I really enjoyed this book 2 of Louisa story, loved the adventurous spirit it had, but also the internal journey of both H and h.
Finally Louisa made clarity in her head, opened her heart and finally found home in Wards arms.
Ward too grew as person in book 2...his temperament is still fiery as hell, but he learned to deal with his emotions better and open his heart too.

I loved the both surprizes the book had...they deserved both those things.

Would love to read more about them. I heard Ember Casey is going to write a book 3 about them...so looking forward!!
I'm reading now 'Their wicked wedding' where beside Lily and Calder's wedding, Lou and Ward are too very present and I'm enjoying it.
Louisa and Ward turned to be two fascinating characters. Both grew so much in me...I think they stole the spotlight to Calder and Lily.

I totally recommend it!

See more of my reviews on my blog Thoughts At One In The Morning.

My Thoughts:

The end of Her Wicked Heart sort of left us hanging, not to mention wondering where the rest of Louisa and Ward's story would go after all the secrets came out. And I wanted to see what else is in store in the books that follow this one. Talk about being doubly anxious to see what's next! Don't forget the fact that this is a road trip book, too. *winks*

Louisa and Ward are each dealing with serious situations in their lives, so now they're attempting to run away from it all. Unfortunately, running away isn't solving the issues at hand. In fact, they seem to continue to catch up with them over and over again. They try to comfort each other while dealing with the inner conflicts, but sometimes stubbornness rules the day. While both Louisa and Ward are ignoring the reality they left behind, they're trading it in for what could be something even more important. Can their feelings for each other blossom? Can they be brave enough to go back?

Lost and Found is a passionate and captivating conclusion to the Her Wicked Heart series. Even though there are moments when you want to throttle Louisa and Ward, you realize that they're only human and they're learning. The romance is woven throughout, but it isn't all this story has to offer, which is great. Can't wait to see what's next for the Cunninghams and from Ember Casey, too!

My Rating: Very Good

I love me a road trip!

Of course, this was a very different kind of road trip than I'm used to. Typically I'm driving for eight to ten hours a day and by the time I reach a hotel I kick off my shoes and collapse on the bed for a nap. Lou and Ward sort of do the same thing, but they stop to have sex on the beach, or in the car, or in any of the seedy motels they stop at along the way!

Hot sex aside, this book was quite good! I didn't love Lou when I first met her, but it was great to see how she was growing as a person and discovering her feelings for Ward. Both Lou and Ward had pain to work through. Lou was still upset and hadn't really mourned the loss of her own father, while Ward never really got the chance to know his father because he didn't stick around when his mother got pregnant.

And then everything explodes near the end. No spoilers, but I am happy that Asher Julian got his. I thought he might have been a rival for Lily's love in an earlier novel, but he turned out to be the biggest asshole. So... I'm glad that he got what he deserved. Even if I wish I could kick him myself.

Lost and Found: A Cunningham Family Novel is the second book of Her Wicked Heart series. The story starts with Louisa (Lou) Cunningham and Ward Brannon leaving everything behind them. Lou knew that Ward's father would be looking for her after she has accidentally ruined a fundraiser which is hosted by him.

She also tried to persuade Ward in establishing a relationship with his father. Ward refused to leave her side in their road trip. Ward also has anger issues with his father for abandoning him and allowing his mother and him to fend for themselves. As far as he is concerned, he does not want to know his father.

Lou is so messed up in her head after her father has passed away and her family's fortune gone. She has never had a healthy relationship. Every time she gets into a situation, she has always ran. Fleeing the Huntington Manor is no different from what she does except this time, Ward is coming with her

During her road trip with Ward, she is discovering herself and Ward. As both discovered their physical, sexual, and emotion bonds, they also discovered that they are no different from their way of life. Lou may has grown up rich and always has on the tabloid is nothing new to her. She now has to protect Ward from the media. Ward has grew up poor but is discovering having money doesn't change anything except his life has gotten complicated.

Lost and Found is about Lou and Ward finding their way to each other and how they fit into the world from two different sides. It is about relationship and standing by each other when things get rough. Alone, both have lost their purpose but together, they found their purpose from each other.

The narrator, Sarah Beth Goer does a wonderful job of narrating from Lou's point of view. There were several hot scenes and I have to give her credos for narrating through these scenes. She is quite a professional narrator. I also love how the narrator shows that Lou is just floundering in the water and is examining her former life and her life with Ward.

The Her Wicked Heart Series goes out with a bang! Ember Casey illustrates the beauty of young carefree love through the characters of Louisa Cunningham and Ward Brannon. Louisa is faced with soul-searching conflict, and the ever-devoted Ward is by her side throughout all her doubts. The plot extends beyond the sexy Bonnie & Clyde type adventure to the development of unconditional and binding love.

From the beginning the audience is captured and enchanted by the daringness of these two characters. There are some intense moments of tension, anger, and outrage. One particular scene displays Ward Brannon's internal conflict and the reader is offered a deeper glimpse into this character.

The craft in this story is magnificent. The sensual scenes are balanced around the surrounding storyline and highlight the natural yearnings of lovers to establish a profound emotional connection. The author does a beautiful job of taking a highly sensual scene and crafting it into a work of art. (The metaphysical element of sex between lovers)

Lost & Found is ultimately, a self-actualization journey for both Louisa and Ward as they discover how to heal from past wounds and mend former relations.

This is definitively one sizzling seductive story that will leave the reader mesmerized!

This is the first book of this series I have listened to, to be honest I felt lost and I feel sure it is because I have not listen/read the others in this series. I thought the book was great as well as well written. There are a lot and I do mean a lot of hot heated scenes.

Sarah Beth Goer as the narrator did a wonderful job. Since I felt lost and really couldn’t find my way in the story I took the time to really listen to her voice. She has a smooth clear voice with lots of passion in it. I could almost feel the love scenes as if I was there. If I didn’t know better I would think they really were doing it. You had not trouble knowing who was talking whether it was male or female if was an easy clear change. You were never left guessing what each character felt. There was no background noise just a clear pleasant listen. I give her a 5 star ++ for all the hot scenes she really put herself into.

I think it is only fair to the author to read or listen to the others in this series to really get the full impact. I feel I would have enjoyed it more had I started with book one and moved on from there.

--I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series. It does not get old like some that are more than a trilogy. The Cunningham family is always bringing new and fresh stories for us. This is the second main book of Louisa and Ward's story. Lou is a total mess, trying to cope with the death of her father and the loss of her privileged life. Ward is running from his birth father, who now owns the Cunningham's former estate. The two are set on an adventure of running, fighting, loving, and lots of sex(did I mention how hot those scenes are?). While running, Lou and Ward learn about themselves, what they want, where they are going, will it be together? The growth of the two characters is incredible and you see them blend together and learn to cope with life and love. We do get to see Lily and Calder as well..and the surprise ending, well, you will just have to read the book!

Sarah Beth Goer narrates this story. Her narration has become the Cunningham family for me, and I love it. It's like coming home, knowing each character that is speaking, and it totally fits my picture of who they are.

Beautiful love story with pantie melting love scenes..wow! I loved how Lou and Ward found each other and themselves while falling in love, it was just perfect. These two are one big hot mess, but somehow they find their way by loving each other. Lou is FIERCE, and she gives it to someone who really deserves it (don't want to leave a spoiler) and it made me giggle! Ember Casey knows how to weave a beautiful, funny and sexy love story, I can't wait for her next book!

Omg I need more tissues!

Life on the run with Lou and Ward is filled with more hot sex and more breaks between Ward and people who get on his bad side. Even mean spirited tabloid reporter Asher Julian gets his due. This felt like more of an emotional rollercoaster than the first book but just as delicious. Surprises along the way keeps this just as intriguing life the others. But for sure Ember Casey needs to send me more tissues. Lol

I love the conclusion of this story. Although Lou and Ward was on the run, their characters really evolved. Especially Lou, because she actually fell in love and thought about someone else besides herself..I think she's way too hard on herself. She's not as selfish as she thinks and actually is a very sweet person. Ward is the ultimate hero..what a guy. Looking forward to read more in the future.
