There’s a new band involved; a Goth-dressing, “Girl-band,” creatively named, Baroquen. The women involved are foster sisters who each come from a horrific situation but were saved by a wonderful foster mother and music professor. It’s nice, and unusual, to read positive things about a foster parent. I think the band members are a new series in the making — only Roux’s history is explicit, the others’ histories are very little hinted at. The rest of Exodus End, except Dare, I think, are taken, the Sinners, I think, are all married, but I guess the band, Sole Regret has a couple of openings for girlfriends.
Early in the book I found Steve Aimes, a drummer in his thirties, to be immature in his actions, reactions, and sexual language. I wouldn’t care about his prowess in bed or on the stage, his good looks might turn me on but only until he opened his mouth. First , he’s mad that his friend’s band was canned as opening act and he blames Baroquen for it. But, knowing the music business it’s rather ridiculous as he would know it was the decision f the “Simon LeGree-esque” manager. His life experiences, and his very nice family to whom we’re introduced, lead me to believe this character would be a more mature person. m On the other hand, Roux, is a more mature character in her mid-twenties, a survivor of a family tragedy. It’s event so awful it’s hard to believe this woman could actually function. While Cunning reveals her physical ordeal, and is blunt about what occurred, she never mentions the therapy she would have had to have undergone, and would probably still be undergoing. But Roux’s resolve is amazing, and she would have to be very grown-up to have survived and flourished.
There are other Steve-based, story lines in addition to the love story between Roux and Steve: the story line of of a “journalist” obsessed with him comes out of Logan and Toni’s story and is ongoing, Steve’s and Max’s conflict with their manager is as well. So we have the bad side of humanity, but the story also offers fine examples of fun, love, friendship, chosen-family, and salvation. It’s also full of the more fun aspects of the rock-n-roll world, tours, fans, performance and of course sex.
I think I have determined that I think erotic fiction is mostly hotter, that is, more erotic when I read, rather than listen to, it. Purely personal, although my =husband who listens to a fair amount because we live together has concurred. It can just sound a little ridiculous when I hear it out loud; particularly, the use of slang associated with sex. Cunning is not shy in the use of the terminology.
Honestly, I listened twice to the entire book. The narrators seemed natural and appropriate. Both have nice voices and with the exception of the foster-mother, the accents — even the joke accents — were fine.
I enjoy Cunning’s stories, her unapologetic and enthusiastic writing of erotic scenes, and how she relates the world of rock-n-roll. Her characters are crazy but all have serious musicianship. There are bands with long histories, and some just starting out. All her characters have real people problems, and put on their pants, as Cunning, in one case says, one leg at a time.
The book is great fun, and very dramatic. But, like some of the bands, this series has a long history and this one is quite wrapped up with at least two of the series so you probably don’t want to jump in to the series here start off with an earlier volume. But, you don’t have to necessarily read them all; I have missed a few but still caught on to the story lines.
Roux’s best friend was Raven who was the bands stylist. Raven was also her foster sister. The band Roux was a part of with other foster sisters was Baroquen. Each of the five women had a different color for the costume as well as hair to offset the black goth dresses and makeup they wore in public. Roux color was red. Roux barely recognized herself when in costume. She was the keyboardist of the up and coming band that would soon go on tour with the most highly regarded metal band in existence-Exodus End. They were supposed to meet the members of Exodus End that evening and attend a party as their special guests. Roux had been Raven’s roommate since they’d been preteens. Roux knew they were truly blessed by the opportunity Sam- Exodus End manager- by signing them to a new record deal and as an opening act for the real stars he represented. Roux’s life had gone from subdued to overwhelming within a month. Steve was Exodus End’s drummer and hot. Nothing had prepared Roux to meet him.Than he got in the car and said” the hookers are already here”nad then added “ I call Red”. Steve wondered what she looked like without the dark and heavy makeup, without the fancy clothes, with all her barriers down. He guaranteed he’d know before the night was over. Once Steve knew that their band ousted Zachs band Twisted Element, they were the enemy. Zach was Steve’s best friend. Steve didn’t do emotional attachments. Not since Bianca- his ex wife- destroyed his naturally romantic nature and replaced with the cynical man left standing. When Steve approached Roux at the party she turned her back to him. It had been a long time since a woman had rebuffed him, even longer since one posed a challenge. Roux accepted his apology for what he had said, excused herself and walked away from Steve. He followed her and said “your drink” and Roux told him she didn’t drink, and she wasn’t interested so go bother someone else. He actually felt a stab of hurt with the added knife thrust of insecurity. Roux went out on the balcony and Steve followed and she told him her father had been an alcoholic. Her foster mother-Mama Ramona who had raised them all-had introduced her and her foster sisters to music. Roux had started living with them when she was twelve. Steve said she didn’t seem bitter about the family situation. Roux said why be bitter? The woman took her in, showed her love, taught her how to believe in her dreams, how to make a future for herself, gave her the gift- and curse of a dozen sisters. On top of all that she taught Roux how to play the piano. Steve asked about her family and she said her father had killed her entire family shot her and then killed himself, somehow she survived. She showed him the scar where her father had shot her. The scar was the only external reminder of all her other scars. Ones that ran so deep she would never forget. She wasn’t sure she would have ever moved on without music. The classical piano soothed her aching soul. The angry rock she’d alter discovered had become an outlet for her rage. Steve hugged her to comfort her than Sage came looking for her for a group picture. Roux stood on her tiptoes and kissed the corner of Steve’s mouth- a chaste kiss but Steve took charge of the kiss and it burned through her body. Everytinme Roux started to think Steve wasn’t the biggest butthole she ever met, he immediately proved her wrong. I loved this book. I only put it down to get some sleep for a couple hours. I wanted to see what would happen next with Roux and Steve. I loved Steve and Roux together and how they interacted. There chemistry was off the chart- there are alot of sexual scenes in this book-. I loved the relationship Roux had with Raven and the rest of her foster sisters and Mama Ramona. I loved the relationship Steve had with Zach and his family especially his grandfather. I have another new favorite book. I loved the plot and pace. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it. **I voluntarily read and reviewed this book
Way back when I got my first kindle I found a free book I liked the sound of. It was Brian and Myra's story, the first Sinners book. I loved it and went on to buy the rest. I wasn't so taken with the Sole Regret novels, liked them but as one off reads. I was so keen to read Exodus End books, having met Dare several times in Sinners novels. I'm still keen to read his story, he's a solid, quiet, unassuming guy, and I think his novel will be special.
Still, we're book three into Exodus End, and I'd expected to devour this story. I'll be honest, Steve wasn't one of my favourite characters, but we see some suprising depth to him here. At first though I really disliked him, sulky and sullen, whining because his best friend's band has been replaced as opener, and the way he treats ladies....yep, he was misogynistic. Speaking of his best friend, Zach is a great character, and though he's not involved in any of the bands so far, I think he has a great story in him.
I really wanted to like this story, but it took a while before events of last two books came to me, its been a while and several hundred novels since I read them. As well as the characters we already know, there are quite a few new ones. I did find this and some of the plot-lines a bit confusing, and at times the story was hard to believe, mainly the Tamara/Bianca/Susan aspect. I felt too, that in this book the sex became the story – its fine for many readers but not me. In other novels the sex has always been to the fore, these are very erotic novels after all, but balanced with solid plots. Here the main plot seemed pretty thin, much of it only developing in last part of the book, and at a pace that felt rushed. I felt there were pages and pages and pages of sex, interspersed with a little bit of story and then yet more sex. To be honest after a while its gets boring, there's only so many times I want to read about sex, only so many ways to write it without it becoming repetitive. Here it became just mechanics rather then sensual. There were several times when I felt the sex and the conversations about sex became OTT, frankly reading about Roux not being hungry any more because she'd had too much come, ( no I just can't use the US expression...) and whether it was vegetarian or not was more than I wanted to read. Likewise his request for her to text him everything – even when she was “having a dump”. Really, that's a good line – or lines, it came up more than once- for the story??
Then there's That event, which I felt was incredibly serious, sadly happens too often, but between brushing it off or demanding it be reported I felt it wasn't really given enough time, not the treatment it deserved. When copious pages have been devoted to sex surely a few more could have been spared for this. Its a horrific thing to happen, would it have been treated this way if it happened to a female? I felt it really let down its importance that it was just added almost as a quick filler plot.
Stars: Two. Overall this book wasn't a success for me. I still love the others and want to read Dare's story, but this one just didn't cut it.
I was so surprised and excited to learn that Staged, the third book of Exodus End, was released after an extensive wait. There was not a lot of buzz before the release, but being a groupie of Olivia’s rock-gods, I one-clicked it in no time.
I absolutely love this sexy, heart-warming, slow-burning rock-star romance. As usual Olivia delivered another well written story which had a great balance between erotica and romance. The sexy times were abundant and descriptive - definitely kindle-melting HOT!! Instead of shaking up the tour bus, they joined the mile high club in a private jet. The romance was sugary sweet. The chemistry and pull between Steve and Roux was real and tangible. Who would have thought bad boy Steve was such a hopeless romantic.
The side story line regarding who was behind the publicity stunts that intended to destroy them was finally revealed. Roux’s wits to outsmart the evil associates were exhilarating. The Baroquen girls were interesting and intriguing. I am so looking forward to continuing the world tour with Exodus End and perhaps future books of the Baroquen girls.
One side note – even though the book was advertised that it can be read as a stand-alone, I don’t think one would enjoy the book as much because of the complexity of the characters involved. There were too many characters mentioned in the book. There were two bands – the Exodus End and the Baroquen, each with five members, plus their significant others, a few members of the Sinners, another headliner of the tour, their manger and two other key players in the story. With me being a groupie since the Sinners, it still took me some time to get back in their world and remember their roles and relations. I think a newbie would be too overwhelmed by the complexity. I don't think you will have to go as far back to the Sinners on Tour series (you totally should; it’s super good), but you should definitely at least read Insider (book 1) before reading this one.
So let me just start off saying that I love me some Olivia Cunning. I fell in love with her when I read her Sinners on Tour series. One of the issues that I I'm having with this new series is the fact that there are a lot of outside factors and so much random drama. I do not mean to compare this series with Sinners but there is a huge difference when it comes to writing. In this series there seems to be a lot of outside people in order to make the story more intense. There is so much drama going on that it seems to not a true story at all.
Olivia has always written these Rockstar books with a lot of sex however lately it seems as though sex is the main focus and a plot just seems to be completely and utterly secondary. I understand that these characters are rockstars so sex drugs are the staple however in her previous series there was respect, love, understanding, and trying to get to know one another on a deeper level versus just sex all the time.
With Steve and Roux it just seems as though there was no deeper connection. Yes they had a couple of moments but it seems as though sex was the driving force within their relationship. I am honestly biding my time until we get to Darren's book because it should be great. We've got a bit of background on him and what I have learned about him seems to me it is going to be fantastic.
I will admit this, I am very interested in Roux's sisters. I want to get to know more about them and what each of their backgrounds are. I really hope that Olivia starts to go back to plots versus sex because I don't mind a good book with a lot of sex but I'd rather have a book with a couple scenes with better plots versus all sex scenes and no plot. If I wanted to read straight smut I would not have chosen this author.

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a stand alone and we are still following the members of the rock band Exodus End.
Steve Aimes is the drummer for the band and has been a bit of a party animal and man whore since his divorce from Bianca many years ago, however when he meets Roux he changes. Steve is a man with a big heart who can only love completely, he truest has a soft heart and Roux just does it for him.
Roux is in an up and coming band and initially things do not go well with Steve, however he keeps doing sweet things for her, but it is her promise to her band that stops her from anything more with Steve initially.
As Steve and Roux get to know each other they cannot help but get closer and we also see more from The American Enquirer publication and the characters behind it. The plot thickens even further.
The start of this book happened along side the other books, then takes a leap to the european tour where we see previous characters in their happy lives together.
I look forward to Dares book next and i also look forward to see what will happen with Max. The books cannot come out fast enough. There is also an idea that the girls from the band Baroquen will get their own books too in the future.
This one is one hot rock star erotic novel. Exodus End drummer Steve falls for Roux the keyboardist of their new opening act Baroquen. They fall really quickly in love in each other but it is a problem Roux wants their relationship to begin after the European tour because she doesn't people to say their relationship was the one who gave them to be the opening act. But that is not all that those two lovebirds have to worry. There is still the tabloid who wants to destroy Steve reputation and the band manager. I liked the story, plot and the characters. Steve was just a wonderful character full of love and just wants for someone to worship. Roux was also very likable, loved her reaction and how she treated the uncomfortable article. She showed her strength, love and a smart head. What bothered me and made for me a book a little boring was so much of their lovemaking, they were doing it on and on, on their special weekend on the plane, on the tour. It was great described and written, hot, but just a little bit too much. I really enjoyed reading it and was really happy with the end of the book. I am interested to see what all will happen in the book of Dare. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
I want MORE, I want DARE like now lol but I am so glad we got Steve’s story. This book was fantastic. I am a super fan lol I am invested, Sinners is one of my favorite series. Olivia can do Rock Stars and do them well.
Steve Aimes is a secret sweetheart! I love the relationship he has with his band and with his best friend.
When he falls, he falls hard, I love that his bandmates know this about him as well. His past relationships really kicked him in the teeth, so he is cautious and you can’t blame him either. But when he saw Roux his world is about to get turned upside down and I AM THERE FOR IT!
Roux’s background will hurt your heart and I like the response Steve has to it. <3 I love that even though Roux has had a rough start in life she was placed with the best foster home anyone could have asked for. Her sisters are all amazing. These two are made for each other and the drama around them. I want Dare’s book like now lol did I already say this because it is not less true. I loved the way this book ended. I am left smiling and wanting more the best way to end a book in my opinion.
Hot drummer romance....anyone? My first book by this author and I have to say....what a pleasure! Steve Aimes is a drummer for band Exodus End when the beginning act is changed. All female band Baroquen takes stage for the European tour. Roux the keyboardist for band Baroquen takes an insta dislike to Steve when he basically calls them hookers upon meeting them....let the good times roll.
What did I like? Instant attraction for Roux and Steve, highly enjoyable. I really loved Steve’s soft side and his really generous nature towards Roux. When we first find out why Roux grew up in a foster home it really makes you want the rest of the bands story. I devoured this book but it had me hooked for the six hours it took me. Great read!
Would I buy or recommend? Yes....Yes....all yessss. This was my only read by this author in this series, so easily a stand alone. I’d love the others. Great rock star romance!
Thoughts for the author! Amazing book! Kudos to a great job, it was highly entertaining and had some thought provoking moments. Five stars!
