Appreciate this book for raising awareness around the physical, mental, and emotional hardships living with a transplant. While it covers chronic illness as a lifelong commitment, medically unpredictable, and lonely, the other addresses it at a comfortable level. I love how she gently offers belonging, support, and resources.

Very relatable and moving! It helped a little with my anxiety in regard to my own upcoming (hopefully) kidney transplant. 🫘
