As a devastating summer storm hits Grand Springs, Colorado, the next thirty-six hours will change the town and its residents forever….
Cinderella Story Part 3
When millionaire Alex Bennett waltzes into waitress Nina Lindstrom's life and takes care of her son's medical bills, it's like a dream come true. Soon a whirlwind engagement leads to a marriage proposal, but it's all about as real as a fairy tale—a business arrangement that's a marriage in name only. Nina wants more out of life. Her feelings for Alex are real, but what will it take to melt Alex's heart?
Don't miss the next book in the continuing story of Grand Springs, Father and Child Reunion by Christine Flynn.
Betty Marie Wilhite had always wanted to write. She married Doug, and they had three boys, the first was Douglas Jr., four years later Benjamin, and nine years later the last, Matthew. The family lived in Wilmington, Delaware. She began writing romances soon after Matthew was born. She wrote under the pseudonyms of Betsy Page, Elizabeth Douglas, Elizabeth August and Kathleen Ward.
I was very disappointed by the carbon copy of the same story in all three parts. Why was no farther story of their marriage written in 2 or 3. Very strange way to treat your readers.
Does Nina accept Alex's proposal for marriage? Nina has so much going on with Tommy being in the hospital and then Alex offered for her to manage and to restore the diner.
The contractor is starting to fall for his boss Nina and his flirting with her and word gets back to Alex that he is coming on to Nina. Alex isn't happy to find out that this is going on he puts a call into the contractor and Alex orders him to stayaway from her.
Nina gets a phone call from the hospital Tommy is ready to come home. When she goes to her mother-in-law's house to tell her the good news is decided that the mother-in-law will keep Tommy on the days that Nina is working.
Helen ask Nina if she still had feelings for Alex. Nina told her she will let her know tomorrow will she say she's still having feelings for Alex.
Oh dear, Alex is even more of an ass in this one. Didn't like him at all.
And as for Nina, well, I didn't like her either. I could understand some of her points, but still.
I didn't like it how every time she was upset at him, she voiced it and then apologized for it, because he made her feel bad about it. She was right half the time, why apologize like that? He also had WAY too much control over her life.
The story line was good and once it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I did enjoy it but just not as much as I did For Her Eyes Only the Frist book in this set. This was worth reading but just not not really for me. I may go back at a later date and read the next one in this sears but for mow this is where I stop.
