I think this may be the best romantic suspense I've ever read !

- I absolutely loved Josie, her big mouth, her strength and her no-nonsense attitude ;
- I loved the story (even if I found the beginning a little abrupt, I didn't know Partners in crime was part of a bigger series, but it didn't impair my understanding of the events) ;
- I loved the badass vilain, yup, I did !
- I loved the more or less angry banter between Josie and Straight Arrow Stryker ;
- I loved the tension rising more and more ;
- I loved (and hated) the tunnel part - Lisa Gardner has a way of making me highly uncomfortable that I love because it showcases the courage of her heroins - I'm a bit claustrophobic myself...

Once I'd devoured this three-part novel, I only wanted one thing : throw everything I had to do to the wind and dive in the only two Lisa Gardner books I haven't read (yet) !

Who is Joanna Jackson?

Is Josie innocent or isn't she?
l had rated all three books a five star. The story line is getting better and better and I didn't want to put the book down.

We are getting so close to finding out what happened to cause someone to want the Mayor dead.

Enjoy reading book 3 to get all the happenings of the investigation of the murder suspect. Is it really Josie with her long blonde hair that killed her best friend who was like a second Mother to her or could someone else matching her description really kill the Mayor?

Happy reading!
