Because Kennedy isn't just some random girl trying to break into the advertising business. She's someone who has a connection to Red and Nicole, and she's determined to get closer to them, at any cost.

But Kennedy is shocked when, instead of working for Red Jameson, she finds herself at the beck and call of Red's new Chief Operating Officer, Easton Rather.

And Easton is not impressed with Kennedy's high IQ, her ivy league background, or anything else. But he does want something from her. Something that might just cost Kennedy everything, and force her to reveal secrets that will throw everyone's lives into chaos.

Kennedy wants to get to know her half sister, Nicole, Red's wife, who kicks her out of the house and does not want anything to do with a person claiming to be a half sister. Easton feels used by Kennedy and doesn't want anything to do with her. Kennedy goes home in tears not expecting to hear from Nicole or Easton. Even though Nicole does not want a relationship with Kennedy, she lets her know that as far as she is concerned, Kennedy still has a job. Kennedy hopes in time Nicole will forgive her, and that they can be sisters. Kennedy has fallen hopelessly and lustfully for Easton and wants him to be the one to teach her how to be his submissive. She still has her job, but how she can entice Easton? Read the recommended Under His Control by Kelly Favor (For His Pleasure, Book 18).

This series was awesome

I couldn't put it down. I love multi-dimentional plots. This series had so much going on that I literally got lost in it in a great way.

Author: Kelly Favor
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Title: Under His Control (For His Pleasure #18)
Synopsis: Taken from goodreads

Twenty-two year old Kennedy Saunders is running away from her old life at MIT, and running towards a new life in New York City. A new life working for Red Jameson--and hopefully much more than that.

Something that might just cost Kennedy everything, and forces her to reveal secrets that will throw everyone's lives into chaos.

Characters: I thought that Easton could potentially be my favorite of this series but now I’m not entirely sure. He is so hot and cold…I think I will go back to Brysan and Scarlett.

Kennedy Sanders seems to rely more on her beauty than her brains in this book – she seems to play hard to get with Easton but then serves herself on a silver platter. I want to ask her where her self-respect is but then again I am not even close to being a submissive. We find out more why she ran away from her predictable, boring life to NYC.

Easton Rathers puts his job before a relationship with Kennedy. Fair. He doesn’t know her. Then the tables turn and Easton pursues Kennedy. You glint an insight to how a relationship between the two of them would be. It makes me wonder if Easton will drop his alpha-Dom wall a little to let baby bird Kennedy in.

Kennedy’s neighbor is putting the moves on her left and right and it’s kind of turned a little creepy towards the end. I wonder if Easton will have to put his boxing skills to use in Book 19.

Writing Style (POV): This book is written in Kennedy’s present day POV.

Background: The waters are rocky between Nicole and Kennedy and Kennedy and Eason throughout this book. I wonder if this is actually the calm before the upcoming storm or if they are in the storm now. It’s hard to tell. Nicole admonishes Kennedy for her secretive behavior and pushes her out of her life…for now. Easton is angered that Kennedy ‘used’ him and pushes her away…also for now. There are breaks in his exterior but he still has thick walls that will need to be broken down.

Cliffhanger? HEA? There will always be a cliffhanger in all of Kelly Favor’s books followed by a HEA, so come to expect that. This book wasn’t such a large cliffhanger as book 17 since we now know the reason behind Kennedy’s secrets and pursuit to work for Red.

Evaluation: I was frustrated with Nicole during her breakfast with Kennedy. Yes, Kennedy was sneaky and should have been honest up front…but Nicole’s life was turned upside down just as much as Kennedy’s was. I wanted to flick Nicole in between her eyes and tell her to wake up. She wasn’t the sweet character she normally is but rather a jealous hard ass. I would have figured that by book 18, Nicole would be able to trust Red.

I would recommend this series but I think $2.99 is a high price for 80 pages…I think the stories have gotten seemingly shorter since the first books of ‘For His Pleasure’, which is extremely disappointing since this series has substance to it.

Kennedy was doing too much for me in this one. She was trying to hard to get Easton to be with her especially for someone without any experience. Then for her to drop the bombshell that she did at a time like she did was too much to even take her serious. It's starting to be if you read one you've read them all. Can you get one of these silly females to not grovel and chase after these men? Just one to want to be with them but not on their terms and give them some sort of challenge? Think it's time for a break from this series.

I have fallen in love with all the couples I have meet in the For His Pleasure Series. Kelly Favor books just kept me coming back for more.

In this book you meet Kennedy Sanders & Easton Rather.

Kennedy Sanders who has run away from her life at MIT and her family.

Easton Rather works for Red Jameson who we meet in earlier books. He is Red's new chief Operating Officer.

I would recommend the series For His Pleasure and any Kelly Favor book.

I do love this series, but I don't know how I feel about the main character. She seems almost idiotic in her naivete sometimes, and I don't like that she has so little control and back bone. I guess I've been sucked into the narrative of a strong woman meeting a strong man and holding her own, and it just seems like she gets bulldozed way too often. By Easton, by Nicole...I don't know if I like this new thread as much as I've liked the other stories. But, we shall continue on nonetheless.

I like where the story is heading, though Red and Nicole are kind of pissing me off at this point though I am sure it will change. I can see this Blake guy being a huge problem in the future. I love Kennedy's desire to keep on trying with all aspect of the things she wants. I really do love this series and I will be sad the day that it is completely finished.

I have mixed emotions. I felt like not enough happen in this book for a whole book in this series compared to the others. I just felt cheated in a way. I will continue the series. I hope book 19 is worth the wait.

really, she did say she was sorry the way it came out, but for her to say to keep away from her family is one thing, she should take it out her dad! not her.. looking to read the next book but 83 page is really not a book. sorry..

Hot.Hot.Hot!!

I need more of their story asap. I feel utterly scared and excited for Kennedy. Easton is being a real jerk for the most part but he's so mysterious and exciting and sexy you can't help but want him.
