Malachi's Message is a rip-off from Jules Dervaes, and was Gerald's attempt at getting members from the Worldwide Church of God (as it was then called, now GCI) using smart rephrasing of material formerly released by Jules Dervaes.
I have read this book twice - and both times sorely disappointed by the numerous instances where Mr. Flurry points fingers at others while overlooking his own mediocrity. It was only around 1989 - three years after Herbert W Armstrong, the church founder - that he began to see a market for his doctrines...
A lot of Hebrew prophets' names are used to legitimize the doctrinal veracity with little knowledge of the actual historic events as seen in the Bible. One could easily be convinced if not firmly rooted in the original texts of the Bible, so be warned if you read this book with an Armstrongite perspective.
