How to build your own rocket

Rate this book
Homemade rockets are educational projects that will teach everyone involved a little bit about science and the behaviour of gases and liquids under pressure. Only a few common supplies are needed to make a small rocket that may travel as far as 10 to 20 feet and sometimes much greater heights. Considering that this is approximately 150 times the height of the rocket or more, this is quite a spectacular achievement. Several different types of “rocket” are described in this booklet and constructing and experimenting with these will give many hours of fun and entertainment for the whole family. There are nine rockets described in this book ranging from basic through to a full solid fuel chemical rocket as gas powered rocketPressurised coke bottle water rocketGas Powered coke bottle rocketGas powered rocker carTea bag rocketSimple balloon rocketRocket with parachuteMatch head rocketSugar & Potassium Nitrate rocketPages 26
