The only thing left to do is now play the game OFFICIALLY
I recommend to everyone, but in my opinion the only real way to understand it is to have played the game yourself or at least watched like a hundred let’s-plays
Sat down and read this in one sitting. Sally Face is my all time favorite game and has a special place in my soul. I don’t see much about it anymore and no one I know really knows of it so I was shocked to see it in a book store so I had to grab it.
I loved the time line explanation, game hints and achievements, and the creators backstory. Reading this really let me appreciate the game from an outside perspective which was super neat. One cool thing I noticed was that the main squads birthdays were the dates the episodes were released which I thought was cool. I love this game!
Finished the game yesterday and read the art book today. You get interesting insights on the development on the game but it is really biographic. The little infos on characters is interesting to read as well. The only downside to me is that there are a lot of low-res pics that seem to be taken out of the game directly and blown up on the whole page on many instances. I don’t know why you wouldn’t just make high-res versions for the book or maybe keep pictures like that smaller. However that is the only critique for the book I have. I was really excited to read it and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend it to fans of the game and behind-the-scenes enthusiasts like me.
Adds a lot more depth to an already deep dive of a game, as well as a walk through, autobiography, behind the scenes, and more. I would highly recommend any fan of the game to buy this.
