This is a Smithsonian publication so, of course, it is beautifully produced and a joy to lead through. But just as a Smithsonian magazine is eye candy and interesting to read, this book was far from making the juices of curiosity and "aha" moments that Leakey's ground breaking "Origins" did.

Goes over lots of discoveries you may have heard about in some brief blurb on the news, but of which you didn't get to learn the significance. For old guys like me, lots of stuff that came out after I got out of college.
