While I did like this story and think that it was a sweet romance... There were also A LOT of times were I got so bored and frustrated with the hot and cold vibes as well as excuses and repetitions throughout the story.
I literally wanted to yell for them to "get it on already!" since it was SO OBVIOUS how attracted they were to one another. *sighs*
SO BASICALLY...there was a lot of:
*Ignoring and dancing around their feelings *A lot of talk about how much they like each other but don't want to ruin what they have just in case their relationship went bad. *A hell of A LOT of sexual frustration. *And once again, lots of dilly-dallying and moments where there were progress made between the two only to digress the next second.
IF YOU CAN HANDLE THAT then by all means go for this book!! I'm not at all saying that it's a bad read (because it's not) but I honestly think that readers will need a lot of patience to get through this since I didn't.
So over all, a decent and cutesy read but kind of dragged and made me want to at times strangle Aiden and Hailey at the same time.
But then again, on a positive note, I'm also glad to have FINALLY seen their relationship play out so in that sense I'm placated. -*I know, I'm kind of a walking, talking contradiction in itself. I get that A LOT.*
I'm now hoping for maybe a Macie and Jaden story or a Miles and (??) story!! Who are these characters you want to know? Well, you just got to read and find out! ;)
I have mixed feelings while reading this book. But I have to say I loved the first book a lot more than this one. First, there were so much pushing away in this book. Then the OM drama. It's not exactly because the guy wanted her. It's how he helped her and went too far. I already knew it will end that way. That the guy will do that but it still pissed me off when that time came.
The story is about Aiden and Hailey.
He's Allison and Liam's (book 1 H and h) best friend and Liam's roommate. She's Liam's younger sister and Allison's roommate in book 1.
These four are a tight group. They always spend time together. Aiden and Liam are going to the same team, North Carolina Panthers. He's the running back and they are moving to Charlotte with Allison and she'll be left alone.
It won't be long before they move there but these two keep pushing each other away. They're too afraid to say something because they don't want to lose each other. Will it be too late before they realize they have to fight for it?
To be honest, I didn't like that the push and pull happened from start to almost the end. They only got together a few chapters before the story ended. They kept on dancing around each other and kept thinking to keep their distance to each other because they thought the other didn't feel the same and that they can't have each other. He can't even fight for her when he thought she's with another guy. I kept on waiting when he's going to make a move and I had to wait long. What I really enjoyed here was Liam and Allison. They're still so cute together.
I waited to post this because I wanted it to go live, and now that it has I can post my review...... MORE WITH YOU by KAYLEE RYAN is AMAZING!!!! I loved Aiden and Hailey's story. It started out a little slow at first but then it picked up and I could not put it down. I knew going in that this was going to be one of the hiding of their feelings cuz that is just what Aiden and Hailey did in Anywhere With You. Kaylee wrote this in a way that you got to see how each one was struggling with their feelings. I felt from them both. Im so glad that they finally got together and got their HEA!!!! I would so totally recommend this book to all of my friends that read. Kaylee did an OUTSTANDING JOB writing this series. I cant not wait for more from Mrs. Ryan. Hopefully with a novella of Liam and Allie having a baby or Aiden and Haileys wedding or maybe Macie and Kayden or Miles might just get their own story. Whatever is to come Lets just say Im excited!!!!!!!
Allison had no business telling Liam to not warn Aiden off his sister as Aiden pulled the same shit with Liam.. And at that time, she didn't tell anything to Aiden, the hypocrite..
I knew I'd love this book because well I loved the other one. There were times I wanted to strangle the characters and just scream 'GET FREAKY ALREADY!' but good things come to those who wait I suppose. And well Aiden is well he's hot! "this him shirtless. Regardless of how often, it always had the same effect one me. Aiden has a true runner's body. Lean. Fit, Ripped." Aiden knows not to talk about certain things, "not going there, man." I know better than to let Allison or Hailey either one hear me talking about their 's***." I enjoy the meals they make us. I'm keeping my trap shut." Aiden he likes to be close to his girl, "I feel his breath hot on my ear. Did he just growl? "Yes, angel, you did that. Now stay still so I can get myself under control before your brother kicks my a**," he roughly whispers." He appreciates Hailey's body he just doesn't want others to appreciate it as well, "no scratch that; she had on over her scraps of material she is trying to pass off as a suit. Holy effing sh**! Hailey is wearing a barely there blue bikini." NEVER touch what is his, "who the eff does he think he is? Touching what's mine! I step up close to Hales. "I would appreciate it if you would remove your hands from my girl," I say through gritted teeth. The guy must hear my anger and know I'm not messing around, because he drops his arm. I immediately pull Hailey's back against my chest and wrap my arms around her waist. I kiss her temple. She's safe." Hailey and Aiden sure know how to shock people, "she pulls open the door and Allison's mouth drops open. She takes Hailey in and what she's wearing. She looks over Hailey's shoulder ad spots me sitting up in bed. Sans shirt. I smile and wave." I'd wave to Aiden you just got laid man.
Cover sweet and cute 7/10 but the summary is a little off. particularly the 3rd paragraph.
Opening It was okay, I guess, It didn't bore me much, unlike the first book.
Hero ah Aiden, okay this guys is hilarious as hell, I actually like him but towards the end he seemed so childish and immature.
Heroine the little sister. Hailey. I had no problems with Hailey whatsoever, but it seems to me she's a little do desperate. I mean grow a backbone woman, the guy judged you, and you're the one asking forgiveness? whats up with that?
Relationships bullcrap, they kept on dancing around each other, one step forward two steps back! Especially Aiden, one moment he stirs away from her, and then the next sweet and cuddly! damn he's so confusing
Dialogue tons of fluffy dialogues , you can count on that. There wasn't much of confrontations on this book but tons of self reflections by the hero.
The plot cliche, best friend's little sister. brother's best friend choose your pick.
Scene my favorite would be the texts and phone calls. You have to read to find out why.
Ending I hate it actually, It seems to me that Aiden didn't do anything but ponder to himself while Hailey does all the chasing and apologizing.
Setting Allison, Liam and Aiden had to move for college which I thing is great for this story because Hailey was given a chance to meet new people.
Pace a bit slow but nevertheless good.
Enjoyment I did enjoy this, but not much. I wanted Aiden and Hailey to end up together and I got my wish. but other than that, I don't have any reason to read this again.
Recommendations umm.. nope no recommendation except don't mind me, I'm just being a judgmental bitch again.
edit: This has been bugging me. In the book they mention how Avril Lavigne's new song 'Rock n Roll' is the girls' new favorite song. Okay fine. Then a while later they mention that the love the line "I'm the motherf***ing princess"...... Now I'm a fan of her earlier CDs and I know the line, but don't think I ever heard that song. My mind automatically went to 'Girlfriend' so this morning I looked through Avril songs and sure enough that song is 'Girlfriend'. REALLY?! You can't even get the name of the song correct? Don't pull lyrics then, the song would have been enough OR just say they like that one song with this lyric. *sigh*
I feel like I should just copy and paste my review for the first book here since that seems to be hoe the author created a handful of these scenes.... some even seem word for word but I'm too lazy and don't care enough to look back through both ebooks to check.
That being said, I also enjoyed this one, it even had drama that the first was lacking. This has been a quick fun series and I'm looking forward to book 3 with all 4 POVs, even though they'll basically all be the same character style with slight dialogue differences i.e. angel vs beautiful girl.
Some plots just never get old – just like More With You. It was something familiar, but can still bring some giddiness over some romantic scenes, and can still bring anticipation over things that you might have some idea on, but with the way the story goes, one can never be so sure.
Aiden and Hailey – FINALLY!!!!
Since the end of the first book, I was already rooting for these two. Liam and Allison had already their HEA, and it was time for them to get theirs too, but the problem is: he’s her best friend’s little sister and he doesn’t want their little group to be broken once things didn’t work out with the both of them. So they try to keep their feelings checked, afraid that one slip of emotion can cause major devastation not just to Liam but to the whole group.
But he needs to decide now whether he wants her or not – Hailey is not a little girl anymore and she’s starting to draw attention from the opposite sex. Can he watch her be with other men? Or can he man up and tell her his feelings?
Now, with all the wedding plans, and series of events that is bringing them close together, will both of them be strong enough to battle their feelings for each other?
He could have just risk his balls, I mean if you really want something, if you really WANT it THAT BAD, you will cross mountains, swim rivers and catch some stars. So, it wouldn’t really matter if her older brother is your best friend. He – BOTH OF THEM- frustrate me at times. Everyone can see they are INTO each other, but none of them was sure about it, none of them would take risks. Their friendship means so much more, which I clearly understand. They needed to be sure with their emotions, of if they’re each other’s “THE ONE” before clearly taking a leap. Good thing people around them had more insight and was happy share it with them.
I love seeing Liam and Allison living their HEA, and still head-over-hills in love with each other. Although Liam was quite busy with his new girl, he would still made sure that Hailey was well-taken care of by… Aiden. :D See?! He trusts her with him!!!!
Just as when everything was about to be perfect because finally Aiden took the steps forward, something happened (out of context) that brought a huge wall between these two. I WAS NEARING my HEA – what in the world happened? I always appreciate a friend’s help but not at the expense of something that can hurt another person. It took some groveling, and a lot of heartaches before everything went back to normal again.
Honesty, trust and taking risks – they can be just simple terms, but it can make or break a relationship. Both Aiden and Hailey needed to be honest with their feelings and with each other, and trust their emotions enough to take the risk.
I think I love this more than the first one, I enjoyed reading the story and watch both Aiden and Hailey in their journey to their own HEA. It was sweet, not that long, the steamy scene – it was worth the wait.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
We met these characters in book one, but now it's their turn to tell the story. Hailey MacCoy has pretty much fallen in love with her brother's best friend Aiden Emerson. But he's also fallen. This story is of how these two try to keep their feelings at bay instead of exploring them. And why?... Because they don't want to ruin what they already have.
This book is hard core lovey dovey, instant-love, love-at-first-sight quality... if you're into that kind of thing. These characters need to work for their love. I think Kaylee Ryan's characters are given love so quickly that the books feel a little too young adult rather than new adult. New adult doesn't mean there's just sex happening; it also means the characters think differently and act differently than adolescents.
Overall, this book had a bit more conflict than the first book Anywhere with You had. I have to say this book is barely getting the 3.5 STARS out of 5 STARS. The only reason I even gave it that rating was because the book flows well and the author can write pretty well, but all she needs is more drama.

This is a very sweet, romantic story about two friends who recognize that they are feeling more than ‘friend’ feelings for each other. Neither Hailey nor Aiden know how to acknowledge these feelings to the other. They each fear the resulting impact on their friendship should a relationship not work out. Ms. Ryan has created characters that are likeable and fun. The thoughts and feelings both of the characters experience are true of most everyone falling in love. While I like the sweet interaction between Hailey and Aiden, I would like to see more action (doing things together), and less reflection and self-questioning.
I don’t feel my emotions are ‘getting a workout’ until a certain point (no spoilers here) later in the book. The scenes relating to teen drinking are handled truthfully and responsibly. The scenes involving intimacy are handled with tact and sweet passion.
I feel this story is appropriate for new adults, the college age student. This book contains some sexual content and underage drinking. I have given this book 3.5 stars.
It felt like forever to finially get to read MORE WITH YOU, but that was just me as I have been waiting for Aiden's story. The Story ANYWHERE WITH YOU was just that Amazing that I could not wait for this book. Aiden and Hailey have their story to tell and it was well worth the wait. Aiden, Hailey Allison and Liam are all Best Friends. Now that Liam and Allison are planning their wedding, Aiden realized he wants what his two best friends have found. Hailey has been in Love with Aiden for as long as she can remember, but would rather stay friends the lose what her and Aiden share. But a touch here and theres makes it so hard. Time goes by friendly flirting, stirs up Aiden's feeling for Hailey and realize its been her all along. Can Aiden and Hailey make it from friends to something more , could they be soulmates. This Author pulls your feeling out, the heartache, the Love the happy times. They even may get a Happy Ever After. Totally recommend . You will fall in Love with Aiden.
More with You is the second book in the With You series. It can be read as a stand alone. Anywhere With You is the first book. It's Allie and Liam story, they are is book two also. More With You is Hailey and Aiden's story. All four characters are in both book one and two. It would be better if you read Anywhere With You first but if you haven't read it, you will not be lost when reading More with You.
More with You is a great story. Hailey is Liam's little sister. Aiden is Liam's best friend. Hailey and Liam like each other but each thinks the other only see them as a friend. It's a cute story. If the characters just talked about their feels there would not have been a story. When Aiden and Hailey finally realize they are on the same page with their relationship, it's great. I loved the ending and it's not a cliffhanger.
More with You is a quick read. Once you pick it up you won't be able to put it down.
I liked this sequel to Anywhere with You, but it was repetitive a lot. Allison and Liam's story all over again, even in the way they talk to each other and the way they have their "firsts". I'm going to read the last book to this series for only one reason: I give the autor one more chance to make it up to me.
I liked this one but there was so much lead up to them being together that I felt like the HEA part was rushed. I liked the characters though. I read this one before the first in the series so I'll go back and read that one. The author says there's a 3rd book where they have their extended HEAs so I'll be happy to see that.
I didn't like the first book but this is the second one so I imagined new characters...new story....I thought, "why not?" Big Mistake. It isn't as bad as the first one but not nearly good to finish it. As it is, I stopped reading midway and just skipped to the end.
I loved this story. The characters are amazing. I love reading about them. I can't get enough. I cant choose if Id rather be one of them or just be their friend and get to hang out with them. This book is super sweet and romantic. I found myself have a few aaawwwweeeee moments. I think the cover of this book is perfect for the story.
Honestly with the way the first book went I knew I was going to love this one. I only have one thing to say; what is with book boyfriends and the name Aiden? Every single one that I love is named that. I am sad to read the last one because I know it is over, but I am excited to see how she ends it.
Young love and the trials and tribulations it entails. Poor Aiden and Hales having to maneuver through them. In the end, it only made them stronger. Again, to be young with your whole life ahead of you. As always....Enjoy!!!!
Aiden and Hailey will bring you all the feels. I was so excited to get their story. The emotions are definitely high in this amazing book. I love getting more of the whole gang. I really don't want it to end.
