Within all of us lies a source of infinite bliss and compassion for others. The special methods explained within Tantric Buddhism enable us to discover this bliss for ourselves. The contemporary Tantric master, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, explains step-by-step how we can generate a deeply peaceful and concentrated mind by harnessing the subtle energy system within our own body. With this blissful awareness we can uncover our true nature, destroy ignorance and suffering at its root, and swiftly become a source of inspiration and benefit for others.

I expected an extension of Buddha dharma, but this book is basically about what I would classify as mysticism. It all seems completely fabricated and arbitrary, as opposed to the philosophical rigor of great Buddhism books like the eight steps to happiness and mind at ease. I suspect I might view it differently if the same body of knowledge were delivered to me in an experiential way in a workshop or retreat.
this book is basically an instruction manual for becoming a buddha. A to Z. i will read it more than once for sure. It leaves out most of the commentary and emphasizes the practice and results of practice. The language is a bit tricky for a beginner, however, for the intermediate student of Tibetan practices it is a great reference guide for the western reader,
La parte sobre meditación en la vacuidad es muy buena, pero el libro requiere la guía de la Sangha, ya que puede haber varios pasajes - capítulos oscuros
