This exciting thrilling novel is breathtaking, it will keep you on the edge and wanting more.
Born in the great state of Illinois, I have traveled many states where I am glad to call home.
I enjoy writing, reading and having new found friends that are worth my while; no matter if they are online or in my presence.
I developed a fever for creating a good book to share with others and I must say that I can get really worked up when it comes to writing.
Warning*** Sex scenes are not excluded because you are a good girl and you don't read such work. I find pleasure in developing my characters to be as real as they can get.
The damn thing went down in this book right here! This is the debut novel of author Patrena Miller and she made me a fan. Right from the start the author brought it in with the action. The book flowed well and I enjoyed the scenes, especially with the little brother Chester. He should've had more parts in the story; he was a sweetie pie. The whole book read like a movie to me and I could visualize the entire story as I read it. This book is gripping with emotions that had me hopping all over the place. I was excited about Bethany's return and how she came out on top; but I was a little lonely at a certain part in the book about Mason. There should be a sequel to this book... hint hint.
This book was interesting, it was a heartfelt adventure full of dark excitement. It was a lot of unexpected twist and turns that will leave the readers wanting more.
The Road was different from many books I have read in tone and writing style, but I commend the author in her honest and engaging approach to characters and plot. The voice that she gives her protagonist enables the reader to identify with her. We see and feel her world and are able to clearly understand her motivations. There are twists and turns that keep the reader interested.
I am not able to give a professional review of this book at this time. The book is not an easy read. There are grammatical errors that will prevent a reader from enjoying the reading experience the author is trying to portray. There are times in the story when a transition occurs and the reader is left to figure this out on their own. The dialogue between characters is not clear. There are conversations occurring and the reader will not know whose voice is being used. I believe the book would benefit greatly from being reviewed by an editor at this time.
