This volume of Coming Together stories focuses on military-themed erotica. It may seen like a short effort than other anthologies because there are only eight contributors, but some of the stories are lengthy. In The Trenches features Civil War-set erotic shorts, contemporary stories on and off the battlefield, and one mild BDSM story. All are engaging in their own way. If you're a regular CT reader you won't be disppointed.

Short, sexy stories with a military theme. I knew some of the authors from previous reading, there are some authors I now want to read more from, and there were a few stories that were really beautiful.
