Some of the arguments are not backed up. Saying that rhythmic dances and rock music lead to a state of trance that cause people observing UFO ("demons", as the author perceives them), just because some rock musicians stated they've seen UFO, is ludicrous. And the fact that there are no evidences for the world to evolve on its own doesn't change the fact that there are no undoubtable evidences of God's existence. Also, following author's arguments that people turned to God, only because they couldn't find the meaning of life in the world's pleasures, doesn't really mean anything, because other religions and Gods are enough satisfying for a lot of non-christian people and give them enough meaning of life. The thing is that the existence of a meaning of life is debatable on its own and that very often people don't find it nice to live on this planet either because they've had too much or because they've had to less of human pleasure. People just tend to disregard the implementation of basic human psychology into making their life easier and let themselves too often be guided by their emotions and instincts.
Great book. Tackles all aspects of life and provides a guide on how to survive in this world and be happy. It has a lot of real captivating stories that bring the truths taught to life. Helped me focus more on altruism and selflessness and living a simplistic lifestyle. The most important lesson I learnt from this book is that happiness doesn't come from materialism and competitiveness but from a humble altruistic lifestyle. Highly recommend.
