A few words that I remember from this book that instantly caught my attention:
- albus = white (Dumbledore!) - niger = black (the country Nigeria?) - malus = apple ('mal' means 'bad' in French. Makes me think of the story/myth of Creation where eating apple caused something 'bad' happen afterwards) - natālis = birthday (Does the name 'Natalia/Natalie' mean birthday as well?) - sinistrōsum = to the left (Sin? Sinister? The Left party?)
A book for the young crowd, getting them to talk in Latin about various subjects. It is rather dated (1995) but enjoyable enough. Illustrations are sort of strange.
I think this was an extremely enjoyable book to read. Very accessible and entertaining. It is a pretty thin book, so you're going to read it quickly and there it goes one star.
