The first thing that attracted me to this novella was its title which really piqued my interest.

The heroine, Kay, is fun and quirky, and though she confesses not to have a dramatic flair, her story turns out to be pretty dramatic nonetheless. She loves to party hard, has a string of disastrous ex-boyfriends to boast of , has a tendency to make mistakes “that makes you go into face palm mode and want to die every time you are reminded of them” , slips up and practically falls on her bottom on a regular basis in her quest for love, but doesn’t truly give up.

I liked the fact that she doesn’t go on moping about her pitiable love life and doesn’t back off from taking a chance on love again, even if a bit of caution wouldn't have hurt. However, all the drunk craziness that she could pull off in one evening does speak of an extraordinary talent for screw-ups.

The main, as well as the supporting characters were well-written , each having their own idiosyncratic personalities. A cute and special addition was the Thought Bubble:
“Just so you know, the Thought Bubble is quite notorious for
making bad situations worse.”

My only pet peeve is that the falling in love part seemed too swift to feel any genuine romance between the two characters.

The story, filled with witty dialogues and melodramatic reactions to one over-blown hilarious episode after another, made for a quick, comical, fun-filled read. The occasional use of colloquial words like 'arrey' and 'yaar' were the only things that even reminded me that this was the work of an Indian author, and a debut book on top of that, because the writing style is quite analogous to the work of a seasoned chick-lit writer.

This novella deserves all of its 4 stars for all those LOL-moments that nearly brought tears to my eyes and made me grasp for breath.

My thanks to the author for providing me with a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

A light read, a bright and breezy romantic comedy by an Indian author who could well be in the running to be the next Marian Keyes (you know who Marian Keyes is, surely? The queen of rom com fiction and chick lit? Who’s Irish just like me?).

The plot is simple enough. Writer Kairavi (Kay to her friends) has foresworn men after a string of failed relationships. An ill-fated night on the town leaves her hospitalized, however, with a tattoo declaring ‘Done With Men’ and considerable injury to her ego. A handsome Goan doctor with a poetical name enters her life and intrigues her, leading her a merry dance indeed. Suddenly, the hardened journo is wondering whether or not being ‘Done With Men’ forever is a little premature.

I loved the humour and the romance, the ‘will she or won’t she’ intrigue and the Goan sunshine. The writer has thoughtfully provided a list of Hindi terms at the back for those unfamiliar with the language, so this is a book which can be enjoyed by anyone who reads in English, even if they’re not Indian.

Shuchi Kalra is a witty and observant author who is already a well established blogger and editor. She has a perfect voice for women’s fiction with her dry humour and chatty writing style. Full marks to this one!

I received a review copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Indireads has indeed metamorphosed into a garden of diverse hues, shades and fragrances, in full bloom. Every flower, or book, in this garden is unique in its own way, and adds its own singular beauty to the grand milieu that Indireads is. I say this not just as an author with the brand myself, but also as an ardent romance fan and lover or all things desi. Every single book in Indireads gives you a new and fresh perspective on romance. There's romance between an aged couple, romance blossoming after a tortured life, romance with twin brothers... you name it, and you find it on Indireads. And the latest and a sparkling addition to this bouquet of romance is Done With Men by Shuchi Singh Kalra.

The story revolves around Kay and her adventures in the romance-land. It is the coming of age story of this modern, impulsive, bold and gorgeous girl, who goes through a lot of experimenting with love and men before finally finding the man of her life. She is supported throughout by Baani, her BFF, and a person who believes in a steady relationship, quite contrary to Kay's life. Just when Kay thinks she's had it with men, she falls headlong into another affair. Whether this will be 'the' affair of her life, or just another trial and error experiment is what the reader will discover as he turns the pages.

Done With Men has all the elements of a perfect Rom-Com. Most of the pages have you in splits, especially when Kay does us the honor of thinking out loud. The romance is breezy, with no unwanted drama or weepy-whiny scenes. The story captures the pulse of the younger generation, those in their twenties, perfectly. Fresh out of college and into a new job, that is the period when life seems most beautiful. And that beauty and freshness of the characters is well captured by Shuchi in Done With Men.

The writing is crisp and tight, and exudes an attitude that befits the lead lady and the setting where this story unfolds. I am not surprised though, having followed Shuchi's writing for some time now. However, considering this is her debut novella, the finesse with which she has pulled it off is outstanding. There is not one dull moment in the story, and you are sure to be smiling appreciatively when you turn the last page.

In all, a brilliant debut, and a must read for all who love romance, and all who love comedy, and more importantly, all who love them both together. Great work Shuchi!

First things first – I don’t read romances or chick-lit and I picked up this book purely out of curiosity (blame the title!). The book got me interested from the very first page and I finished reading it in a single sitting during my office commute. Some of the scenes had me laughing out loud, which is quite embarrassing when you are using public transport in London, but I am not complaining. The language too is of a much better quality that what we generally find in popular books written by young Indian authors nowadays. I say do read this book – it will definitely bring a smile to your face.

First thing that struck me about this book was the title – ‘Done with Men’. It is brilliant and perfect. Kairavi (kay) is a travel journalist who is down in the dumps, thanks to her unfortunate choice of boyfriends. After dumping her latest, she heads out to Goa on an assignment, meets her ex there and tries to experiment with her sexuality that ends in a accident.

At the hospital, she meets the hot doctor Vivian, to whom she is instantly attracted. With her best friend Baani and her boyfriend Kapil, giving her instant advice, caution and the pesky thought bubble, Kay spirals into yet another adventure of love.

I loved the easy lucid style of Suchi’s language. It reminded me of one of my favourite authors, Sophie Kinsella. Done with Men has the same tempo, easy descriptions and fantastic humour that characterizes Shopoholic series and other books written by Sophie.

A special mention must be made about the inconvenient truths that the ‘thought bubble’ comes up with. Very very funny and original.

Plus Points – Humorous breezy style of writing. Very funny moments, plots and light romance

Minus Points – Felt that there was scope for a bigger novel here. Kay seems to fall in love (lust) with Vivian quite rapidly though she is supposedly recovering from her break up. There is definitely scope here for more funny escapades, twists and turns and disasters. Would love it, if Suchi can consider writing a series of these novels. It would be most welcome.

Verdict – Perfect weekend read. You could also pick it up after you had a blazing row with your husband. Might bring the man to heel faster than you thought. A must read.

Done with Men by Shuchi Singh Kalra was an absolute delight to read.
The protagonist of this story Kairavi Krishna(Kay) is a modern free thinking woman and is fed up of all the guys that she's been with including Mama's boys to over-possessive losers. She's started losing faith in the idea of love and just wants a break from her pathetic love life. When opportunity presents itself as a job assignment in Goa, she takes it and accompanied by her best friend Baani heads to Goa.A disastrous night in Goa leads her straight to the young and handsome doctor Dr.Vivian D'Mello and so she is faced with the confusion of whether or not to give love a chance again.
It's a short book but filled with amazing characters and refreshing sense of humour. My favourite character would be Kay,she is impulsive, quirky and was super funny.Plus this book is set in Goa,which was a plus point for me(Who doesn't love Goa :D ).
Very entertaining and a super quick read. Didn't disappoint at all!

Dear Author, You rocked !!!

This was my first book by the author Suchi Singh Kalra and I loved it thoroughly. This was an easy breezy read of a wonderful and fun filled girl Kairavi and her love life.

Author has done a wonderful job with the alphabets. Each character is beautifully developed especially Kairavi. Title of this book is enough to arouse the interest in a reader. Kairavi is a heart broken girl who visits Goa for his office work and eventually fall in love with Vivian, a doctor and then resumes the roller coaster ride of events.

A must read for those who love to read chick-lits. This book will freshen up mind of a reader. I surely come out with a big smile plastered on my face.

Done with men is a short and sweet novella... bigger than a story but shorter than a novel.

Kay is a successful writer, but her love life was going nowhere, with multiple breakupa and heart breaks, she has decided that she won't get involved with men anymore. She gets an assignment to go to Goa, which she thinks will help clear up her mind and refill her energy, but fate had other plans.

She meets an handsome doc in Goa and she gets signal that it also will end up like another heart break. Will it? Won't it? do read the book to find out.

Done with men – is any woman actually ‘done’ with men? How can women be totally ‘done’ with love, romance, and the ‘oh-so-essential-driving-force-of-the-whole-world’ concept of being in love? This book tells you exactly about that. A travel editor for a magazine gets a chance to do a special travelogue on Goa, the land of parties, booze and casual flings. Fresh from a series of breakups that do nothing to help her psyched mental state, Kairavi Krishna, a tamilian (yes, you read it right!) lands in the magic land of Goa. The story from there is fairly simple. She meets her ex in a resort cooing with someone else, decides to take revenge on him with a drunken one night stand, and finds herself in the hospital the next morning. There she meets a Greek Adonis doctor, who seems cold, aloof and distant. The major part of the story lies in the lead falling for her doctor and whether or not he reciprocates.

The whole book can be told as a one liner. But the talent of the writer lies in prolonging the story to an interesting, respectable 150 pages. Yes, it is a short read. Yes, you know somehow that it is all going to end well. Yes, the stories, even the characters are predictable, repetitive and of course typecast. But hey! Too much starch never made a cloth wearable. This is the comfortable sweaters and track pants compared to your stiff office suits. You know that somehow, in this book all the characters ever mentioned will get a ‘screen space’ in the story. From the person of the ONS to the nurse who cures Ms. Krishna.

The plot is simple, straightforward, and predictable. But the author has written it in such a relatable first person narrative that you don’t want to put the book down. Right from the clumsy heroine who suspects her perfect man always to the rock solid BFF who stands by her no matter what, the story has nothing new to offer. It is a pleasant read, though. The characters are nowhere near spectacular and are plain and clear. This is a perfect book to curl up with on a sunny day when you’re too tired to go out. And if you have enough patience for a love story, this is a onetime read, to be read at a go.

WHAT I LIKED: The story, the way it has been written, and the thoroughly decent plotline

WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER: The stereotypical elements of the genre.

VERDICT: Short, mood-lifting read. Go for it when you want to read something neither too heavy nor too light. And definitely not when you are ‘done with men’.

First of all I would like to thank Naheed Hassan from Indireads for sending out the ebook.
‘Done with Men’ is a light, short, delightful read. Although I am not into Chick lit romance, but I don’t think I was ever disappointed in picking up this book.
It is a story of travel journalist Kairavi Krishna who is dealing with a recent breakup in the background of a long past of failed relationships. In hope of diverting her attention off the breakup, her friend and flat-mate, Baani, arranges an official trip to Goa.
Unfortunately, Ricky, her ex-boyfriend, finds his way to the same resort with his brand new super-hot girlfriend, which brings her temper to whole new level. After a few vodka shots she heaves herself into a crazy series of events comprising of temporary hooking with a lesbian, getting a Done with men tattoo, parading around in a fluffy animal bikini, only to end up throwing herself down the balcony.
She wakes up on a hospital bed to discover she has taken a fracture and is going to spend her new year alone in ward. And, that’s where something unexpected happens. She meets an orthopedist Dr. Vivian. At first she takes him for a dull, grumpy, heartless person, but soon her opinion changes completely.
For a first time author Shuchi Singh Kalra has done a marvelous job. The writing style is wonderful, delightful, rich on humor, and certainly at par with most established authors from the genre. Language is good, unlike many first time Indian Authors who uses unprofessional and mediocre language. I really liked the concept of thought bubble that almost stands out as a separate character. The story has a good pace, and the excellent and frequent use of humor makes sure that the reader wouldn’t put the book down until it’s finished. I don’t remember if there was a moment in the entire story which I couldn’t enjoy.
Overall, it is a great start from Shuchi Singh Kalra and I would recommend the book to all readers of Romance and Chick Lit. Well-deserved four stars!!!

Done With Men is a light romantic comedy set in Goa. Kairavi ( or Kay) is a quirky, bubbly travel journalist who has had her fair share of loser boyfriends and has decided to steer clear of men, both literally and figuratively, and has a tattoo that says Done With Men etched on her skin in a desperate attempt. But when she crosses path with the super sexy Orthopedic in a hospital she is admitted to, she starts to look forward to meeting this suave and sexy doctor and falls head over heels in love with him. Is she taking a hasty decision yet again or will Vivian D’ Mello turn out to be The One is for you to read and find out.

The author has portrayed real and believable characters, not too perfect ones as is the case in many romance novels. The language is light, breezy and funny, filled with funny one-liners that left me in splits. The Thought Bubble is someone we can all identify with at some point or another.

I finished the novella in a sitting and then visited it again simply because I had so much fun reading it. I would definitely recommend this to RomCom lovers around the world as the author has thoughtfully added a reference to all the Hindi words used at the back. It is a light and fun read, capable of lifting up your spirits on a dull and boring weekday.

A definite quick fix for heart-aches!

“Done With Men” the debut novella by Shuchi Singh Kalra is a quick, fun filled read, perfect for spending a cozy afternoon with! A hilarious take on the fast paced life of a 20 something girl, with an upscale Mumbai lifestyle, does give you a slice of complicated life the youngsters lead in today’s world!

However, instead of regretting the age they are in, the hectic work schedules, round the clock deadlines, complicated relationship status and the constant urge to break the monotony is what will make the life of the young protagonist endearing and relatable. The author has done a wonderful job of keeping the storyline fast paced, eventful and full with fun filled ‘anecdotes’ to keep the reader entertained.

Considering the language of most of the bestselling ‘chick-lit’ books, the author’s debut novella is completely in sync with the genre. The writing is quite professional, entertaining and above all well-streamlined! She has done a wonderful job with this refreshing and enjoyable book on heart-ache!

As the blurb says, Done with Men is a tale of Kairavi Krishna’s misadventures in love. A travel writer by profession, she finds herself in Goa on an assignment to cover the Sunburn Festival during New Year’s. But what actually transpires is a drunken escapade that lands her in the hospital. With a recent break up, a catastrophic beginning to New Year and a long line of meaningless affairs, she finds herself as disaster’s favorite child. But then walks in the tall and handsome orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Vivian, she finds herself falling in love once again. Only this time he seems different than the rest, a perfect gentleman. Is he? Does Kairavi finally find the elusive idea of love that she had been forever chasing in the sun kissed beaches of Goa or rather in the freshly painted hospital where she ended up swollen and hurt? Well now you would have to read this to find out wouldn't you?

I loved reading ‘Done with Men’ by Shuchi Singh Kalra. Kay is a quirky journalist who falls easily in love and much more easily falls out of love. One of her drunken escapades lands her in hospital and she meets a hot surgeon. There is a life between her ears, which has a knack of making bad things worse and this thought bubble & Kay together make worse things hilarious. A bunch of interesting characters along with her BFF Baani make it an interesting read.

Shuchi has a way with her words. ‘Done with Men’ emphasises the fact that right dose of humour can do wonders to a romance novella. I really liked the way she breathed life into a 'Thought Bubble' and turned it into a full blown character. It is difficult achieve this feat unless you are a keen observer of not only people around but also your thoughts more closely. Characters are all credible and there’s never a dull moment.

‘Done with Men’ is going to be launched this 14th and already it is creating right kind of pre-release buzz. This one’s going to be a perfect novella to lay your hands on this Valentine’s Day.

To start with, The title 'Done with Men' is itself so unique and it creates a curiosity when it comes to judging it from its cover.
Inside its a whole different ball game.
'Done with Men' is a fun read where Kairavi (Kay) plans to take an assignment in Goa and plans to relax at the same time. She has had a series of bad relationships and now wants to enjoy sometime alone.
Alas, her loneliness takes a turn and she ends up in a hospital where she meets a good looking doctor to treat her. She is attracted to him but fights inside with her own emotions and does not want it to end as badly as others. So she tells her best friend about it (Baani) who is in a steady relationship for quite sometime.
Story continues about her feelings and her friends and how they tackle each situation and emotion that comes their way.
Its a light hearted and fun read. This one is definitely a book which cannot be put down once you start reading it.

Indian Chick-lit romance has sure come a long way!
Shuchi does full justice to the genre and comes out flying high.
Done With Men is spicy yet easy to read and kept me glued till the end. In-fact it left me wanting more stories about Kay and her friends. May be another novel for Kay's friend.
I do not need to mention any thing more than the fact that I too wanted to be tended by the good doctor!
All the characters were so well fleshed out that I could swap them for a couple of friends that I have.
Full justice to the pulsating as well as peaceful Goa. The descriptions and setting just perfect.
Thanks for a great Novella ShuchiDone With Men!

Seriously I would have never picked up this book if it wasn't the fancy mysterious title. The story revolving around the female protagonist, Kay, has shown the real plight of a "desi" Indian modern girl trying to make her own way. Once you read the book, I am sure you will find resemblance of all characters in your real life friends group.
Its a book full of spices, gossips, and most importantly THE ingredients to make people engrossed to it.
I never felt that this is the first book of the author. I should compliment Shuchi for her simple, crisp writing style and for so focussed about what people of our age want to read. She has done her homework well.
Meanwhile, in future I am definitely seeing this novel as a super box office hit Bollywood movie.

All the best Shuchi. Keep writing and give us more figments of imagination in the future.

Cheers

I was in a bad mood when I started reading Shuchi Singh Kalra's Done With MenAnd then I read the first line and Kay's dilemma soon overtook my own. I grinned, I smiled, I outright laughed as I followed this madcap "Dravidian" Kairavi as she calls herself, at some point, in her journey to true love. Dr Vivian, the dishy hero with a heart of gold is sweet and unexpectedly nice. And some of the scenes are downright sizzling. It's a love story so it's a bit predictable, but it's a love story so it's a fun romp on a Monday Night. Recommended! Recommended! SO Recommended!
PS: The cover is so awesome! Makes me want to go on vacation.

A delightful book, with a wonderful, true-to-life heroine. Lively, bubbly journalist Kairavi Krishna is a 21st-century woman, with a job, several lousy relationships with the opposite sex and a great best friend. When she's on assignment in Goa and sees her ex-boyfriend (whom she dumped) having a great time on the dance floor, she consoles herself with several vodka shots... and finds herself lying in a hospital bed, with a dislocated shoulder, a fractured clavicle and a lot of pain. Dr. Vivian D'Mello is a very different kettle of fish from Kairavi's usual boyfriends... and she is drawn to him, despite rumors of his engagement, the return of an old flame and much more. A delightful read.

The first few pages got me all curious about Kairavi. Written in first person and clearly from Kay's point of view, her voice and 'Thought Bubble' is what keeps everything interesting and bubbly. Her mother's wisdom and Baani's advice about men, lends more realism to the novella. Add to the mix, Vivian who is so drool-worthy.
My only complaint is that the most complete description of Kairavi comes mid-way in the book, which means you just figure her along the read. Shuchi names all the hotspots of Goa and is spot on with the descriptions. Good read on the way to work or travel.

shuchi singh kalra has pulled out a refreshing, well connected love comedy with an ease. The novella had bound me to its ups and downs and I enjoyed the roller coaster ride through out.
kairavi the central charachter is a young dynamic girl which relates itself to the young fast moving genre. The thought bubble played the part of best critic at moments and best friend at another beside Baani. I felt Vivian was way too mature and in real life its really difficult for guys like me to behave like vivian.
Overall a must read.

I received this book as a part of the Indireads Reviewer Program and this is my honest review.

'Done with Men'was an awesome read! Shuchi Singh Kalra writing is hilarious, witty and oh-so relatable. I had almost as much fun reading this as I did reading the Shopaholic series. This is a light easy read (only a 130 pgs!) and I would recommend it to women of all ages and ethnicity. While the story is based in India, the characters are modern and their experiences are universal.

Definitely pick this up from indireads.com and catch up on your New Year reading goals!

Well started reading this book as a break from the incessant pressure of my work life. And was pleasantly surprised. I am a chick lit connoisseur and an author so I do know what the genre benchmarks are. And Ms. Kalra hits the ball right out of the park. In love with the quirky, ebullient, whimsical Kay.

20 pages to go and I am betting I won't be disappointed.

Kairavi or Kay is a journalist and being a fun loving girl, she plans on enjoying her life. But she has had rotten luck with men so far. Tired from trying to get the companionship of a suitable man who, it seems are all equally bad, she decides to take a break and go to Goa with her flatmate, Bani.

But her problems are not over and after a disastrous night, she finds herself in a hospital with little to no memory of how she got there. As if this is not enough, the doctor treating her is charming, handsome and it looks like she has finally found her perfect match but the timing is all wrong!

What will Kay do now?
Is the handsome doctor the answer to all her prayers? Or Is he just another one of those losers she seems to be attracted to?

Shuchi weaves a splendid tale of fun, mischief, laughter and heartfelt enjoyment in her book, Done With Men. The cover is attractive but not very helpful to ascertain the type of story it holds. The title is promising and it was the title that first attracted me to this book. The blurb is also very captivating and piques our interest.

The plot is very well conceived and executed and I could not find any loopholes in the story. The writing style of Shuchi is very admirable and she is able to capture and hold the interest of the reader till the very end. I laughed, cried, smiled, relived the time when I had first fallen in love and thoroughly enjoyed the book. Her style of writing, her creativity in bringing her story to life on paper and her efforts to hook the reader have worked out beautifully in the book. :)

The characterization is noteworthy and Shuchi is able to make her characters seem real and connected to the readers. Kay symbolizes the self independent, employed and driven woman of India who believes in working hard and enjoying each moment of her life. Shuchi brings out the real and sometimes the dissatisfying side of the very happy looking lives of such women who often feel alone, being away from their family and so fall for the wrong kind of companionship be it friends or boyfriends. I also totally enjoyed Dr. Vivian's character and Kay's flatmate, Baani.

A funny, entertaining and super enjoyable story that will leave you fully satisfied and energized, I give Done With Men a 4.5 out of 5 and strongly recommend that you go buy, read and enjoy the book. I look forward to reading more from the author in the future.

I received the book from the author and the tour organizers and I am very thankful to them. The above review is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.

I wanted to revamp my blogging with an easy breezy and light read hence entered Kairavi Krishna or Kay who has messed up her life with a dedicated consistency..All thanks to her love life, yet her job as a travel journo and her super caring and lovable BFF Baani sort of keep things going and of course there is a thought bubble that pops up at all times giving Kay a different perspective 24X7..Oh yea how can we miss Kay's way with sheer stupidity that sort of lands her into troubles and that's the way the story unfolds., Kay's great fall from the balco after an alleged lesbian encounter , disastrous tattoo which reads "DONE WITH MEN"..Predictably Kay is not at all done with men as she meets the attractive, handsome ortho Dr Vivian D'Mello in her funny lingerie with broken bones, bruised face and unconscious On the contrary the doctor is too good to be ignored and carries a aura around him but did I miss telling you that Kay is still coming in terms with her life and the spoiled New year bash at the sun burn festival Goa that she and Baani had intelligently tied up , work and pleasure..

Things are really slipping away as she faces her as her ex (philanderer) is all cuddled up with a new girl and now she can't stop herself falling for the charismatic Dr Vivian, but wait is she wrong when she sees the same vibes reverberating from him at every encounter? But the who is the attractive girl who seem to share a great bond with Dr Vivian..Guess what ??Baani seems to be breaking up with her love while she was all set to marry her long time boyfriend and to top it up her boss seem to be love struck with a girl with whom she had a close miss of a lesbian encounter..How can Kay handle it all at one shot when things are falling apart? Will her thought bubble come to her rescue? well read on.

You should definitely read if you are looking for an easy, breezy and fun read with no deep thoughts..Kalra's writing is smooth and easy. The slang is handled well..She has captured the true spirit a girl in 20s..We see the protagonist and her BFF at polar ends, Kay is all messed up while Baani is clear with every step she takes, yet the bond and the friendship they share is amazing..The chemistry between Kay and Dr.Vivian though not new, the story on the whole makes it for a good read.. Kay's all new experience of love and her self discovery of love and romance will flint a smile both at her stupidity and the warmth she is yet to acknowledge..

GIVEAWAY GOING ON RIGHT NOW- http://thereaddicts.blogspot.in/2014/...

Done With Men by Shuchi Singh Kalra was a really cute read. The title may sound as if the protagonist is done with men and she is or so she thinks. Fate just has other plans for her. I didn't expect much going in the book and that worked in my favor. I ended up really enjoying Done With Men.

Kairavi or Kay as her friends like to call her is a travel journalist. She has had a series of disasters where men are concerned and it always seems like she falls very easily in love only to be hurt when the relationship comes to an end. Therefore when her best friend Baani suggests they go to Goa to cover an event Kay takes off to get away.

What Kay does not expect is to bump into her ex Ricky or the events which happen thereafter. I really liked Kay. She was adorable in her own way. You could see how she was really hurt in the past and how she wanted to protect herself from heartbreak. When Kay stumbles upon the hot and sexy Dr. Vivian try as she may she can't help but be attracted to him.

I loved how Vivian and Kay's story went. It started off as a love hate relationship and progressed into a sweet one. You never know what life has in store for you and their story just proves it. It was hilarious watching Kay fall for the ridiculously handsome doctor.

I also loved Kay's best friend Baani. She was her support system and always wanted what was best for Kay. Shuchi's writing is really nice and engaging. The novella moves at a nice pace and I kept flipping the pages till I got to the end of it. Done With Men made for a sweet read.
