Servant God: The Cosmic Conflict Over God's Trustworthiness

Rate this book
It's time to change our ideas about God.
Two thousand years ago, Jesus showed us that God's infinite power is matched by his humility; that the success of his Kingdom is defined not by conquering our enemies through force or fear, in the courtroom or on the battlefield, but by our love for them; that the heart of the omnipotent God always serves.

Servant God is written by a wide variety of authors, both theologians and lay people. This blend of writers reflects the composition of God's Kingdom—people from different backgrounds and walks of life joining in a common message, bound together by their love for a Person—God revealed in Jesus.

MUST READ!

Insightful and informative. That the God and Creator of the Universe would humble Himself to become a servant is mind boggling. And then, HE LOVES ME!!?

Seeking to ground biblical authority first and foremost in the person and teachings of Jesus Christ, this book delivers information on many levels: theoretical, historical, psychological, and practical. It is a comprehensive and conversational work that will enable readers to further understand God — what he did through Jesus and what he wants us to do now.

Opened My Eyes

Transforming is the best way to describe this work. As I assimilated the ideas expressed by the various writers who contributed to this amazing body of work I have come to know and understand my heavenly father as a loving, interested, and worthy friend. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a better understanding of God.
