Ending with a whimper. I gave up on this 2/3rds of the way through. Too many unexplained secret plans and double agents who are secretly triple agents or whatever. Too many mysterious wizards manipulating things from behind the scenes. I just wanted to get to the end of it, but I couldn’t.
