These days, the author is independently publishing her novels in paperback format under her banner Flaming Sun, printed and distributed by Notion Press. Even as a child, Sundari absolutely loved the ‘lived happily ever after’ syndrome and she grew up on a steady diet of fairy tales, Phantom comics and Mandrake comics. It was always about good triumphing over evil and a happy ending after the protagonists surmounted all unexpected obstacles. Once she entered her teens, Sundari switched her loyalties from fairy tales to Mills & Boon. While she loved reading both of these, she kept visualising what would have happened if there were similar situations happening in India; to local heroes and heroines. And of course, the joy of vanquishing the ubiquitous evil villains! Her imagination soared and she happily ensconced herself in a rosy romantic cocoon for many years. Then came the writing—a true bolt from the blue! And Sundari Venkatraman has never looked back. Use hashtag #60at60 You can connect with the author here: https://linktr.ee/sundarivenkatraman
Double Jeopardy by Sundari Venkatraman is another gripping yet passionate love-story revolving around three individuals, which we happen to call a love-triangle. This is a sweet, simple and not so fussy romantic novella, which will yet once again leave you thoroughly entertained till the very end.
Thanks to the author, Sundari Venkatraman, for giving me this opportunity to read and review her book.
Sanya, once a spoilt little, who always had a crush on her childhood friend, Arth, who is the twin brother of the bad guy, Ansh, is now all grown-up and is a gorgeously beautiful woman, who came down from London to Mumbai, hoping to re-kindle her friendship to something more romantic with Arth. But, Sanya's aim of winning over Arth's heart seems to be a tiresome job, especially, when the bad and vehement brother, Ansh, who is seducing her like crazy and Sanya is too losing her grip over her emotions about this passionate stranger. So will she say "NO" to Ansh and move on to chase Arth? Is this fatal attraction is love? Read this novella to find out these mystifying puzzles.
The characters are flawlessly and skillfully crafted by the author. Once more, I was left mesmerized by the author's choice of simple yet powerful words to pen down her novella. The pace is really great and following Sanya's heart’s content is somewhat really enthralling. The author has crafted the twin brothers as opposite of their characters, like Arth being the gentle and kind-hearted boy, with whom you might feel safe and content and any girl would want to trade him for a perfect life-partner, whereas on the other hand, Arth's twin brother, Ansh, is a nasty and a bad guy and you'll always feel vulnerable in front him, not because he's going to harm you, but because you might fall in love with this bad guy too badly! The emotions that the author has depicted are quite heart-warming and the narration between the characters will keep you engaged to the book. In short, you are totally going to enjoy this romantic novella.
Wonderful sweet Bollywood-style romance where the heroine loves two men who just happen to be twins. This book raises a lot of interesting issues about sexuality, the idea of being in love and listening to your own heart despite what your head might say.
Sanya has been the childhood companion of the handsome twin brothers, Arth and Ansh. Arth was her childhood hero and she nurtured a dream in her heart that she’d get together with him one day. Ansh, on the other hand, was the bane of her life, who teased her, taunted her and made her life miserable with his pranks. It’s been a few years, and Sanya has met the brothers again. Now she’s ready to make Arth her own. But something strange is afoot. Ansh is the one lavishing attention on the now ravishingly pretty Sanya. Always hovering about, waiting on her every word. Her beloved Arth, however, doesn’t know she exists. Apart from the usual pleasantries, of course.
Sanya doesn’t understand it at all. What is going on? Or is anything going on? Anything at all?
A simple and moving tale of a young woman’s coming of age and stepping into maturity, written by a sensitive and talented author. The lesson that sometimes our dreams stand in the way of our true happiness is not an easy one to learn, but in the hands of a capable author, it can make a story that’s a joy to read. Just like this one.
I received a review copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Twin torment is a short Romance Novella by author Sundari Venkatraman. The story revolves around the main protagonist Sanya, living in London with her parents, Diwakar and Bindiya. Earlier, before shifting to London, they lived with the Sharma family: Shantanu and Ratna and their twin children, Arth and Ansh.
Sanya has a crush, a one-sided love towards Arth, her childhood sweetheart. But her relationship with Ansh was just terrible. They have been enemies and Ansh had not missed a single chance to trouble her when they were children.
The story progresses when Sanya came to Mumbai again for a visit to Sharma's house and how the equations between the childhood connections change.
The thing I loved most about this book was how the passion is being represented here. I love the way how Sanya puts her efforts towards her passion and how a mutual understanding between people works when they want to pursue their dreams. In today's time when we hear so many stories about how someone leaves or keeps aside their passion and dream for a relationship, this was something which I want to read because this is how it should have happened.
Also, one of the most important things in a relationship is patience. Patience, to wait for the partner to live their life in the way they want. Also, giving them the mutual space they need. And this was also one thing that I loved about this book because it is represented beautifully in the story. And one more thing which is shown delightfully here was parents. The way they think and act is something which we all can feel and connect.
There were some things if included in it could have been more spectacular. Like, if the character of Arth have been explored a little more and his point of view have been added, it would have been more interesting to read.
Overall, the story shows pleasingly how can someone's childhood decides their behaviour towards someone and how with time, things change and so do the people. Go with the book if you want to read some light, short, romantic, and hot romance because it has some elements of hot romance in it.
"Refusing to be pacified, Sanya glared at him. Oh, she so hated Ansh! Where was Arth, the twin she loved? “Where’s Arth?” she demanded." ..... ....... ........ ....... ...... ........ Why I am interested to read Sundari Venkitaraman's works is based on a fact that it is short, crisp, deep and romantic. The female protagonist here is far way different from her other female characters, she suffer being bored in life that will be very relatable to many readers. Her dad is rich and all her heart lies with her childhood sweetheart . The things gets complicated when the twin of the man of her heart appears, he is devilish handsome and will she fall for him? Or she get a life as she dreamt with the man she loved? The simple novel is a about many things, the journey of the female protagonist to Mumbai to embrace her happy childhood memories again and that her lover..! A nice descriptive one..!
The book has a sudden abrupt beginning, and at a crucial point it ends and the plot changes, the story is like a flash back.. the narrative techniques are worth noticing. Dear reader in the little confusing journey of Sanya, Ansh and Arth, may be you will also find you, or atleast you will pray in mind for the storm to be calmed. Because the book was so dear.
"Twin Torment" by Sundari Venkatraman is a wonderful story with fantastic well-developed characters. This is my third book by Sundari Venkatraman, and as usual, I was not disappointed. The author has a nice style for her writing. She can grab onto the emotions, focus her story on the characters while also keeping the reader’s attention, and expressing a great story.
This book has plenty of love; with Sanya’s story, you get to read about the love of Arth and Ansh too. The parents too have their share of love. The best part about the book is the generous amount of love sprinkled within the pages. The liberal attitudes and mindset of all the characters keep with the urbane milieu of the book makes it a very refreshing read.
The language was simple and the storytelling was good too, which kept me attracted to the book the whole time.
The author has beautifully portrayed human relationships, and the plot was interesting; very different from what I expected. This book is very well written, but the idea behind this story is not new, which is good.
This book is about the point when you befuddle your adolescent crush with affection and your adoration as desire.
The most awesome aspect of the book is the liberal measure of adoration sprinkled inside the pages. It comes off on the pursuer as well. I like that the creator has accomplished what she set off to do, and gives us a vibe decent enough sentiment with substance.
The novel is a breeze to peruse and I completed it quickly enough yet the story and characters left the inclination that possibly the story required more exciting bands in the road. I felt possibly the story could do with somewhat more clash or show as the majority of the issues get addressed exceptionally. The searing Ansh and energetic Sanya were a powerful blend. I would have wanted to see some more firecrackers!
Twin torment the book by Sundari Venkatraman is a wonderful book in its genre. I totally loved this book. It’s been quite some time since I read a gripping and hard-hitting story. A story that kept me on the edges and pulled me straight into it. A story that had more substance and preciseness that could go on raving about!
Right from the start, the author has set the perfect tone for the book. It’s racy, intriguing, and good enough for the reader’s mental gymnastics. Be it well-sketched characters or power-packed writing, the story does hold its reader’s attention. What I certainly enjoyed about this book is its atmospheric writing, rich with precise expressions and vivid description. I also loved the development of the plot, full of unexpected twists and turns.
The story revolves around Sanya, Arth and Ansh. Arth and Ansh are twins. Sanya last saw the twins, Arth and Ansh Sharma, when she was ten years old. Now, all grown up, she has come looking for gentle Arth, the twin she has loved ever since she can remember. But instead, she is confronted with fiery Ansh, who is hell-bent on seducing her. And what’s worse, she can’t seem to stop herself from responding to him. As she chases Arth and is chased by Ansh, Sanya finds herself on a crazy roller coaster ride with no way of getting off.
How will she handle this confusing situation in her life? Will she able to say that she loves one of them? Find it yourself 🌺 I tell you it will be awesome.
Overall I love the way the story is woven. And I'll recommend everyone to read this book.
Disclaimer:I received this book from the author and/or the publisher and The Book Club in exchange for an honest review.
Double Jeopardy by Sundari Venkatraman is short romantic novella, which by judging its cover, looks like a triangle love story, telling the story of Sanya who is caught between her childhood crush for Arth, and the unexplainable feeling she has for Ansh.
What I like…
Sundari has created characters that are at once both likeable and relatable. The characters, their personalities, intentions, relationships, conflicts, and feelings have all been described in a simplistic and effortless manner, yet it still leaves a lasting impression on you.
While parts of the story are predictable, the suspense has been handled very well, giving you a bold and interesting twist. The story also explores various topics like relationship with family, insecurities which rip apart friends, the concept of the crazy thing we call love, sensitive social issues, insensitive society & media, and importantly the journey of a self-discovery, of Sanya, a poster child for Millennials.
What I would have liked…
While the characters are relatable, it would have been great to see more depth in them. The intentions and choices of the characters could have been explained much better. The bond between the twin brothers, Arth and Ansh, should have been explored and expressed further. Sanya’s entire journey from trying to win her love to self-identification and then taking a path leading her back to her heart and her self-discovery seems a bit rushed, it would have been great to see it slowly unfold.
This would certainly have made the flow of the story better. The length of the story, unfortunately, is too short for our liking. Reading the story, I felt it kind of ended abruptly, and felt it should have been longer, a feeling which I believe you will agree with.
Overall…
Having never reviewed a book from the romantic genre, (I cannot even remember when I last read one), and being a person who never took the romantic genre as serious writing, the last few months have been an eye opener for me. The more writers, publishers, and editors I meet, the more I have a newfound respect for the hard work they put into it. Finally, by reading one and reviewing it, I can understand the hard work invested into it; and most importantly how it influences the reader.
Double Jeopardy while short, does succeed in moving the reader, which is the hallmark of good writing. Sundari Venkatraman’s Double Jeopardy deserves four out of five stars.
Here is wishing Sundari Venkatraman success in her career, and hoping to read more stories from her in the coming years.
Double Jeopardy is a 55 page eBook which I finished reading in an hour! It is a hot and spicy, is coming of age story of a young girl, Sanya! The book is about Sanya’s journey to woo her childhood love along with finding her true calling and listening to her heart despite the disapproval from the head. It is a story packed with love, romance and passion.
The author has a nice style to her writing. She is able to grab onto the emotion, focus her story on the characters while also keeping the reader’s attention, and telling a great story. I liked the pace with which the story unfolds.
Double Jeopardy is a very short story, which I enjoyed reading. But a small thought is niggling me. I am wondering, what if the length of the story was a bit longer? I believe, the depth of the characters would have emerged better and a leisurely pace of the story, especially towards the end would have balanced the fervor with moments of deliberate quiet!
An exciting, light, quick breezy read. Double Jeopardy is highly recommended.
Sundari Venkatraman’s Double Jeopardy is completely contemporary-right from its cover, title to its overall feel. Set against the backdrop of urban India, Sundari Venkatraman has successfully managed to weave a sizzling, Bollywood style love story with ease. The liberal attitudes and mindset of all the characters clearly keeps with the urbane milieu of the book making it a very refreshing read. With her perky writing style Sundari Venkatraman has effectively managed to let the reader indulge in the headiness of young love and crushes without any inhibitions. This one is a really delightful read!
I love books which are romantic and have happy endings. And to say that this book was a nice, short and sweet read, would not be the right description of the book. It was toooooooo good. I can read it once again. The story is simple and the characters, especially Sanya, are relatable. The language is simple and the flow, good. The author has beautifully portrayed human relationships. The plot was interesting; very different from what I expected. The author has described the feelings of the characters. I loved it when Ansh calls his mother, “Jewel of my life’, I wish all mother-child relationships are like this. But the downside, the book ended to soon.
Double fix...Finished reading in flat 2 hours, that hard to put down
So after months of pushing and controlling the temptation to read Sundari Venkatraman's new novel Double Jeopardy, I finished it today in flat 2 hours ! Ya, it was that hard to put down and patting myself for giving her the apt Title-The Indian Mills & Boon Queen :D
Sweet Bollywood romance with loads of compassion. So many preconceived notions about love, orientation and twins have been dealt with. Enjoyed reading Double Jeopardy!
As always I feel sad when I see the end of Sundari Venkatraman's books but they never fail to give me loads of pleasure whilst I'm reading them. "Twin Torment" is yet again another winner.
Sanya is a life-of-the-party kind of girl, living in London with her rich parents and just bored with her monotonous life. Without any purpose, when she gets a chance to revisit Mumbai and meet her childhood love Arth Sharma, she finds herself in an insoluble dilemma where she has to choose between her love for Arth and her attraction towards the devil twin Ansh who used to torment her in the childhood. Will Sanya end up with Arth or Ansh? This book will make you read through to find the answers. The way the events are unfolded to portray the changes in feelings which the characters go through is commendable and the other characters were also actively involved in taking the story forward.
As the story progresses and one gets involved in it, the reader can easily visualise the happenings and feel whatever the characters go through, which is ultimately what a good book should do according to me.
This was a book that warms your heart and is a perfect romantic book that includes everything. There are passionate moments that will just make you go mushy and provide a very tingling sensation.
I have to say this author's writing is so articulate and graceful. The story flowed exquisitely and flawlessly leaving me completely captivated and entranced. I felt myself never wanting it to end.
Romance is my second most favourite genre and I love it when the duo's chemistry makes the story more interesting.
Sanya wants to find her path in life, but she is clueless as to what she wants. Then, when she finds that her childhood neighbours are still in touch with her father, she gets nostalgic remembering the angel and devil twins Arth and Ansh. Ansh always used to annoy her and Arth always protected her.
I liked this different plot in this book. It looks like a love triangle but the actual story is different.
I could relate to Sanya's character. Actually, every young girl starting her twenties can relate when you just don't know what you want in life but when you get some inspiration from any elder person who has got experience and can totally relate to our situation, it becomes easy to choose our path.
There is a twist in the story which I found well captured looking at today's changing times. I couldn't guess it. But all gets well when there is happy ending.
Overall, I liked it. The story develops well. The language is lucid. I liked all characters especially Ansh and his mother, Rati. She supports Sanya in her decisions. Sanya was lost at the beginning of the story but she finally understood her drive. Recommended to romance readers!
What one loves in childhood stays in the heart forever.
The story revolves around Sanya, a sweet little girl who turned into a dedicated workholic girl. Before shifting to London, she used to live near the Sharma's family and Sanya loves being around Arth.
Arth and Ansh are twins but Sanya hates Ansh for numerous reasons. Then Sanya's family have to leave for London and she lost her crush. After many years Sanya went to meet the Sharma's. But everything changed.
Will Sanya be able to meet her childhood crush after years? Does Arth feel the same as Sanya?
The story is sweet, simple and sensual in some places which makes the book interesting. There is a major twist in the story. To know about it you must read this one.
In this story, there is a touch of family, love, and relationship, which makes it an easy read and relatable to readers. The witty humour is another plus point in the writing style. A book which contains love, drama, emotions and twists is a full package. What else do you need in a book?
Sundari Venkatraman is a prolific writer whose romance novellas are my go to when I am looking for a change from fiction and nonfiction. Twin Torment is one of her contemporary romances set in Mumbai. The lead protagonist, Sanya Chaturvedi, is based in London and the only child of a rich businessman. However, she has gotten bored of partying and spending her time throwing money and lazing around. The emptiness and aimlessness she faces propel her forward to visit Mumbai, the place where she had spent the first twelve years of her life.
Her stay in Mumbai is planned with the Sharmas, the neighbours of the Chaturvedis, and Sanya would give everything away to get a chance to spend time with her childhood sweetheart, Arth Sharma. But the guy of her dreams is to be seen nowhere and it is his twin Ans who keeps on pestering her and hanging around to torment her. Ansh was the one who teased and annoyed her while Arth took her side. Now that Sanya is spending most of her time in Ansh's company she finds herself falling for the devilish guy.
Though it seems to be a love triangle on the forefront, Twin Torment has a well executed plot which is much more than that. I found Sanya to be the most relatable character of the lot, her indecisiveness about choosing a path to follow is an issue a vast majority of individuals face throughout their lives. Sundari Venkatraman's writing is lucid that makes Twin Torment a great choice for new readers or people who are looking for a short read. In the course of the book Sanya realises her calling. Twin Torment is a cover to cover read, do get yourself a copy.
This is Sanya's love story. She had her history with the Sharma brothers. Arth, the gentleman twin was her crush from childhood itself. Even when she'd shifted to London, all she could think of was Arth. While the other twin, the devil one, according to her, Ansh, had always tortured her and she never had a liking for him. Well, her return visit to India will embark a very amazing journey for her.
Will she find her prince charming in Arth? Will he revert the emotions she has for her?
The story has a happy ending but it's not an expected plot. One cannot expect how things will turn out in the end.
The most important character of this book is Sanya and her growth as a mature career focussed girl. She made an emotional bond with me while I read about her and made me live her journey through her eyes. What an amazing character she has been portrayed into.
This is an amazing plot one that kept me gripped till the very last page.
Hype created for something in particular is not easy. Well, to start with, I would directly point out the smooth and peaceful cover page of the book which in itself delivers an energy to the reader's mind with an aroma of love and makes one pick up the book and check-out the details or description of the story narrated. To try out this book is like grabbing an experience in itself which speaks of words which hails from the depths of the heart. I'm quite enthralled with this work provided by the author which is well researched and well equipped in terms of the set of words used in the book. After reading books like "Shaan Gets Hitched" and various other reads from the same author, the phrase of how love is in the air has been proved true to an extent. Through many tales heard from the medieval period, I've seen how every book based on love as the actual foundation delivers a wonderful message before the epilogue makes its appearance in the book. I liked the way author's thought process works and how all of her books are majorly jotted down out of love which she witnessed in different forms throughout her life. This book would easily slip into the bookshelf's section of books on love, drama and narrative emotions. Although the pace did lack the expected limit after the interval section of the book, the story yet managed to cover up the flaws by unveiling quite the major secrets of the tale and one such secret is going to be unexpected until one scrolls through the story. I liked the narrative style which is seen in an improvised manner compared to the previous one from the same author. The triangle of love and lust formed between Ansh, Sanya and Arth and the way Sanya is made to face the statements she failed to make decisions upon were all quite admirable. I loved how a sensational imaginary scene is developed at times out of uncontrollable senses with an urge between Arth & Sanya and how the author chose to portray all of it.
The book Twin Torment is a story of Sanya who falls in love with one of the Twin Ansh or Arth.
The book, as always, has a good flow and there is never a dull moment when you are reading a Sundari Venkatraman's book. The narration of the book is quite simple and falls into the genre of romance. And the reader can feel the love till the very end.
The book has a flair for friendship, childhood love, imagination, fight, and family. You will be able to say her books are generally family packed with Drama and Love.
This book differs from others, as apart from love it also focuses on Sanya's career and how she found her calling. Also Arthand Ansh's, and how they handle their work and not leave behind everything for the sake of love.
Since I have been an adherent fan of Sundari Venkatraman's book, this book didn't work for me as others, as all her book is about a dreamy prince charming sweeping the girl away, this book took more of a practical approach. Hence I believed the sparks were missing in the book. This book had more of me missing the smile I have after reading Maam's book. I wanted more love and drama.
Overall expectations were high, but it fizzed out.
TWIN TORMENT written by Sundari Venkatraman is a wonderful book, which mainly revolves around the characters Sanya, Arth and Ansh.
The book is a beautiful love story based on lightning chemistry. The author made the worthy twins and their expressions of love and their problems very memorable in her writings. There is a strong connection between love and feelings.
The description of the meetings between the two lovers was beautiful. Although the problems got bigger, they were solved easily. I read it with great interest. It's more than just a normal love story. I liked it a lot in the end. Character creations are amazing. The conversations are good and very interesting. It is well written and has an attractive cover design. The language is simple which makes it an easy read. I would recommend this book to my friends.
Title - TWIN TORMENT, a romance novella by Sundari Venkatraman
The narrative of this amazing plot is very simple yet intriguing. It is a romantic journey of Sanya who was initially fond of a boy named Arth Sharma. Well, Arth had a twin brother Ansh who used to torture Sanya during their childhood days.
This book is Sanya's love journey. Her family had shifted to London and all those years of her stay in London made her miss Arth the most. And when her dad suggested her visit India all her thoughts made her linger about Arth. I won't spoil, and tell you how things turned out during her visit. But she did find her career path during this visit of her's. Thanks to Ratna and Shantanu Sharma who are both the parents of Arth and Ansh.
Will she receive the emotions she expects from Arth? Will her quest for love end with her finding her prince charming? The twist will make everyone amazed.
What amazed me the most was her chemistry with her partner whose bond had gradually progressed very positively even after a rough start and the ending just took my heart away.
Sanya's character development throughout the story had been very inspiring from being a rich kid to a career-oriented focused girl and her character just made a connection with me while reading.
If you enjoy reading love stories, you will enjoy reading this happily ever after type plot.
Twin Torment by Sundari Venkatraman is one of the best books of this author.
I have recently been reading her works regularly and this seemed to be the best for me till now.
One thing about this author is, she is very good at characterization that I can imagine how the characters would be looking like, reacting to and so on.
In this story, the main protagonist Sanya is shown as a strong, confident and young girl who has completed B.A. in London but haven't figured out what to do in life. She then gets an opportunity to visit the teenage love she left behind in India, Arth.
When she reaches India and started spending time with Arth's family, she realises a change in the behaviour of Arth, who was once all caring and sweet to Sanya. At the same time, she notices Ansh, the twin of Arth, who used to torment and tease Sanya all the time turn out to be the sweetest and caring person.
Did Arth ever love Sanya? Or did he find anyone else after Sanya left for London? Why is Ansh behaving all different to Sanya? Can Sanya get any clarity on her career? Or will she end up marrying anyone for her mother's sake? Will Sanya find answers to all these questions? Know about it in this read.
From the perspective of a reader, the narration is smooth, flowy and connected. This is a light-read that could be completed in a single sitting as well. Overall this is a perfect pick for readers who want to go for light romance and curious reads.
Sanya is a beautiful girl in love with Arth, a kind, sweet, and charming person since her childhood. She last met Arth and his twin sibling, Ansh when she was a kid but instantly fell for Arth, given his personality and charisma. After a few years in London, she comes back to Mumbai to pursue her career and also to rekindle her long-lost love with Arth. Getting the fantastic opportunity to spend the holiday with his family, Sanya grabs the opportunity only to find Ansh flirting with her. The bad boy won't leave her alone and tries everything to get her. In a dilemma to choose between the good boy Arth and Bad Boy Ansh, what will Sanya do???
This book is a short and sweet read. The emotions, the feeling, the pain, and the confusion are shown and described properly throughout the book. The writing style is smooth and clean for new readers to also enjoy. I couldn't find any grammatical error and the characters development was commended well. There are some traits of twins that match each other no matter how different they are, those traits were found in this book. The book was 136 pages and it was a short, sensual, and beautifully written book. Overall, a great book with some really good character development and some sizzling romance. This book is worth trying as it is a perfect fit for romance readers and can also get over in one sitting.
Twin Torment by Sundari Venkatraman is a contemporary romance. I am reading quite a lot of the author books recently as they are short, sweet and full of romance. They also have family intricacies blended in them so it makes for a good read.
The story revolves around Sanya, and two twin brothers, Ansh, and Arth. They all had been childhood friends. Sanya had a secret childhood crush on Arth, and when she had to leave the country, she was devastated to be away from him. But an opportunity appeared before her to rekindle that love. But things have been different from what she used to remember. She is confused between her long-awaited crush, and Ansh her childhood tormenter. Read the book to know more.
I like the character of Ansh, and how he has been defined. A sweet, witty, handsome man with mischief and stunning character growth.
I like the layers of the character of Sanya throughout the storyline. From being a party girl to a lovesick girl to a hard-working girl working on her career growth. What I didn't like was how she invaded someone's private life because she wasn't able to let go of her childhood fantasy and accept the reality and how she is feeling today.
The language is pretty simple. The entire book is a sweet, soft and rom-com style read.
This is the most unique story I have ever read until now. A girl who is attracted to one twin, Ansh, and love another one, Arth.
Reading this book, I recognise a love triangle kind of a story. I don't know if we can say love triangle or not because Sanya who is attracted to both twins is stuck in a dilemma.
Also, the book contains many things love, relationship, emotions, career advice and many more. In this book, I felt all the characters are perfect and kind like Ratna who always used to support Sanya in her career and all the other characters were well-written as well. It was a fictional story but when I was reading this book it does not seem fictional at all.
In my reading experience, I found this book amazing and beautiful. I learnt many new things from this book especially the part when it comes to career. Grab your copy now.
In this book, I found the characters were plotted perfectly. I will recommend you to read this book if you like to read romance fiction.
The premise of the book is evident from the title ‘Twin Torment'’ as well as the cover; that it still manages to surprise the reader is what is special about the book. The story traces the unrest in the mind and life of Sanya, a rich, pampered girl.
The story is handled in a mature fashion which appeals to readers past their 20’s even though it is about a young girl. The hallmark of a good romance is that it attracts all with its ‘love story’. All age groups can identify with the dilemma the main protagonists face.
This book has plenty of love; with Sanya’s story you get to read about the love of Arth and Ansh too. The parents to have their share of love! The best part about the book is the generous amount of love sprinkled within the pages. It rubs off on the reader too.
The boys Arth and Ansh are perfect Mills and Boon material and leave you drooling for more. In fact, Ansh’s character and personality are developed subtly almost perfectly suiting to the changing moods of Sanya.
Sanya, the little lost girl in the beginning quickly finds her calling and her inherent strength shines through during the hard times, making her more loved by the readers.
The author has sprinkled a generous doze of sizzle and sex in the pages, which have been handled with a lot of confidence. She had not just added pages about a roll in the sheets but has linked it beautifully to the powerful emotion called love. I wish there could have been more incidents as a prelude to the final one. The story moves at a fast pace and the various sub-plots mesh and take the story forward.
I felt maybe the story could do with a little more conflict or drama as most of the issues get solved in a very smooth manner. The fiery Ansh and vivacious Sanya were a potent mix; would have loved to see some more fireworks!
The novel is a breeze to read and I finished fast enough but the story and characters left feeling that maybe the story required more twists and turns. I appreciate that the author has achieved what she set out to do – give us a feel good romance with substance. She handled some sensitive issues as well as she detailed the sensual meeting of two lovers.
My verdict is: Go and grab your copy today, share as much love as you can!
