The beginning of that s book was great. It started out the way the book description portrayed the book to be, however I think that the story was way too short. I felt like it went from zero to 90 in .2 seconds. It also felt like the meat of the story was completely missing, almost like someone pulled out the sex scenes from a really great novel and made it a book.
After the first few chapters I was completely disappointed with the way the book was going, although I did complete the book hoping it'd get better but it didn't.
One of my problems with this book was that both Sean and Nick's characters where exactly the same. There was no uniqueness that separated one from the other. Sure, being identical twin means that they're really similar, but in this book when you got to the small bits of Sean's POV it all just seemed to fall really flat. NO Differences between them and that's what it kept saying that they were exactly the same with the exception that one was more dominant than the other.
Also, Megan was described as the innocent, kind hearted and sweet person that had fantasized about Nick and Sean, but only in a vanillaish kind of way. Nothing all that extreme, until suddenly they were ordering her around and that's all she wanted. She seems to me to be a complete push over until suddenly she was this strong independent women that lasted a minute or two and then was a push over again. There were several times where her character just didn't make any sense. She goes from feeling like these men see her as a prostitute and being completely pissed to letting them take her cloths off to do as they pleased. Her character was completely flawed.
And the BIGGEST problem were the BDSM sex scenes. Sure they're hot, but there was no introduction for someone who had never experience any of it. It seem forced and totally unrealistic. Megan doesn't get eased into the scene and she's going off of the knowledge she has from books she's read. In books I've read, they say a good Dom would go slow, find out what the Subs limits are, not just assume she has none and then go for the most extreme kinds of things. When you teach a child how to swim you don't throw them in the deep end and expect them to know what to do. That's how this BDSM seemed to be and Megan just goes along with it like it's no big deal because she wants to please them.
Overall I really think that this could totally be a great read if there was more to the story, give the characters a little more work and allow the love to truly show.
