Megan Faircloth is thankful for her menial job as a typist even if it is the most mundane thing in the world. The only bright spots are the days when two stunningly handsome businessmen stop by the office for appointments with management. She watches them covertly and in quiet moments finds herself thinking about what it would be like to be with both of the gorgeous men at once.Nick and Sean Dorian have had their eyes on Megan for some time. Furtive glances from behind fluttering lashes and delicate blushes, catching her kind words and interactions with her coworkers, have them convinced that she is someone they want to get to know better. Much better. Megan’s fantasy comes to life, not only being with two men, but having them dominate her. However, circumstances push her away from the men. There's a fine line between domination and control. Nick and Sean know they need to temper themselves to allow her to be her own woman and be happy. But they have every intention of convincing Megan that she belongs to them, and only them.
my advise? do not buy it and save your money for another menage
before page 10: they never ever talked to each other. they noticed each other but distance away
page 10: they exchanges names, couple words, left each other - they may exchange 15 words max
between page 10 and 14: they do not meet, do not talk to each other.
page 14:
“There’s something about Megan.” Sean thought about the covert way Megan had watched them every time they were near the typists’ area. “She’s different from any other woman we’ve been with.” Nick looked like he was thinking it over. “She’s the kind of woman a man could settle down with for the rest of his life.” He had a faint look of surprise at his own words. “She’s kind of woman we might just want to keep,” Sean said. “The one we’ve been looking for.” Sean could almost see the gears whirring in his brother’s head. “Possibly,” Nick said. “Definitely,” Sean countered and Nick gave a nod, conceding the point to Sean.
page 14 (minus the 4 first pages) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
alllllooooooooo???? they exchanged 15 words and the heroes are already thinking forever??????
This is plain ridiculous.
I think this author missed the turn to YA romances but sadly this story will not even fit there because she decided to include sex with twins that have one brain and 2 privates. She also decided to give them the title of Dom when in fact the real title is Caveman...
I could ramble and ramble about this book but I will try to forget it as soon as possible.
I had high hopes for this book. It started out great, kept my attention, funny parts, and the middle came & everything fell apart. The 2nd half of book was very very rushed, the plot just broke apart, but at least there was an HEA. The author started out strong. This book could have been 300-400 pages easily & I would have enjoyed it because the characters could have been expanded & the story line laid out more thoroughly. I really wanted to give it a better grade but can't.
Read for a group challenge. The story line was ok, great writing and hawt scenes. It felt rushed towards the end as we don't get much of their everyday life only their initial meeting and then one more encounter when they made up six months go by then she gets a double proposal.
This was an okay read, not my favourite of Jaymie Holland's certainly. The relationship between these three felt very forced for more than one reason and made me feel more angry than sexy. Not the story I was after on this occasion.
It wasn’t to be a Marry Christmas for Megan Faircloth. Just days before this joyous annual holiday she was laid off from her job and left with her yet unpaid rent and various other bills and she had no immediate employment prospects. Life isn’t fair. What made things even worse was finding out that two men (twins) she had been secretly ogling when they came to her former place of employment were the root-cause of her termination. They offered her compensation but how could they compensate for ruining her life? The twins, Nick and Sean Dorian were self made millionaires and owned the company she was formerly an employee of. Her random termination was a blessing in disguise for the two of them. One of their basic rules was not to have personal relationships with employees so since she was now officially unemployed, she was fair game. Another one of these self-imposed rules was that they shared everything; including their women. Since the writing of Fifty Shades of Gray there have been many spin-offs to this theme. BDSM and unfathomable amounts of wealth are common denominators. This story adds an extra twist with the ménage á trios angle. I don’t personally go in for this or the domination factor which is probably reflected in my two star rating.
Well... slightly arousing, slightly appalling. Really close to non-con, but kept to consenual per her fantasies.
Megan has the hots for twins, Nick and Sean, only she doesn't realize they are in reality her bosses. They swoop in to rescue her after she's been fired, advances are made, but she refuses them. They plot a Merry Christmas attack on her senses and the BDSM was so over the top. Way to ease the new girl into the lifestyle, boys. I oughta slap some sense into you!
I don't know... It's a short story, but really, it's too short for this kind of first-time experience.
Wow girls you're going to need to fan yourself during and after reading this novel. Sexy hot alpha twins... check. Shy but oh so naughty heroine...check. Scenes that makes you swoon and blush over wanting to experience yourself...check again. Hotness, sexiness, melt your panty dominating but loving hero's makes this novel extremely naughty. If you like naughty and have that curious streak in you then this is your kind of read. Come on now...who wouldn't dream of identical sexy twins who are not only rich but totally loveable giving you their all.
It was ok. You got the basic info about the characters but you were left wanting to know more. The author tells you Megan will be pursued but all they do is one dinner. This could have been better not sure if the author wanted it to be so short or if she is adding. Have not read from this author before but will check into some of her other writings. It just leaves you wanting to know more.
This book started out great. The downfall of it was how the chapters were set up and the fact that one scene was set up into multiple chapters when it could have been one chapter and moved along to something else. It was mostly one sex scene with four different chapters on it instead of leaving it in one. Good story line just set up wrong.
Inked is a fun contemporary romance by Jaymie Holland. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. It is a M/F/M menage though, so it may not be for everyone. Ms. Holland has provided readers with a fun, quick read. Megan was fired from her job by brothers Sean and Nick. Then fired from her next job by the same brothers. Megan, Sean and Nick's story is filled with drama, humor and smokin' hot sexy bits. I enjoyed this story and would happily read more from Jaymie Holland. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
Megan had secretly watched the twins for series, not realizing who they were. The owners of the company she worked for…..well used to work for. Now they think they can offer to rescue he with money, as a way to entice her. Sadly, they are wrong. Things don’t go as planned. It was a good read. Just wished for a little more back story about the twins.
Okay read. Felt a bit rushed at times but also felt there was a sadistic side to the introduction to the bdsm lifestyle. Didn’t feel any real attraction to the characters. Was okay and nit a keeper.
The beginning of that s book was great. It started out the way the book description portrayed the book to be, however I think that the story was way too short. I felt like it went from zero to 90 in .2 seconds. It also felt like the meat of the story was completely missing, almost like someone pulled out the sex scenes from a really great novel and made it a book. After the first few chapters I was completely disappointed with the way the book was going, although I did complete the book hoping it'd get better but it didn't. One of my problems with this book was that both Sean and Nick's characters where exactly the same. There was no uniqueness that separated one from the other. Sure, being identical twin means that they're really similar, but in this book when you got to the small bits of Sean's POV it all just seemed to fall really flat. NO Differences between them and that's what it kept saying that they were exactly the same with the exception that one was more dominant than the other. Also, Megan was described as the innocent, kind hearted and sweet person that had fantasized about Nick and Sean, but only in a vanillaish kind of way. Nothing all that extreme, until suddenly they were ordering her around and that's all she wanted. She seems to me to be a complete push over until suddenly she was this strong independent women that lasted a minute or two and then was a push over again. There were several times where her character just didn't make any sense. She goes from feeling like these men see her as a prostitute and being completely pissed to letting them take her cloths off to do as they pleased. Her character was completely flawed. And the BIGGEST problem were the BDSM sex scenes. Sure they're hot, but there was no introduction for someone who had never experience any of it. It seem forced and totally unrealistic. Megan doesn't get eased into the scene and she's going off of the knowledge she has from books she's read. In books I've read, they say a good Dom would go slow, find out what the Subs limits are, not just assume she has none and then go for the most extreme kinds of things. When you teach a child how to swim you don't throw them in the deep end and expect them to know what to do. That's how this BDSM seemed to be and Megan just goes along with it like it's no big deal because she wants to please them. Overall I really think that this could totally be a great read if there was more to the story, give the characters a little more work and allow the love to truly show.
Megan Faircloth is grateful for the job she does have, and while it’s not glamorous it pays the bills. While Megan wants to go to college, that is just not in the cards right now because keeping a roof overhead is. The one guilty pleasure Megan does have is the twins who visit her office occasionally. She enjoys looking at them when they are not looking at her.
Nick and Sean Dorian are twins who are rich and have the world at their fingertips. They are captivated by Megan but she works for them and that is a big problem. Therefore, they get Megan fired so they can date her. While I am sure that Nick and Sean have good intentions in firing Megan, them doing so not even knowing her financial situation beforehand shows that they are not much more than spoiled children. They are rich enough to get what they want when they want.
The chemistry between Nick, Sean and Megan is blistering. I just wonder what else Nick and Sean will try and control that could become an issue for Megan, because to me Nick and Sean only think of what they want. The sex scenes were hot but I had a hard time getting past Nick and Sean firing Megan so they could date.
This book started out very well but somewhere toward the middle it broke apart and seemed to rush the plot along at an unnaturally fast pace. This book could have been three times the length it was. The main and secondary characters were interesting and engaging. I hope we get to see more of these characters in the future. Overall, this was a good read.
****A gifted copy was provided by the author for an honest review****
This is such a HOT story. Megan goes to work every day and on this day, for some reason , today, Megan’s daydreams involve these two identical twin businessmen that stop by her office. These daydreams have always involved the men but today they were more intense and seemed to gotten more overtly sexual.
Nick and Sean have had their eyes on Megan for a while. The Men are Doms, Megan is submissive but unaware that is what she is. The twins realize its now or never to get Megan with them …forever as their “woman.”
The BDSM was HOT, the action fantastic, the emotion between the men and Megan seemingly real. And I got to read the HEA without having to imagine it so that made me very happy. All in All very good story.
I have to say this book delivers some serious heat! The drool worthy twins Sean & Nick are rich, powerful and dominant. Megan is the shy little secretary that gets to drool over the twin delights when they come to the company. Little does she know that both of these men want her just as much as she does them!
The BDSM elements were HOT without being over the top. And they all got their HEA, which is a huge plus!
The only thing I didn't like and why I gave it 4 stars is because the emotional connection goes from like/possibly forever straight to Love and HEA without any development along the way. Overall though a solid story, hot with just enough bite and now if you'll excuse me- I need to go find me some alpha twins. ;)
MY REVIEW You know when you need a easy read short book packed full of naughty with no deep drama or angst? yep thats just what i needed and what i got. Inked ticked the boxes for me it kept my attention, had funny parts, totally hot parts and sexy twins. The plot wasnt as in depth as it could have been there was just enough to hold all the sex together in my opinion. Sean and Nick are hot hunky billionaire twins who share everything including women and Megan is next on their to be shared list. I did find the sex toy party a little strange, bit weird two guys wanted a sex party. Not a bad read
The box set is three books. The first book "Inked" is Inked is a great store that I wish there were more of. Nothing like getting fired after drooling over two hot guys Sean and Nick. Megan is having a hard time finding a job and helps her roommate sale adult toys. The problem, the audience is the two hot guy's and they happen to be the owners of the company she was fired from. But things get hot in no time (lucky girl). This is a book I would really love to read a full version of if it was ever extended.
Sexy little story about the secretary lusting after the business men who come into her office on a regular basis. She doesn't know who they are, but that doesn't stop her fantasy
This and that, lead to things and happenings - lots of hot encounters for these three. They are just as clueless as her about who she is but want her just as much. Difference is, they are used to getting their own way and have the means to make that happen!
Megan is in a dead in job and no thoughts of men enter her mind except for when she thinks of the hunky twins that have been coming by the office lately. Sean and Nick are everything Megan has been hoping and dreaming about, but can they stop be the alpha Dom's that they are, or will they chase away their one true sub...very interesting read to say the least. Like don't think it really needs to be said, but on to the next.

I really enjoyed reading this story about twin brothers who find an attraction with a quiet submissive Secretary at one of their offices. They relentlessly pursue her, she has read BDSM and erotica and so she was fairly sure she wanted the attention.. Good writing and enjoyable story line.
