Yes, there was a love story between Mark and Sophia (plus some smokin' hot bedroom scenes) and a little mini romance which we get to see the beginning of and then nothing more. Yes there was suspense and terrorists but not until 75%. If you've read the previous books (which I haven't), you'll be happy to know there are plenty of the previous peeps in this one. There was just too much other stuff that the romance and suspense kinda got lost. Oh, he keep calling her vagina a peach, every time. It was a nickname. It was just a peach.

YAY IT IS MARC'S BOOK - Also I apologize for spelling his name Mark in the previous book. PS. I also don't care if I misspelled his name wrong.

Cruisin' For a SEAL was basically a book about trying to find out who the creepy guy was. Every book in this series has one .. and that's why I think this needs a drinking game! Whether it's finding the crazy psychotic character or the words describing the vagina or dick - it's definitely worth a shot of getting tipsy or drunk.

In this book, you will meet Marc and Sophia. Now let's not get confused with Sophie, who you met in the previous book. I liked Sophia for Marc.. but Sophia was something and someone he needed a lot more. It was a bit weird that their names were so similar.. but I was on board from the beginning.

Their chemistry, smut, and romance was amazing. It just sucked that they had so much drama going on between them. Whether it was the whole fact that she was basically engaged and going to meet her finance at the end of this cruise.. or that they were just casually falling in love with one another and the sex they were having.

The other drama was just okay. I didn't really understand the whole snakes, bomb, or the gang threat.. but whatever. I just kind of went with it when random Russian characters popped in. Other than that, I liked the book. Even though it was weird.. I was willing to dive into the next one.

ARC provided by the Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

WOW!! Scorching hot sex, a plot that could have been ripped from tomorrows headlines and edge of your seat suspense. This book is about as good as it gets.

Mark and his SEAL teammates and wives and girlfriends are in Italy about to board a cruise ship for Brazil. Mark is in a melancholy mood and meets up with an Italian woman who blows his world apart for the afternoon.

As fate would have it, Sophia is a dancer on the cruise and she has some problems of her own, including her unstable dance partner. Mark notices little things that seem off about some of the crew and ferrets out a plot against the ship. SEALS to the rescue, I just love it!

Vikki’s Musings

I met Sharon Hamilton at A Day with the Authors in Nashville, Tennessee where she was the key-note speaker. I had read the first four books in the SEAL Brotherhood Series and enjoyed them immensely. After talking with Ms. Hamilton, I agreed to review the audio version of Book 5, Cruisin’ For a SEAL, for an honest review. I also had the opportunity to meet J.D. Hart, the narrator of this deliciously sexy addition to this awesome series.

Mark Beale has arrived in Savona, Italy. His SEAL team are taking a Mediterranean cruise where they plan to scatter the ashes of their good friend Gunny, the late owner of the gym they all go to back in San Diego. While spending time with his teammates and their wives at a local café, he sees a stunning brown-eyed beauty and for the first time in months, his libido kicks in with a vengeance. When she approaches him and leads him away from the café to her apartment, he follows with barely a moment’s hesitation.

After spending the afternoon having the most fulfilling sexual encounter of his life, they part the same way they met, at the piazza. As he watches her drift away, he feels the same coldness he’s felt since Sophie’s death. For one glorious afternoon he had lost himself in the arms of this mysterious stranger, a woman whom he does not even know her name.

When he discovers she is a dancer on the cruise ship the next day, he wonders if fate has stepped in. Is there any chance that the amazing feelings he is developing for the beautiful Sophia could turn into a love that will rival the relationships his buddies have found?

Cruisin’ For a SEAL has all the ingredients of an erotic tale with plenty of hot SEALs and a lot of steamy sex with a dash of romantic suspense thrown into the mix. I enjoyed Mark’s character a great deal and was glad to see him find his ‘happily ever after’. While I grew to like Sophia’s character as the book progressed, it took me aback when I found out she was engaged to another. I did like that the couple refrain from giving into their passion until after Sophia made the decision that she could not marry her fiancée. Of course once she made that decision, the sex between the pair had my ears burning.

J.D. Hart has one of the sexiest voices I have had the pleasure of listening to. And wow, just wow! He handled all the different accents of this huge cast of characters, bringing a distinct voice tone for each one of them. So many times, I have a hard time with the female voices when a male is reading, but Mr. Hart gave Sophia’s character a sultry, feminine quality. I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by him. Oh, and did I mention he looks as sexy as he sounds?

If you are looking for a highly erotic love story with romantic suspense elements and an awesome hero, then you will love Cruisin’ For a SEAL by Sharon Hamilton. I can’t wait to read the next book in this exciting series! I’ve been warned that I will need a fan to cool myself down. That’s hard to imagine because there’s plenty of hot, hot sex throughout this book. Happy reading!

I was excited to have Mark’s story because I fell in love with him in Seal the Deal. I will say that I was a little disappointed and did feel this was a rushed ‘love-at-first-sight’ relationship with Mark and Sophia, I thought the connection he had with Sophie was much stronger and felt more real. But I pushed through that, and did end up enjoying the book. I do have to admit, though, I think my favorite part was Fredo and Mia, and without giving any spoilers, that’s all I can say about that!
Since most of our guys from Seal Team 3, along with their wives/girlfriends, were together on this cruise it was great to get caught up with everyone and see the passion in their respective relationships is still burning HOT!
My main wish, and the thing I was most disappointed with, was not having more of the story on Gunny’s passing and only having mention of them coming on the cruise to spread his ashes and then never getting the story of them actually doing so. This may not bother any other of the readers, I just really loved Gunny’s character.
There was mystery, suspense, and danger all mixed with hot and steamy romance from several of SEALs we have come to love. I love their loyalty and brotherhood to each other and how they all will protect each and every one of the women who love them.
If there were ½ stars, I would give this a 3.5, but since there aren’t, I always round up. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Seal Team 3!

Started off promising with a couple of sexy scenes but it got so borring it took me a month to finish. The love story is lame and sex based, apparently great sec makes you fall in love in a minute. I understand this is an erotic reading but it really gets old when you read several sex scenes every couple of pages especially containing random people. Characters are two dimensional, the ship take over subplot unneccesary but created to give some spice to the love vomit.
The dialogue is simple and stereotypical. If I read one more baby this, baby that line or that lame army talk with roger this and that I think I would puke. All in all not my genre and torment to finsh. Will not read any other!

Cruisin for a Seal is my favorite Sharon Hamilton book so far!! It has it all. It is super suspenseful, sexy, humorous, and a great love story. I also loved it because several of the other couples also get story time too. You are going to fall in love with Mark and Sophia. I can’t wait for more books in this series!!

Cruisin’ For A Seal is the fifth book in The Seal Brotherhood series by Sharon Hamilton. The Seal Brotherhood series has captivated the readers with the intense bonds of brotherhood, the strong women they love, their loyalty to those they love, their commitment to making the world a better and safer place, and the endeavors they will go through to live up to their life mantras. These men are downright sexy and will have the readers swooning. Their bravery is to be commended.

That is what the navy seals are about and Sharon Hamilton portrays these warriors with an honest portrayal that leaves the readers with a higher admiration.

In Cruisin’ For A Seal, the reader gets to go on an adventure in the high seas. The team is taking a vacation before they deploy. They are there to honor the memory of a fellow soldier & brother who has supported their careers, their lives, and was the father figure in their lives. What should have been a time of relaxing and bonding becomes an international incident when terrorist take over the cruise ship. This is an international threat that could take innocent lives. It is more personal to Seal Team 3. It is a threat against their families, the people who mean the most to them.

Mark Beale is dedicated to his brothers and to his career. He has been suffering personally from the loss of the woman he felt was his soulmate. He is at the end of his own personal rope and the only thing he is hanging onto is his dedication to his brothers. When they embark on the group vacation, he is reluctant to go. But a chance encounter with a sexy Italian woman changes his outlook. In one afternoon tryst , she reaffirms Mark’s belief in life and gives him hope for the future.

Sophia is a professional dancer aboard the ship. She is on her way to Brazil to get married. She feels trapped and is questioning her life decisions. She has an anonymous sexual encounter with a sexy American before she embarks on her final cruise. This encounter has solidified her questions about her upcoming marriage. It has changed her decision. It has changed what she wants out of life and relationships. She wants a man that can make her feel the way the sexy American did.

Mark and Sophia are reunited on the cruise ship. They are engaging in a forbidden relationship that could get Sophia fired from her job. Mark is determined to win Sophia’s heart. She is the woman he wants to spend his forever with. But all is not right on this cruise. There is a dangerous dance instructor, an explosive mix of internationals on the entertainment crew, some questionable passengers, and a premonition of danger.

Terrorists ruthlessly take over the cruise ship. Seal Team 3 will do whatever it takes to bring this band of terrorists to their knees. They will do whatever it takes to keep their loved ones alive.

Cruisin’ For A Seal is much more than a love story. It is an adventure that will keep the readers on the edge of their seat.

I highly recommend Cruisin’ For A Seal by Sharon Hamilton. It can be read as a stand alone or in series order. The Seal Brotherhood series is more than an action packed adventure. It is an erotic adventure, a romantic journey, and a look into the lives of Seal Team 3.

This story has Seal Team 3 meeting in Italy with their wife’s and or girlfriends to go a cruise to bury their fallen team mate at sea. Everyone is good with meeting before and hanging out except for Marc Beal, who is getting over his girlfriend who passed away from cancer. He goes off by himself and he comes across a little café and while there a beautiful women sits down a few tables away and they make eye contact and without saying anything start to flirt with each other. Shortly she is meet by another beautiful women who has to be her mother and though they are speaking Italian he tell that the conversation is not that all pleasant. After the mother leaves and she gets up to walk away he decides to go up and talk to her which turns out to be funny she only speaks Italian. They go to her littler apartment and spend the night together and part of the next morning. Later that night he goes back to her place but she never answers and he realizes she is not there. The next day the team board the ship for the curse and all he has is his memories of one fabulous night with a women Named Sophia if that is her right name. Later on the ship he spots Sophia and she is dancing with a guy but he does not like him there is something that makes leery about him. She really does not like him either but he is her fiancés best friend. Once Sophia sees Marc it is all over she tells him about the arranged marriage even though she is not happy about it but she feels trapped they meet and talk but while this is going on the ship is taken over by tourists. Now the team must work to take control of the ship since it is going to take some time before help arrives. This turned out to be a much more exciting book and there are little stories going on besides the two big ones that push this book along and make this into a fabulous book. I enjoyed it very much. I got this book from net galley.

Marc Beale is falling for a beautiful Italian woman but when terrorists take over the ship, he may have to sacrifice himself in order to save her in this exciting military romance.

Sophia is suffering from engagement jitters and falling for the hot and sexy American and the reader can’t help but get caught up in this thrilling romance as Marc and Sophia try to find their HEA while dealing with their emotional turmoil. The chemistry between Sophia an Marc explodes from the pages with vibrant intensity and the sex scenes are scorching but the relationship has a major hurdle…Sophia is already engaged to someone else. These strong, compelling characters hold the readers hostage throughout the story as the fast paced, smooth flowing plot excites readers with lots of suspense, action and passion and spicing the story up even more, other SEAL Team 3 brothers are getting some hot and steamy action of their own.

Expectation builds lots of thrilling tension as Marc begins to notice something is off with some of the crew and the danger escalates with SEAL Team 3 being the only ones who can stop the terrorists while Sophia’s also having a bit of a problem with one of the other crew members causing quite a bit of excitement as well. Well written scenes and details capture the imagination while the intriguing events ensure that the reader can’t put the book down until they have read every last word.

Danger and passion makes for a hot combination when reading but add in sexy SEALs and you get a combustible story that has you panting for more and Sharon Hamilton’s SEAL Brotherhood can provide all the heat you can handle and possibly even more and I have to say that in this case, I don’t mind being overheated one little bit.

Sharon Hamilton’s CRUISIN’ FOR A SEAL plumbs the depths of the heart and of the ocean in a story filled with extreme emotional charges and soulless terrorists. SEAL Team member Mark Beale is in Savona, Italy nursing the wounds left by the death of Sophie Dunn, sister of a fellow SEAL, whom he knew to be his soulmate. Mark is at the abyss of deep depression, not sure he can or wants to find a way back. He and his buddies are to leave shortly, with wives and girlfriends, to spread their Gunny Sergeant’s ashes mid-cruise to Brazil. A chance encounter with a ravishing but escapist Italian beauty brings him back to life.
Thus, Hamilton sets the stage for exotic erotica of the most cold-shower-inducing kind. Her characters engage in what has to be some of the most intense and exacting sex around, even as terrorists take over the cruise ship and threaten to ruin everyone’s vacation. The action suspense aspects to the story are frighteningly possible: an American owned ship with thousands on board, unscrupulous staff and some not vetted by appropriate authorities, hundreds of miles from help and with just a handful of lightly armed SEALS to assist, an onboard bomb to disarm and passengers who take their lessons from Flight 93. And that Italian beauty shows up, too. This is the stuff of a great adventure that will have you reading late into the night…just as I did.

Mark Beale has arrived in Italy for a Mediterranean cruise. He and his team mates have a personal, covert mission. They plan to scatter the ashes of a dear friend without all the bureaucratic red tape. While spending time with his team mates at a local café, his libido kicks in when he sees a stunning woman. When she approaches him and leads him to her apartment, he follows without hesitation.

Their sexual encounter is earth shattering but he only knows her name and has no idea how to find her again. When he finds her on his ship as a dancer, he wonders if fate has stepped in. Is his unrequited love for a team mates late sister guiding him to another love?

Hot SEALs and their sparky wives make for interesting passengers. They go nowhere unarmed and when the ship comes under attack, they are the innocent passengers only line of defence.

Steamy sex, romantic suspense and great characters. Sophie was kind of hard to like at first (no spoilers) but their relationship progresses once she has disentangled herself from a sticky situation. Brilliant subplots with possessive dance partners and arranged marriages!

The next thrilling instalment of Sharon Hamilton’s SEAL Brotherhood Series is a joy to read, they just keep getting better and better.

It finds our gorgeous hero Marc and heroine Sophia helping the wonderful SEAL team 3 thwart a hi-jacking of the cruise ship they are all on.

With wonderful exotic locations described in livid detail I thought I was there.

Action packed adventure where Marc more than holds his own and Sophia makes a unique heroine who gets into the action.

While the SEALs do their part as well. I love the interaction and the way they all look after their own.
“I’ll tell you one thing, next time Kyle suggests we all go on vacation together, I’m staying home. His idea of fun, while awesome, is going to make me an old man.”

The instant sexual attraction, beautiful sensual love scenes, some quite memorable between Marc and Sophia made this a fast paced thrilling read

I enjoyed this novel so much. Im also wondering who the lucky SEAL will be next to find his awesome heroine

When fate steps in, she really steps in. What was thought to be only one hot night for Marc turns into more. I think this was my favorite book in the series so far. I liked the suspense of it. The dual plots kept my interest. Marc and Sophia's love sparked for the first moment without any words spoken. That spark turned to a fire that blazed. I love how we got revisit a few of the team too. Another thing fate played a hand in. If any cruise needed a team of SEALs on it, this one was definitely it.

I would have loved to find out how her ex-fiance faired when he found out what went down though.

What do SEAL team 3 do for a vacation? They take a cruise with their wives and single Mark becomes infatuated with one of the dancers, Sophia on the cruise ship. Cruisin' for a SEAL has a plot to take over the cruise ship by terrorists, a bomb on board and covered with snakes. The hot SEAL team and their women too band together to fight with some of the crew for an exciting story and as Kyle, the team leader put it, "The best vacation ever." Sharon Hamilton write a great SEAL story and of course, the heroes save the day.

This was my first book by Sharon Hamilton and I must admit i didn't finish it. I just couldn't care less how it ended. There was way too much time spent on side characters which probably came from earlier books in the series. So I found myself fast forwarding because I didn't want to hear all about their thoughts and lives. Then i just gave up.

Cruisin' For a SEAL was a disappointment to me. I like the rest of the HOTS series and was certain I would like this one also.
I found it disjointed, confusing and simply not nearly as good as the first 6 in this series.

Only got halfway through. One of the worst books I've ever read. Who honestly falls in love with someone that quick especially when they're happily cheating on their fiancee. She's going to be a loyal SEAL' s wife (not). Don't know if I should read anymore in the series. Deeply disappointed.

This is book five in The Seal Brotherhood Series and it is Mark and Sophia's story. Mark was sad after Sophie died as he felt that they could have had something special but now the seal team and there families were going on a cruise to say goodbye to Gunny who was always there for them and became a surrogate father to a lot of the seal team and would always have there backs. The team were in Italy when Mark met Sophia and the spent the afternoon together and even though they both had a strong connection and chemistry they both knew that they wouldn't see each other again. When Sophia saw Mark on the cruise ship where she worked she was so shocked but when she told him that she was engaged and was going to be married soon it didn't go down well so she decided to keep her distance but would that work. When terrorist attacked the ship the seal team had to do all that they could to save all the people but the only problem was that there were only a few of them against a lot of terrorist so they were out numbered. How will everything go and will the seal team be able to save everybody or not and will help arrive in time to help them. Omg this is a brilliant story with great character's and storyline that pulled you in right from the first page and I couldn't put it down. Sharon Hamilton is an amazing author and writer and I absolutely love her books so much and recommend you read this and and other books by her.

I enjoyed the ebook of this story and again, the audiobook truly brought it to live. So much so that after taking 38 ocean, sea and river cruises, this reader was happy not to be on this one !!
Though the story centers on Navy SEAL Mark Beale, those that have read the previous stories in the series will be in for a treat.
On board are the SEALs from the previous stories with their significant others and possible love interest in future books.
Mark is still mourning the death Sophie, the sister of one of his SEAL brothers. Prior to going on board, he meets Sophia Negri in Savona, Italy. A “one afternoon stand” that starts to heal him, leaves him wanting for more. Imagine his surprise when he sees his mystery lady on board the ship.
But she’s committed to someone in Brazil, working on the ship and the possibility of having a chance with her is non-existent.
But what happens when danger surrounds them on board? Can Mark and the SEALs keep everyone safe? Will he get a chance with Sophia?
Once again, JD Hart excels in his narrative and helps us to enjoy another entertaining story in this series.

The Seal team and some of their wife’s and girlfriends were on a cruise to scatter Gunny’s ashes in the sea. Mark was one of the men. If you read any of the previous books, Mark had fallen in love with Nick’s sister Sophia. Unfortunately some awful people had contaminated her water which made her very sick and she didn’t make it. Mark had not felt anything for another woman until he sees a beautiful woman in Italy the day before they board the boat to leave. The two had a steamy night. The crazy thing was her name was Sophia. She turned around and left him.

Later after they were out to sea, Mark sees Sophia on the ship as she was one of the dancers. I can’t imagine how Mark felt when he found out she was going to Brazil to wed another man. But the attraction between the two was so strong, Sophia began rethinking what she would do. This story was so interesting when the Team started feeling like something terrible was going to happen. It was so exciting and I was on the edge of my seat. I strongly encourage you to read the book.

Mark is a Navy SEAL in Italy getting ready to go on a cruise with his team buddies. He meets a beautiful woman and has a one night stand with her. He tries to find her the next day but she’s nowhere to be found. They board the cruise ship and when they watch some dancers, she’s one of them. Sophia works on the cruise line as an entertainer but is to be married when they reach Brazil. She can’t believe her American lover is on board. After she realizes she doesn’t want to get married, they start meeting in a rescue boat. When it’s discovered that a plan is in place to hold the ship hostage, the guys are in more trouble than they could imagine.
Smoking hot sex. SEALs, a dancer, and action. There was some grammar errors and saying “nekkid” and her “ cave “ was just wrong. Towards the end it went by real fast. But the story was good.

I’ve read several Seal books written by Sharon Hamilton, and I’ve loved every one. She always honors the Seal dedication to their service, their team, and their wives. She always includes a mission, planned or of necessity, along with some lust and romance. Always a satisfying read.
Mark and Sophia meet while in Italy, and there is spontaneous attraction between them, they spent one night together, and then go their separate ways. Mark joins his fellow Seals on a group vacation cruise.
While on the cruise, he realizes that Sophia is a dancer for the entertainment on the cruise. Situations continue to keep them close, and a relationship develops. An attempt of terrorist to control the ship, causes problems all around, but the Seal team members save the ship and the vacationers on board. Mark and Sophia finally obtain their beautiful HEA.

4+ Stars ⭐⭐⭐🌟 CRUISIN’ FOR A SEAL starts with Mark Beale in Italy still grieving Sophie when he unexpectedly meets Sophia. It’s meant to be an anonymous one-time hook-up before he heads out on a vacation cruise to Brazil with his SEAL teammates and their significant others. But from first glance, you can tell their connection is going to be more. Of course, not without there being complications both on board the ship and waiting in Brazil, not to mention thwarting a terrorist plot (duh, did they not know there are SEALs on board!?!) to overtake the cruise ship. With all the drama, excitement, intrigue, and steamy passion, you are sure to become so thoroughly involved in this engaging tale you’re going to find it hard to put down. It’s a fast-paced, entertaining read, and always such a delight to be mixed up again with the SEAL Team 3 characters.

Mark Beale and a number of Seal Team 3 are in Italy boarding a small cruise ship for a transatlantic cruise. Mark meets a lovely Italian girl in the days before the cruise. He is shocked to find that she is a dancer onboard. Mark, Kyle and several members of the team vacationing together with their wives happen upon a group planning to take over the ship. They have to intervene. I’m a huge cruising fan, so anytime an adventure takes place on a cruise ship, I’m hooked. Lots of below deck action and intrigue kept me turning pages. Plus, I listened to the audiobook narrated by JD Hart. That man has a voice as smooth as a good single malt. He brings life to all the characters. Excellent!

This was a good book. I can imagine some of the younger people in Europe doing something like this with having the foreigner think they can't speak or understand English. I thought that part was funny but couldn't understand what and why she was doing that. Then to end up on the same boat as him anyway made me laugh.

It was great the author brought back the other SEAL's and their partners/wives to have that link to it. I liked how the men decided to come to the rescue, which was very different, and the women had a game plan going all on their own. The ending wasn't like I thought it would be and it was definitely unique.

After losing Sophie, Marc can't seem to find anyone that would satisfy him. So while he and the boys are on a friendly holiday in Italy preparing for a cruise, Marc runs into Sophia. Sophia doesn't speak English so Marc thinks but they have an amazing night of passion. With a slip of fate, they run into one another on the cruise, she's working and is very fluent in English. Not only that, she's engaged to another man and on her way to meet him for their wedding. But Sophia and Marc fall for one another but will Marc's chance at love bee ripped away from him again with a terrorist threat planning to take command of the cruise?
