E.M. Smith

E. M. Smith came by his redneck roots honestly, his barbwire tattoo dishonestly, and his sobriety slowly. Recovery isn't a sprint, according to his friends, it's a marathon. That's probably why he turned into such a fitness geek when he quit drinking.

You can call him Mason if you want to. He just uses his initials to seem professional.

Brilliant!

I just finished reading the whole series, books 1 through 5, all in one sitting. This series was fantastic, I couldn't put it down. Great action, a perfectly flawed main character, the twists in the plot were expertly achieved. And the ending is just.... just the only thing it could have been. This whole series is gritty, real, amazing. I'm an author myself--that's a professional opinion. Do yourself a favor and read this series. I'm going to likely read everything else that E.M. Smith has out.

Now that was a great series. I didn't know it was possible to write like this, flow, drama, but still action non-stop. As I reflect, I imagine the two best aspects here are non-stop action, and intricate yet very realistic plot line. The last two pages are a bizarre ending, but everything had realistic resolve so you should be satisfied. Smith this was such a pleasure, you're awesome!
